Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion

Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion

Introduction

When, after her sudden death, Rinko Hanasaki is reborn as Raeliana McMillan, she is not sure whether to curse her luck. Raeliana was a minor character in a novel Rinko read, and as the eldest daughter of a nouveau-riche baron, she led a carefree life until her unfortunate demise at the hands of her fiancé, Lord Francis Brooks. To avoid her destined fate, Raeliana is determined to end her engagement with Francis. However, when Francis refuses to break things off, Raeliana decides to seek help from someone of higher standing and approaches Duke Noah Wynknight—the novel's male protagonist. Using her knowledge of the plot, Raeliana captures the duke's interest by proposing a deal: she will not expose his secrets if Noah agrees to act as her fiancé. Little does she know that getting involved with a duke who only shows his true colors around her may lead to more than she bargained for. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

I really liked watching this anime. I liked the male MC especially. The art was pretty nice too. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was the female MCs uncaring attitude towards the male MC. I’m sure that will get better next season though. Speaking of that, I’m definitely looking forward to watching the next season when it comes out. They made it clear that the story is definitely not finished yet with this season. I want to see actual romance progress between the male and female MCs so that it’s not so one-sided anymore. I am also interested in seeing how the story will progress overall. Overall, a really solid anime.

Right lets get into it, Our MC is isekai'd into the side character Raeliana from a novel she enjoyed, the only problem is that Raeliana is fated to die as that is what starts the story for the protagonists of the novel. Raeliana however seeks to push against this fate and use her knowledge of the story and her wits to avoid her intended end. So straight away yes, this is using several tropes that should be familiar to many who have watched these kinds of romance anime Reincarnation, uses other life knowledge to avoid bad end, gets involved with dark haired, brooding, intimidating, slightly sadistic, duke, where of cause romance starts to blossom. So yes there are some familiar tropes at play, but the reality is that didn't bother me, it did enough to try and keep things fresh, with one e…

I like the story and the close up art. The story itself is like any isekaid anime but it's my first time watching someone that get isekaid have family. The art is fitting for this anime, in some scene the art is really beautiful and just captivating, some close up shot is beautiful enough to be a wallpaper. I feel like the protagonist have that usual protagonist stuff, the naive, always see good in people but she also have the realistic thoughts once in a while that is refreshing to see. But when it come to the animations especially when they do a wide shot on the movement it's kinda wonky. For the first episode you would probably notice some movement that looked weird and then as the episode grow you noticed it even more. If you like a well animated anime you probably wouldn't like th…

I should preface this by saying that I normally wouldn’t give such a high rating to a genre that is so saturated and, unfortunately, often filled with low-budget anime. However, among the many recent reincarnation/romance anime, this is, in my opinion, one of the best and definitely worth watching. The characters, especially the protagonists, are not the usual bland, personality-less figures.. for once, he is not the typical weak, slightly dumb doormat, and she is not the perpetual damsel who whines because she isn’t the “main character” of the story. There are other interesting characters with potential as well, even though, as always, it’s difficult to fully develop them in genres like this, which focus mainly on the protagonists who, by divine grace, do not fall in love ten seconds aft…

I binged this in one sitting, I was hooked by episode 1. I was hoping that it would have a second season or at least a confirmation of one, but there is not. So I am reading the manhwa now. I really loved the art style and animation, though I will be honest there are some scenes that looked like they were drawn in about 10 minutes, but I hope if a season 2 happens, that it improves. I really enjoyed the characters of the main cast. Raeliana was phenomenal, I absolutely love a female lead that can be smart and cunning, even rude and demanding, without seeming like a tyrant. Noah was amazing to watch as he grew into himself and I loved watching him slowly open up to Raeliana. I fell in love with him just as much as he fell in love with his new Fiance. The dynamics between the two leads are s…

Overall, this story doesn't do much different than you'd expect of these type of isekai. She must change her game character's fate, and due to that different parts of the story change. There was some interesting points in how she got isekai'd and the ramifications of taking over another person's body, but my biggest problem with this show was the male lead. They rally push the "bad boy" angle here, and the main character being a "tsundere". She pretend to not actually like him, and he constantly does bad things to her in the vein of just "messing" with here, but it's okay since he's hot. Anyway, the plot did get interesting enough by the end I would probably watch another season, but it's probably not getting one. The relationship with the male lead was just too unbearable for me to reall…

Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion is a classical romance-driven fantasy with mystery elements by blending court intrigue, character dynamics, and self-aware storytelling. The story centers on Eunha Park, a modern young woman who suddenly finds herself reincarnated as Raeliana McMillan, a minor character in a novel who is fated to die early. Armed with knowledge of the story’s plot, Raeliana navigates her precarious new life in a noble estate and ultimately becoming entangled with Duke Noah Wynknight. Their relationship develops from cautious pragmatism into mutual trust, marked by humor, tension, and romantic undercurrents. The narrative thrives on character interplay and strategic maneuvering. Raeliana’s sharp wit, self-preservation instincts, and knowledge of her “fate” drive h…

i would say the quality of this anime is 8/10 subjectively, some choices like the background characters have shadow over their head bother me a little but that's fine. NOW if we're talking about the story there's nothing really special, it's typical but it's fun to follow. However, I don't really like the ending. There's a lot of question in my head when it ends and it doesn't feel like it concludes anything? It still has a lot of mystery but it seems there's not gonna be any continuation. It'll make sense to think of this anime as a promotion to the original source. On side notes, I like the opening and the ending for this anime. :)

Let's start by saying the manhwa was better. Now you may be wondering, "How could it be better if they followed the source material exactly in the adaptation?" Well, for one, the sound made the pacing so unbelievably awkward. At several points, I noticed moments of actual silence or sound effects (i.e. footsteps) with no background music. More than that, the background music didn't really match the show much at all. On a personal note, I wasn't a fan of the VA for Noah, but that's really neither here nor there. Also, compared to the manhwa, everything just felt awfully slow. Overall, it's not a bad introduction to the source material, but as a big fan, I just wish it was executed better.

Hi hello and welcome to yet another Isekai story! There are so SO many of these types of stories being released these days, and they range widely in quality from the absolute trashiest-trash to stories that betray expectations in the best ways. This one I'd say falls somewhere in the middle, and was a rather cute and a fun watch. It has quite a novel premise (heheh) that kept me interested in the overarching story. Though I'd say the story leans more towards being a wholesome slice of life rather then being very dramatic. To keep this spoiler free I'll just say that I really enjoyed the moments when the world diverges from the novel that the main character keeps refering to throughout the story. Now where this show really shines is in it's two main leads who have a fun dynamic. Here I'l…

Why Raeliana ended up at the duke's mansion actually surprised me for the best. The production was pretty poor and I expected an average story, but it was quite intriguing. The characters are interesting, the plot is good and the suspense of what's going to come doesn't let you stray too far from it and keeps you hooked. MC isn't completely useless but it's not perfect either, she's just a normal girl trying to survive. Chemistry between Raeliana and Noah is good (which for some reason seems to be an issue on some romance I've seen lately. I mean! Romance anime! Chemistry should be basic!) Honestly wish they would make more seasons of it. It's not an incredible romance or anything, but it fulfill it's purpose and does it better than most "average romance" anime that has been popping up…

The Reason Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion is very similar to "7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!" Its about a girl Rinko who is killed and gets reincarnated into a novel. She gets reincarnated as a character in the story Raeliana who is supposed to get murdered by her future husband. So to prevent this from happening she uses her knowledge of the story to break off from her current engagement to form a fake engagement with a handsome Duke. And of course predictably actual love sprouts. The story starts off pretty good. All the characters are fun an interesting. But at a certain point the anime kinda becomes about nothing. The characters become less likeable. A new supporting character gets introduced who over stays his welcom…

If there's romance i'm there for sure!!!! This show had me hooked from episode one i really enjoyed the story line and yes, it's not the most spectacular or the greatest romance but it definitely scratched my shoujo itch. I want to first talk about the character design, i really really really liked it especially the hair colour and eye colour matching i never noticed how well yellow eyes and black hair go together very very nicely. Every episode was its own story which i really enjoyed, no dragged-out scenes or what not. I also enjoyed the main leads dynamic, the teasing, the sass, the chemistry (not enough of it for me would have loved more scenes with them interacting but yeah) and the animation was lovely too. And yeah, what else is there to say if you like pretty characters, romance, a…

I need a second season of this! The isekai genre is used in a similar way like e.g. I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss. So if you don't like isekai or romance, this might not be for you. Otherwise, give it a try! What makes this version so enjoyable is our protagonist Raliana. Raeliana is a proactive character. She isn't miss perfect (stereotypical overly apollogetic, polite and passive) like your usual anime heroin. Rae isn't afraid to use strategy or sharp comments to get what she wants, and her character is appreciated by the characters you'd root for. Even though this anime wants to be light, feelgood entertainment (and is great at it!), it deems mentioning that there is a slight "she's so amazing" powertrip. Rae is awesome, but she is adored by almost every likeable ch…

I can't really tell what this anime was if it was bad or good or just something else While this anime didn't have any actually bad things that i can point out in this review, it also didn't have good things, for me this anime was really mid i can't tell watching this was a waste of time but neither i can tell it was well spent, so this review isn't for telling if you should watch or not, i think it's just to try to understand it, well the only advice i can give is to not expect a masterpiece (which i think no one will be expecting but who knows) neither to expect an bad anime, i have read other reviews on this and didn't found anything really conclusive so try it for yourself and take your own conclusions

I was pleasantly surprised with this anime, even though it did frustrate me in some parts. I liked the reincarnation part of this anime, especially because I thought it added to the main female protagonist and allowed us to understand her better. I thought the male protagonist was just so good looking and appealing in my opinion. I liked how the story was not as straight forward as you would assume it would be, and I liked the hints of romance here and there. I honestly wish their was more romance and spice in this, if there was I would have ranked it higher. Low spice level - if you like this anime watch 7th loop its similar but better

In my personal opinion, this anime was okay- not exceptional but not horrible. The animation looked quite rough at times. Especially in scenes where the camera was zoomed far out. Otherwise, I admire the lighting and the background track. The characters do follow a lot of character archetypes (Adam as the quiet one, Noah as the intelligent mastermind, Vivian as the villainess, etcera). It follows a reincarnation plot and takes place in what I like to call 'Faux-Europe'. It looks like a European country and has its own unique lore in small tidbits. I would recommend this anime as a past time.. none of these characters are remarkable enough to leave a lasting impression. Overall an astonishingly mediocre anime.

Kanojo ga Koushaku-tei ni Itta Riyuu is an Isekai anime with a reincarnation plot. I won't lie, reincarnation plots can get a bit repetitive after watching so many. However, this story felt more unique in terms of the depth of plot compared to others with similar storylines. The comedic and romantic elements of the show made the watch a cheery one, and I enjoyed watching it without having to think too deeply about what was happening on screen. It's a nice show to watch when you need a break from your life and want to delve into a different world for a while. Character-wise, you couldn't really say that the characterisation of each character was done amazingly. For example, the protagonist supposedly possesses a cunning, intelligent personality, but her intelligence is not portrayed well e…

Pretty unsatisfying ending... Thought itd have a conclusion but it didnt. I liked Taylor and thats about it. I wish they showed Beatrice more but they didnt Is the story unique? If it was predictable, did you enjoy it anyway because you like this genre/set-up? It was very predictable, I enjoyed it till it got super fucking boring. Wish they explored the plot more Do you think the art style is fitting for the story? Yeah, the style was nice but the animation wasnt eye catching Were the characters well-rounded? Did they have flaws and strengths, or were they unusually strong/smart/stupid? They were pretty forgettable Did the characters react to situations and events in a realistic way? I guess so?
