Maddyyyy
It's a well made show. I like the character development and twists. My issue was the fan service, it was weird. If it wasn't there, it would be an amazing show. Like the main character is the generic nice guy, but it makes sense why the girls like him. Like he genuinely cares and is there for the girls when they need him. I will say I liked who he picked as his love and how it ended. My main problem as I said was the fan service, it was just unnecessary, and like how it happened wouldn't happen irl. At the guy isn't a degen-

THIS SHOW WOULDN'T BE REMEMBERED UNTIL TO THIS DAY IF THEY DIDN'T CHANGED KAEDE'S SWEET CHARACTER INTO A COMPLEX YANDERE.
And that's exactly why I have mixed feelings about this like a part of me wants to rate this only 1 but then the other side wants me to rate this almost 9 because I always do not like it when an adaptation changes the plot and the characters. But I ended up rating it 9 for it's unforgettable crazy moments and unique turn of harem.
In conclusion they accidentally made Kaede as one of the most arguably realistic and well written yandere character it's kinda funny I guess...

I wanted to like this show, but the story was all over the place. It became interesting later on, but it was too late at that point. It's a good thing there was plenty of fan service. I was able to entertain myself with that.
The first half is mostly a comedy, with the girls all trying to get Rin's attention and the other boys in the school getting angry about it. The second half of the series is darker and more serious, as it delves into the main characters' backgrounds and deals with their issues and problems. Rin is an okay male lead for a typical harem show because he seems like an average guy, not a loser or a jerk. However, my main issue is the story and pointless demons and gods theme. They could have been normal humans, and it wouldn't change the story at all. There are only 2 or…

Shuffle while at first seems like an early two thousands harem fan service show which it kind of is deviated from others to me at least because of the sound design and music the music that plays throughout the episodes reminds me of majula in dark souls 2 it's a welcoming sound that is also somewhat sinister like something made by puppet combo which was enough to raise this show from a 6 to a 8 in my opinion. If you are turned away at first but you liked the atmosphere from dark souls 2 or like puppet combo there's a decent chance you will grow to like it if only for the ambience.

This show is definitely for a certain type of viewer and is lacking in quite a few ways. That being said, I actually had a great time with this series and am curious who else might've saw the diamond in the rough such as I. It's not that Shuffle breaks the mold in any way, although it did have a pretty unique cast and environment. For an older series, I didn't expect great animation, acting, or anything that I've come to expect with more recent series, but, fortunately, Shuffle does a pretty good job in terms of voice acting and animation...or at least good enough I didn't even feel put off by it.
BEWARE, SPOILERS!
I see other reviewers didn't quite feel the same way I did about the show. I suppose I get why they had issues, I had some myself, thus why it didn't receive a perfect score…

Ok, I got annoyed a lot by this show, the biggest problem for me, is it starting taking one route, then purposely running it into a brick wall. What starts as a harem, with a guy living alone with a girl who he has no real feelings for, explores the ups and down on harem life. The jealousy, possessiveness, naivety, and of course the classic guy who is clueless as never dated before.
It almost felt like several people were writing the anime, each trying to sabotage the other's work and hopeful outcome. We have multi personalities, craziness, an emotionless loli, the girl who hits and breaks rib force among the group and the characters feel a bit ludicrous by the time, they build and then are sabotaged. It feels like walking into a random room at the asylum, picking up a partner who is one…

It's been almost six years since I've finished this show, and I can still say with certainty that this show was terrible. The only thing I liked was the opening (which is a banger by the way) and it's OST, but overall the show made me want to blow my brains out. The reasoning behind every character's action in this show made me actually want to fucking grab my old Medion computer and throw it out the window.
This show actually brought out a deep hatred from within me which I never knew existed and made me realize at the tender age of 12 that shit anime actually existed in this world, and I had just witnessed it's end. How this show even got past the 5-star rating boggles my mind and made me realize what too much anime might do to my brain: leave me a brain-dead shell of my former self was…

Based on the eroge visual novel, Shuffle! tells the story of Tsuchimi Rin, your basic clueless, bland protagonist (who ends up becoming something of an asshole) who tries to navigate his life while being surrounded by a bunch of girls who all want to marry him.
To be honest, a lot of the girls' motivations don't make much sense to me, which I'll be going into in a moment.
The art is nice to look at, with no terribly glaring flaws, even if some of the characters' designs can be a little odd (for example, what's with the abundance of random ribbons wrapped around locks of hair?). There's also some uncomfortable nudity in the show, as the person you see naked the most is a little girl...yeah. Do with that what you will.
The sound is average, both dubbed and subbed, with some popular VAs in…

Plot twist after plot twist after plot twist, I guess that's why they called it Shuffle!
I'm not quite sure how to start this review, I guess I have been on a dizzy joyride of emotions like a teacup that won't stop spinning on a theme park ride, but I digress.
Shuffle! is a classic anime of romance, comedy, drama, and for the first time ever, for me personally, a harem. I have never watched a harem anime and I'm glad I started with Shuffle! I don't actually know what harem means but I guess it's essentially 1 guy, 5 beautiful girls that would equal a variety of romantic outcomes. Forgive me if I got that wrong but I guess that's what it could have been.
Anyway, enough of me rambling on, let's get into the main brunt of the review and why I have given this anime a high score of 10/10

The Greatest Show That Everyone Forgot (vLR)-
A full 43,000+ word retrospective that nobody asked for;
Shuffle! is a 2005 anime adaptation of a visual novel by the same name. The anime did decently well in Japan, garnering enough attention to later receive a recap series and in the West receive a good quality dub however has since faded into obscurity, becoming the sort of show that long time anime fans might suggest to you but that is unlikely to come up in general discussion.
This lack of staying power combined with a somewhat mixed reception in the West has left the show in a somewhat unknown possession. Few reviews of any real merit exist in video or essay format and most of the ones that do spend large amounts of time being somewhat ironically butt-hurt that their favourite 'Waifu'…

===Story=== 4/10
First few episodes were promising but the plot points seemed to jump from place to place with no sense of continuity or overarching message or purpose. I like that the harem DOES end with a choice, but the path to get to that choice was unclear and underdeveloped. There weren't any major events or situations that led to him falling for that girl, though I do like the pairing. All in all, the story failed to make this anime great, which it could have been.
===Art=== 7/10
It hurts my soul that this anime isn't offered in at AT LEAST DVD quality. 480p is really hard to watch these days. The art was good if you can ignore some glaring inconsistencies in litghting, shading and detail.
===Sound=== 9/10
Arguably the most redeeming trait of this anime. The OP is awesome, even…

Summary: Shuffle is, above all else, a complete mess. It has a profoundly unlikable protagonist and many of the other main characters are annoying as well. It veers wildly between goofy harem romantic comedy and extreme melodrama, to the point that I was actually laughing at scenes that were supposed to be sad or upsetting because the juxtaposition between the two was so preposterous. Not every part of this show is bad, but it tries to be far too many different shows at once and ends up being substantially less than the sum of its parts. What a trainwreck.
Positives:
+ Some of the side characters are good. Itsuki and Mayumi consistently steal the scenes they're in. Nerine and Sia's dads are good comic relief. The teacher is fun. They all should have gotten more screen time, but they made…

This anime has been on my watch list ever since I discovered that there is more to anime than just shounen comedy stories. This story is your run-of-the-mill harem rom/com anime but with a touch of spice and a possible yandere ending.
The story revolves around a guy and his harem of girls, girls with all different backstories. A split personality, a somewhat medical survivor, a half-breed and an obsessed friend. I'm not really sure how accurate the anime is compared to the original source. I might play the visual novel just to see the other endings to the other girl that I wish he chose.
This is possibly one of the few harem animes that I was perfectly fine who the MC chose. I'm talking about you Raku, you could've had Onodera but nooooo, you chose the Tsundere Gorilla girl. What a wad

"You don't even care you're just going to lead all three of them along till you break their poor little hearts ?"
--- Itsuki, Episode 2
Bad, Very Bad and Horrible there's your choices for this anime. I went with bad, but it could just have easily been horrible or even pathetic.
Some of my negative reaction to this anime has to be the MC who might as well have been played by a block of wood. He takes clueless harem protagonists to a whole nother level. He is really painful to watch. Mater of fact I think I have developed an allergy to these clueless anime characters thanks to this guy. Hell at least Issei from High School D x D had a goal.
The girls. Not going to go through them by name, they are all equally as bad as Rin, maybe even worse. It was impossible to work up any empathy at al…

Welcome to Robert's Too Late Reviews! Working from the dubbed version. Today we have a series that started off a bit slowly, but as it comes into the home stretch, it quickens it's pace dramatically, and ends with quite the bang! Shuffle! would have been a solid 9 in my book, if not for a few flaws. Even so, this is one series I'm quite glad I experienced. Let's shuffle down and look at the good, and the not so good features of this anime!
Story: 8
The primary reason that this isn't a 9 is the fact that in the early goings, it did seem like your forgettable, run of the mill harem anime. I came into the title, thinking after about 3 episodes that I was looking at a '6' rating at best. However I was far off base, though it took getting close to the midway point for me to realize this. Once…

So what's the deal with this show? It seems to have people divided and i'm not sure I can commentate as to why without giving away at least some vague spoilers regarding the shows general content and direction.
In many respects the show is an archetypal harem. For the first half of the show it all goes rather predictably. There are a bunch of girls who all share the same love interest and for what ever arbitrary reason there seems to be very little animosity between the competition, with each girl seemingly supporting the next's right "to challenge" as if winning the protagonist's heart was some kind of lite sport. Their reasons are all kind of bottom of the barrel, dime-a-dozen skits where the male protagonist, Rin, once did something moderately kind for them as a toddler and the girls b…

The anime was great, and I enjoyed it a lot, watching only 5-6 episodes I gave it 10/10. It was a great harem anime upto episode 17. After that it became a boring drama anime. No screentime of most of the characters. It lost the essence of harem anime. The MC was looking kind at first but I found him scum after episode 17.I regret why I watched this anime. I changed my rating to 1/10. I normally don't write reviews but after watching this I had to.
I don't recommend anyone to watch the anime. And if you are watching then don't watch after episode 17.

Shuffle is a typical harem anime with dumb story lines and a looooot of panty shot and fan service.
1-STORY
I didn't think i could be this detached of a story and its characters. The plot sometime doesn't make sense and is too convenient and the ending made me feel nothing.
SPOILERS The whole story line went from poor to mediocre when a certain character went full yandere. END OF SPOILERS
2-ART
Really good for a 2005 anime. The only bad thing for me is the hair behind the eyes. But overall its very good.
3-SOUND
The ost were meh. The opening was good i liked it and almost never skipped it. But i really didn't like the seiyuus. Maybe its how it was done before but meh really but u get used to it.
4-Characters
The characters were okay but its just that i felt so detached to their persona…
