Wasteful Days of High School Girls

Wasteful Days of High School Girls

Introduction

As she heads off to her entrance ceremony at Sainotama Girls' High School, Akane Kikuchi muses over her grade school dream of becoming a manga artist and the lack of progress that she has made. When she finally arrives at school, she is surprised to learn that she is once again in the same class as her two best friends: the deadpan and emotionless Shiori Saginomiya and the hyperactive and ridiculous Nozomu Tanaka. Tanaka then comes to the obvious realization that she can't achieve her grade school dream of being popular with the boys and getting a boyfriend by going to an all-girls high school. In desperation, she begins asking the girls in her class to introduce her to their guy friends. Her classmates, however, are anything but ordinary. From a grandmother-loving loli to a reclusive chuunibyou to an overly analytical stalker, each one is given a fitting nickname by Tanaka to accentuate their weirdness. And so begin the wasteful days of these high school girls, each day kicked off with a simple question: "Hey, wanna hear something amazing?" [Written by MAL Rewrite]

I loved this anime. If you have watched Daily Lives of High School Boys, you would love this. If you haven't I also recommend that, but currently this is one of my favorites. It is such an amazing anime where I wished I had friends and the humor is also really good. If you like lighthearted, relatable and heartwarming anime, I highly recommend this. It is very funny and I wish that this had a season 2. Definitely going to try buy the manga and would always watch/read this when I feel down. Such a comfort anime. The art style is pretty good and is nice. The characters are likable, and are relatable in many ways (varies from person). The story is like the title and sometimes it's pretty realistic. Except if you ignore the effects. I think it's a show that many people would enjoy. Don't mind…

Among the genres the proliferate the world of Japanese animation, nothing's quite ubiquitous as the comedy department. Whatever one's preferred serving of humor, anime would have a handful or so to offer. I am unashamedly fall under the lowest of the low as even corny jokes would have a rub on my funny bone and thus I may or may not be an authority to properly discern comedy anime. After all, my friends have ostracized me for talking shit about Nichijou while absolutely adoring Hare+Guu. Nonetheless, here I am to talk about a surprisingly lovely slice of life that I just came upon by serendipitous coincidence. Wasteful Days of High School Girls is what Nichijou wished it was. A simple peek into random events among a cast of characters which is injected with subjective humorous encounters…

Watch as I once again put half a dozen absolute classic tv shows on hold to binge watch a totally arbitrary 12 episode show that will never get a second season or a very satisfying payoff to whatever it sets up. That being said I'm never not down for an easy comedy that gets absolutely real asf for about one line each episode. Disregarding the one ep that's entirely about boobs and bras and tits and stuff, there's often a hint of bored melancholy in this show, somewhere way way under the surface. It manages to strike a really nice tone, with the relatable depressing stuff being present every once in a while, but never distracting from the fact that it's still a comedy all the way through. All the references and quiet moments and absurd shit blends together to make an excellent show that I…

While I give it an 8/10 overall specifically evaluating it based on its sole genre being comedy. It really deserved to be higher because of the characters which I would give all of them a 10/10. Honestly, all the characters were enjoyable to watch and see in the show that I am actually sad for it to end, not getting to see them anymore. Surprisingly each character is unique in each of their own ways, both in terms of personality and character design. Because of that I was able to tell them apart as with some animes when the character cast gets this large. The characters sometime blend into each other or some feel not as present. For this anime you get to know each character a bit, some more than you would expect that it gives them decent backstories, and overall shows how each contribute…

GDCT (Girls Doing Cute Things) is quite common but GDDT (Girls Doing Dumb Things) are rare and its hard to execute. especially when the story consists of multiple characters and focuses on everybody on each episode. It is really a Comedy Gold, having some scenes that make me laugh so hard I fell of my chair. Each character has its time to shine and every time they shine they do random bullsh*t that always funny and I love it the art style is perfect for this anime, the facial expressions the shenanigans and many more. the OP is a banger thou I really enjoy this anime and I love it. Its equal to Asobase Asobi in terms of randomness and tons of bullsh*t that makes me laugh. The fact that I watched this rather than doing my school work is pretty weird but i love this

For those of you who want to find a comedy anime with a simple story, then I recommend this anime for you Honestly I don't understand why this anime is less popular. Even though this anime has a funny comedy, it has a good character design, each character in this anime has a unique character. These unique characters strengthen the comedy in this anime. Me as a viewer expect that there are men who can interact with the female characters in this anime. Surely that strengthens the comedy in this anime even more. Other than that, for animation I would give 9/10. As for the opening and ending songs, it's quite pleasant to hear and I never skip it

Just not funny enough for me, as a Japanese speaker who adores quirky humour. I came across ‘Joshikousei no Mudazukai’ during a search for anime similar to ‘Nichijou’, ‘Asobi Asobase’ and ‘The Daily Lives of Highschool Boys’ - three anime that I’m fond of and think portray the Japanese surreal humour very well and all in all are extremely funny shows. The anime that most people recommended for these three was this anime, ‘Wasteful Days of Highschool Girls’. Now this may be because I am Japanese, and maybe have a high standard of the Japanese humour that I want to see or if it’s because I understand the humour and language better than perhaps a non-Japanese speaker - but this show just wasn’t that funny to me. I watched it through to the end just because I wanted to give it a chance, but…

This show is extremely funny, and very wholesome. It's not exactly the same, but if you like shows such as asobi asobase, aho-girl, nichijou, or azumamga daioh, then you will have a blast with this one. It depends on the episode, but for the most part this anime is really funny, like laugh-out-loud multiple times an episode funny. Honestly it's hard to remember the last time I laughed this hard at an anime. The other thing that I really appreciate about this anime are the cute and likable characters and the wholesome moments. I love every character, they all fit super well, and every scene, even if it isn't that wholesome or is supposed to be not very wholesome, still feels wholesome (if that makes sense?) overall this is just a really fun, funny, and a little bit moe anime.

I stumble across this anime this morning and finish it this evening, all I gotta say is I enjoy it a lot, the characters and the story is good, the artstyle is pretty average, but I like the opening concept. the comedy is like asoobi asobase but less crazy, and it goes more towards shoujo stuff. this anime is filled with ambient, which is definitely had a tone for slice of life. it's pretty relaxing and enjoyable I binge watching it in just a day, you find this helpful or not, all I gotta say is this one is pretty underrated, probably because it doesn't really appeal to larger audience, like I didn't know this anime exist until this morning.

This easy-going anime takes you to the daily struggle of Nozomu "Baka" Tanaka, who lives her nickname to the fullest, and her friends. The baseline story is pretty similar to the other slice of life anime that takes highschool girl as the protagonist, but this one has an enjoyable character development pacing and serves you with more relatable events. No cringe, boring, or cliche stuff. Everyday is a peaceful day. As per for my subjective evaluation, I don't see any downside to this anime. I knew that I am going to complete watching this and be excited waiting to watch the next episodes after finishing one since the first episode. I loved how they brings diversity in many forms even though the plot; Tanaka went into girls-only highschool yet still have strong (as in, exist, not literally)…

I'd technically give this a 7.5 The series is one of many highly underrated godlike comedies. Full of hilarious tropes and references and me myself couldn't help but cackle at this show's many jokes. The show started off with a bang and went into full throttle with its comedy, but as the series progresses it started falling flat as some of that golden comedy began to dissipate along with it. The series was fun in general but like how the characters get tired of the really obnoxious girl in thee series, I too kinda fell like she ran out of jokes to tell, and the comedy kinda shifted away from what it first appeared to be, a huge meta comedy on anime. The opening song also fell flat for me, it was just, really annoying. I know that we were supposed to focus more on the three main charact…

Truly these are the wasteful days a person really can have. The story was OK and concept was pretty normal too. The things that striked me most were 11th and 12th episode. 11th episode was really good as the homeroom teacher turned out to be something different and that was really awesome twist. All the characters were special in their own way and provided different flavors to this show. I enjoyed this show but I have seen shows really better than this show so I can't give it any more rating. My review will become pretty much clear when you watch this show. 1st 10 episodes weren't good, but 11th episode changed everything.

- This review contain spoiler - There is so much unique character in this anime like the Chuunibyou, and the teacher that likes college girls then highschool girls. They are so fun to watch and so entertaining. The comedy presented by the author is easy to understand and the story is very light. Even though it's just a anime, the stupid girl main character is just so annoying sometimes and very difficult to see her behavior. My favorite character is Momoi Saku, she's too pure for that world. when i watch the anime and read the comment after finish some episodes, there is a fun fact in this anime that based from the author itself. After i know that, that episode make huge different berfore i read the comment.

I started watching this series after seeing it mentioned in passing. It was only meant for me to pass the time but I ended up being pleasantly surprised and enjoying the show greatly. Why you should watch this show: The nicknames given to the characters at the beginning of the show are hilarious and they stick for the entire show. I don't think I've watched an entire show without knowing the real names of any of the characters. There are characters named "baka" and "loli" The show will take a joke and commit to it for an entire episode. You might not know what's happening in the moment but the end of each episode always makes me laugh! The feeling of degenerating and talking about random topics with your friends in a school environment is genuinely accurate and relatable. There are fu…

Okay, so after a long and stressed week you just want to relax on your weekend in your house. Then watch this anime. Made out of pure comedy this anime can relief all your tension . You can see cute girls doing cute things or pointless things in many pointful ways. No story, no pain in the ass character only comedy and relaxation.I was actually a fan of comedy or spice of life type relaxing animes, so it was a treasure for me. They also visualizes great example of friendship here. If we talk about opening and ending songs, those are also great.

I’ve always enjoyed watching cute girls doing cute things (looking at you, Houkago Tea Time), but derpy girls doing derpy things have stolen a piece of my heart. From the main trio to the supporting cast and all the social webs spun in between, Joshikousei no Mudazukai is something special. Indeed, the girls of class 1-2 have a surprising amount of depth to their characters. I found myself particularly drawn to Robo and Lily. -Robo is an apathetic genius with a passion for microbiology. Beyond that, she can compose haiku on the spot using whatever source material her friends give her, and she enjoys modeling Japanese monuments using mikan (oranges). Truly, she is in a class of her own. But, on a softer note, Robo is deeply attached to her best friends. And, if I may make an assumption, sh…

Overall a chilling anime its main focus is not on how the story is nor how things will develop, but then its more focused on nothing hahaha. Its like really an anime for fun, I will not say it is bad for i like it, for it is very chilling and not stressful to watch like other animes, that have bad story, bad character, and even development. So yea overall im giving it a 9. The song was cool and nice, really enjoyed the vibes of it for it fits with the anime, the anime is crazy, the character is crazy, and even the song is crazy AHAHAHA. Unexpectedly, the ending was touching, it makes the audience wanted a second season, and I will say definitely it worked I WANTED A SECOND SEASON, very nice, relaxing, anime!!

Man, this was HILARIOUS. Some moments had me in actual tears, it was so funny. You know you've done a great job when the viewer has a feeling of sadness at the end of the show, because they are going to miss the cast. And that's exactly how Joshikousei no Mudazukai made me feel when it ended. I am really going to miss these girls if they don't come out with a season 2. If you enjoyed anime like Nichijou, Setokai Yakuindomo or Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, you more than likely will really enjoy this anime. As the title suggests, it just follows the random happenings of high school girls. The trio of stars here are the aspiring BL Mangaka, Wota (Akane), The stoic and almost android like Robo (Shiori), and the mentally retarded goofball, Tanaka (Baka). These three have some of the best comedic…

A surprisingly fun to watch anime Filling in part the emptiness that left Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, Joshikousei no Mudazukai (Wasteful Days of High School Girl) comes to present a slice of life comedy about a group of peculiar friends and how they spend their daily lives doing ridiculous stuff. One day, out of boredom, Tanaka decided to give her classmates a nickname based on their peculiarities. Her friend Sakuchi became "Ota" given her otaku interests, and her other friend Saginomiya became "Robo” due to her inexpressive personality. In retaliation, her friends decided to nickname her "Baka" for her notorious idiocy. From this event will begin this ridiculous story of three friends and their classmates who claim (but do not prove) to live up to the maturity of youth. Being one of…
