I’m going to be honest, up until this point, Jojo Part Four has been my favorite, and it still is. But I think there’s a good run in for Part Five. The Jojo we follow here is Giorno and we follow his adventure to take down the top mob boss to take over and fix all the mistakes and issues set because of the top mob boss.
Giorno is very different than the other Jojos, being related directly to Dio, and as a premise is very interesting. However for enjoyment sake, he’s not my favorite, he’s a bit too serious for my liking and feel like they didn’t do a lot with his character. For most of the anime, he’s very static and feels more like a background character in an anime called JOJO.
Ok, what about the rest of the team he’s with. I’ll start with one character I didn’t really care for too muc…

GIORNO GIOVANNA 🎵
Part 5 of JoJo, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, is simply one of the most daring and stylish phases of the series. Here, the series not only expands the concept of Stands but takes this idea to an almost absurd level (in the best possible way), where creativity and strategy are worth more than brute force.
Unlike previous parts, the story deviates considerably from the traditional dynamics of the Joestar family we already knew, such as Jotaro Kujo and Joseph Joestar. Instead, we delve into the journey of Giorno Giovanna, a protagonist with a very specific ambition: to rise in the hierarchy of the Italian mafia to stop drug trafficking, especially among children. And this objective already gives a more serious and even morally complex tone to the narrative.
The…

Another fantastic part of JoJo. This is arguably the most iconic part, and for good reason. However, it has some flaws that keep it from a perfect score. Giorno is characterized pretty poorly and ends up being the least interesting out of the main group. Also, the villain Diavolo (very subtle) lacks the personality of DIO and the quiet menace of Kira, making him significantly worse than any JoJo villain so far.
Now for the good, and there’s a lot. The structure feels like a more concise Stardust Crusaders, with none of the Stand fights feeling formulaic or like filler. I think I prefer the Part 4 stands because of the variety of uses outside combat, but these ones are great too. My favorites are Sex Pistols, Metallica, and of course the Rolling Stones.
Araki’s writing has overall gotten…

The first part of Jojo that I truly enjoyed. I learned so much about the stances and saw such cool executions here, unlike in any previous part. But the biggest plus points of this part for me are, firstly, the incredibly beautiful setting in Italy, where you can tell the mangaka put a lot of effort into it, and secondly, what I consider a fantastic, functioning mafia system that fits the main theme of the part perfectly. Then there's the mystery surrounding the main villain; you want to stay engaged until the very end and absolutely have to find out who he is. And finally, a superbly functioning main group with fantastic interactions between them. However, I didn't think Girono was quite as good as Josuke before him or Jotaro.

This season has great music,
Great references and facts— both biological and geographical.
Great stand abilities,
It felt more team based than the previous seasons,
And so the mc was cool but not much explored,
and strangely— it was perfect.
It seems Araki has grown this style with every part.
I really iked Alcachino, Especially in that moment with the police officer— that really stuck with me.
And Buggati was also great.
And like always there were death in this part— which I really appreciate,
because death is a symbolism quite special for ch. development which Araki knows very well,
another thing about this part, unlike part 4,
Here the deaths were.... Beautiful.
Made my heart- flutter and composure- break .

One of the greatest JoJo's Bizarre Adventures ever, and my second favorite, and I'd rate it a 10/10 without hesitation.
I liked the episode, I liked the story, I liked the hero "Giorno Giovanna" and all the characters, and the power of the stands , and even the figths and events were among the most amazing I've ever seen.
Without saying too much, greatness is renewed in the words "golden wind," "golden experience," "fate," and "secrets and determination."
In just one week, it's done, and I'm excited for another episode with a new story and new events from the creative Araki.
I'll end with one word: "The pinnacle of imagination and greatness."

Another part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has been completed, and for me, this one is the best of all, even though part 4 seems unbeatable. The way the story was told, in a less episodic way, with the episodes being more intertwined with each other, pleased me a lot, not to mention the charismatic characters who bring good fights to the screen.

After watching the first parts of Jojo and especially Stardust Crusaders, I wanted to watch Golden Wind, but the setting and scenario just didn't grab me initially and I repeatedly dropped the anime after the first two episodes. The story is basically a self contained story of Giorno (who is the illegitimate son of Dio Brando) who lives in Naples and wants to become the Mafia Boss and kill the current Boss. Initially I just did not see why this Giorno was compelling, and I felt like the story didn't have the stakes of Stardust Crusaders.
However, once I got into this anime and forced myself to watch for a bit, I got completely sucked in.
To the point that it actually became my favorite arc of Jojo ever. To make it simple, the basic scenario/plot (which is a classic mafia story) is not imp…

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5: Golden Wind is an absolute gem, with a cast I’ve grown to love, especially Giorno and Bucciarati. Giorno is such a unique and driven character, and I genuinely don’t understand why he doesn’t get as much love from some fans—his calm resolve and strong sense of justice make him a powerful and inspiring protagonist. Bucciarati, on the other hand, brings the team together with his unwavering loyalty and sense of honor, making him one of the most unforgettable characters in the entire series.
Araki’s storytelling and character development noticeably improve in Part 5, blending complex character dynamics with creative Stand battles that keep the intensity high. The plot twists and the depth of each character’s backstory make every episode or chapter feel meanin…

I liked the previous Jojo parts except for one - for the purpose of this review, this will not be revealed until I review said part. However, I have not been more baffled in a long time by a part of Jojo that was 'this' consistent in being badly executed, and I will explain why. The pacing of the story was decent, it was certainly even better than Part 4 and Part 3, but I found no enjoyment in the experience, I couldn't tell why at first. It even did the fights right, there was tension in each fight. But then it dawned on me, it clicked, why this part didn't work.
Reason 1: The Failure of its Premise.
The Premise was good in concept but so ridiculously bad in execution that it was hard to justify. For one, it is introduced as a Mafioso story in Italy, with Stands of course, and this Gior…

Golden Wind might be the only anime I can describe in one word: PEAK.
Undoubtedly the greatest animated JoJo arc so far, and genuinely what I consider to be the greatest anime I've seen. It's been over a year since I've watched it, and it's stood out in my mind all this time as the apex of all animation. Incredibly stylized art and animation that takes full advantage of the medium, especially with the stirking use of colors. Outstanding action that goes beyond the already-high standards set by the earlier JoJo installments. The greatest cast of characters thus far, with loads of chemistry among themselves both at the start, with legitimately genuine and heartfelt development as the plot continues.
This time, our JoJo is the Italian delinquent Giorno Giovanna, the bastard son of Dio from…

This was by far the worst JoJo season I've seen and I just finished part 1 of season 6, which was 10x better compared to this one.
JoJo is a side character in this one.
Story
-
There's essentially no story. It's literally about taking down the "Boss" of the mafia. There's nothing else. The crew and especially JoJo have no solid justifications for going after him. The only one being "drugs are bad, mmkay". The "Boss" was keeping his identity a secret and would kill anyone who would try to find out his true identity. That's it.
The world wasn't in danger. No one important was being targeted, well other than the obnoxious female character, but she's not even really vital to the story.
Characters
-
Speaking of characters, the female one was fine for the most part. But she's just not intere…

I thought Stardust Crusaders was my favorite Jojo arc, but it wasn’t until I watched Golden Wind that I was completely swayed! I can’t decide what I liked about it the most: the storyline? The characters and their motivations? The clever new stands and creative ways they’re used? I couldn’t get enough of it! I felt such a deep connection to these characters and how much they meant to each other. Their convictions were so strong and their desire to see things all the way through was so endearing to me. When the group succeeded I was happy for them, when they failed or suffered I felt so badly for them. The last time I wanted something so badly for a character was probably for Yuri on Yuri on Ice. The great desire and tenacity to see something through to the end is something that I admire in…

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5: Golden Wind is in my opinion one of the most unique parts from Jojo's, based on it's characters, story, setting, etc.
What I really like about Part 5 is just the Mafia touch to it and trying to get higher on the power ladder, to eventually become the Mafia Boss.
But what other things do I like or not like about Part 5?
Let's look at that right now.
So grab a drink or some snacks and have some fun reading this review! :)
Story 8,5/10:
The story begins with our new Jojo (or GioGio) getting introduced.
His name is Giorno Giovanna.
He is a 15 year old boy who works as a small scammer for some parts of the mafia. His biggest dream is to become a gangster since his childhood. When he was a kid, he saved a gangster and in return the gangster protected him from hi…

Sama kaya seri Jojo lainnya, nontonnya capek.
Just like other Jojo series, it's tiring to watch. Against Diavolo it doesn't have much of a feel, it's like just running around and passing the requiem arrows, but I like the mafia atmosphere, especially the part where the ice blocks are delivered.
The opening is okay, Requim wo wow woah~
I rarely hear the ending of Jojo, mostly Roundabout because it's also a meme.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, is a phenomenal addition to the franchise. Set in Italy, this season follows Giorno Giovanna, the son of Dio Brando, as he rises through the ranks of the Italian mafia in order to take down the boss and rid the organization of corruption.
One of the strongest aspects of this season is the incredible character development of Giorno and his mates. Each member of his team has a unique personality and backstory, making them all feel fleshed out and important to the overall narrative. The dynamic between them is also well-written and entertaining to watch, particularly the relationship between Giorno and Bruno Bucciarati.
you'll love some and hate some. some cringe moments/fights but all part of it.
Last few episodes are emotional and action packed to say…

Bon Giorno and welcome to Italy! It's no secret that JoJo creator Hirohiko Araki loves Italy and nowhere is this more evident than the acclaimed Part 5: Vento Aureo. A gangster (or should I say Gangstar) mystery thriller, mixed in with wacky and thrilling Stand battles, high stakes action and some nice sprinklings of trademark JoJo humour and homoerotic nonsense.
Among all JoJo parts, Vento Aureo is among the most self-contained. It's events have little to no effect on what comes after and while it is a consequence from events in previous parts, it exists mostly in isolation from anything else. But make no mistake, this doesn't mean it isn't impactful, quite the contrary. Part 5 stands out a lot - here is where JoJo truly shifted away from muscular 80s shonen heroes to elegant, flamboyant…

I have a simple heuristic regarding JoJo - a good part is followed by a bad part. Considering how much I liked Part 4 (my favourite, just above Battle Tendency), I had braced myself, but this one still fell flat. In my review of Part 4, I said how a simple change of genre and deletion of the "save-the-world" trope fixed everything that was wrong with Part 3 for me. That was a very creative solution but also a roundabout way of going around things. In Part 5, Araki is more direct because this is a very simple rehash of Part 3. Now, I think this is genuinely a much better version all things considered but it still isn't good enough for me.
Primarily, I did not like the characters. First, the design just didn't work for me and as the series went on, I could not get invested in any of them whi…

JOJO part 5 is pretty damn good but nowhere near as good as the other jojo parts are. unlike other parts that slowly introduce the characters this one introduces them all at once. instead of having quality time with each character like other parts we get a fast paced go here kill this guy dynamic witch means no new stand user joining the party like previous parts. i dunno it just feels like it does not let you breathe at any point and just keeps throwing the next stand user one after the other.
the final fight is lame as hell too so good part but i prefer literally every other one.

Golden Wind disappointed me. This arc is more of a straightforward battle shonen with a serious, tragic narrative (that has basically nothing to do with the rest of the universe). It's still a fun watch, with a killer soundtrack and amazing art/animation, but it lacks the charm and humor of the prior arcs. If you mostly view this show as a comedic parody of the shonen genre, like I do, then I think you will also find Golden Wind underwhelming. Spoilers ahead.
This arc is different for a few reasons. Most notably, it doesn't revolve around a Jojo character. Giorno Giovanna is by blood a Joestar, but I can't consider him the true main character. That's because the story really revol…
