7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!

Introduction

Rishe Irmgard Weitzner finds herself in a familiar situation: her fiancé is publicly breaking off their engagement, and her ducal family is about to disown her in shame. However, Rishe is not distraught; she has already had six chances to rebuild her life and chase a different passion each time. But she would always get swept up in a war and die, so now she wishes for her seventh reincarnation to be easygoing and uneventful. What Rishe does not take into account is the presence of Arnold Hein, the crown prince of the Galkhein Kingdom. He is destined to usurp the throne and become a tyrant who starts a large-scale invasion of neighboring countries. To make their encounter worse, Arnold is the one who killed Rishe in her previous life. That is why it is all the more shocking when he proposes to Rishe on the spot. In pursuit of her desired life, Rishe must consider accepting Arnold's proposal and discover the reasons behind his brutal actions to stop the war from ever happening. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Mary-sue princess animes are great, if done with just the right edge, and this one can do this. I greatly appreciated the rare occurrence of actually nice looking, well designed Dresses in this princess anime, you can even see the crinoline and long underpants, as well as underskirts. The mens outfits as well are very pretty and unique. The environments were alright, the city had a sense to its layout, i even felt her overpowered skills made some sense- she wasn't the blessed saint, she learned all of these skills in her previous lives. Loved that the Prince killed her in the last reincarnation. Added just enough edge and tension so it wouldn't get boring. I GREATLY enjoyed the airbrush in the shading of the character's hair. Something you don't see that often these days, dark airbrush un…

Quite disappointing — it started off pretty well, but the storyline's progress was very predictable, especially once the time-loop premise settled into a familiar rhythm. The protagonist is the definition of a Mary Sue — she's skilled at everything from medicine to manipulation, and every character around her, including her former enemy, falls for her charm almost effortlessly, with little real conflict or personal flaw to balance it out. The art style and animation were also lacking, particularly in character's shading and the overall sub scene. If you like perfect princess who look perfect, has pink hair, can sword fight, can make medicine ,live in a perfect world, surrounded by perfect princes where every dicision can be made effortlessly without nuances, you might like this one. 4…

I actually enjoyed watching this anime. I loved the romantic tension between the male and female MC. The art was beautiful. I really liked how complex the male MC’s personality was. There were many times were I could barely tell if he actually cared about the female MC or not. The only thing I wasn’t really a fan of was the female MCs girl-boss personality. I wish she was a bit more humble. I understand she had it rough after having died several times over and the reincarnating, but still, I just wasn’t a huge fan of her personality tbh. I do like the show regardless though, and I’m looking forward to watching the next season.

I love time loops as plot points and I've been enjoying villainess anime recently, so I had high hopes for this. I ended up somewhat disappointed. The time loop is merely used as the overarching setting rather than a moment-to-moment plot beat. The protagonist lady is on her 7th loop for the entire series, with the previous loops just serving as background material on why she has her skills. I can't really fault the show for doing this since I'm not owed time loops in the way I want them, but I was still a bit let down regardless. This show has the usual advantages of villainess anime in that the protagonist is driven and non-whiny, which I enjoy. It also pulls off a limited version of power fantasy pretty darn well with the protagonist's past lives letting her build abilities that she…

I started the anime because it felt reminiscent of the reincarnation manhwa stories I usually enjoy. Based on that, I expected something fun. However, while the anime isn’t inherently bad, it ultimately feels unremarkable. A strong aspect of the series is its protagonist, Rishe. She is capable, experienced, and competent, which is reminiscent of typical villainess leads in manhwas. Her knowledge from past lives gives her an edge that is satisfying to watch, and it often drives the story forward. However, this strength is also where one of the show’s weaknesses begins to emerge. Things tend to work out almost too conveniently in her favor. Conflicts are often resolved with ease, which reduces tension and makes the narrative feel predictable. Instead of building suspense, the story leans int…

7th Loop fails where it most needs to succeed: the romance between the female (Rishe) and male (Arnold) leads. They have no chemistry, and their dynamic becomes annoying to watch at times. The plot isn't interesting enough to withstand the poor chemistry. An important thing to note, the title of the anime is clickbait. There is no lazing around by Rishe and she is not a villianess, in fact, she is very goody-two shoes and keeps herself exceedingly busy. And this isn't a crime in of itself, the crime is that the show dares to be... boring. Arnold is also quite boring and flat as a character. I was looking forward to some villiany on either ends, but I was sorely disappointed. In the beginning, it is interesting when you don't know quite what will happen, and then a repetitive cycle of bad…

**Score: 8/10** Time-loop stories often rely on repetition as their main gimmick, but 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy! avoids that trap by making each past life meaningful to the protagonist’s decisions in the present. Instead of resetting the story for drama, the anime builds its narrative around experience, strategy, and character dynamics. The strongest element of the show is undoubtedly Arnold Hein. While many series rely on the typical “cold prince” archetype, Arnold stands out because of how composed and calculating he is. His presence adds tension to almost every scene, especially given the knowledge that he was responsible for Rishe’s death in a previous timeline. The relationship between him and Rishe becomes the core of the story,…

Yet another Beauty and the Beast adaptation, aptly summed up in a single comment on the final episode: “I can fix him, the animation.” It truly is a show built upon a foundation of the “Hitler Just Needed a Hug” trope. Constantly recycling the plot device of introducing a character who’s truly heinous at first, but once our Practically Perfect in Every Way heroine understands them as they’ve never been understood before, they see the error of their ways and do a total 180 into a perfect good guy. Indeed, there is no such thing as evil; only people who are misunderstood. Sympathy for the devil, and all that. On that note, why exactly does the title call her the “Villainess??” At no point does she ever get portrayed as a villainess or even mislabeled by other characters as such. So, what’…

I was waiting for and expecting something more extreme to happen. It was a lot of small problems with quick resolves. I really wanted to know his “true intentions” behind asking her to be his wife. He had began to give reason but even that was left in the air. Was it truly just out of boredom? I thought that maybe he too was going through some type of time loop and they would end up having some type of challenge trying to figure each other out. While I loved this anime I hope that they have second season with more to the story than what was given.

7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy! Story 6/10: The only truth in this title is the 7th loop. Our FL is not a villainess and definitely doesn't understand what living carefree really means. The premise of a 7th time loop was quite well used in the story were she used her knowledge to adress her previous regrets. However, many other issues arise and get discussed but never explained, mentioned or remembered again making the story seem like a strainer of plot holes. The story may had much more potential but it feels like the author couldn't contain his many ideas into a 12 episodes so made the horrible choice of omitting none and just going with it. Characters 5/10: There really isn't much to work with, but my biggest regret is the ML, he was ma…

I love good regression stories. This isn't one of them. The premise of the show isn't bad. MC is on her 7th regression, and remembers all of her previous lives including the skills she's obtained. Despite her best efforts, death finds her yet again as the result of war caused by a foreign emperor. She's transported back to a painful moment she must relive for the 7th time and build her life from scratch. The show could've taken this in several different interesting directions. It doesn't. This has everything to do with the way the characters are written: more like characters in a game than actual people. How does it feel to lose the people you were once intimately close with again and again, only to meet them in your next life without them knowing you at all? What does it do to a person'…

“7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!” (RN-effing-Gesus, I hate this sort of long titles) is what happens when an interesting idea is held down by oversimplified surface level writing. Can someone please tell me how the hell Rishe (the MC) is a Villainess? She does absolutely nothing that would even be close to villainous. She is a walking embodiment of 4 cardinal virtues set by Plato (Prudence, Justice, Fortitude and Temperance), hell she even has most of the expanded list set by Aristotle ( Courage, Temperance, Generosity, Self-value, Magnanimity, Proper Ambition, Patience, Truthfulness, Wittiness, Friendliness, Modesty and Righteous indignation). Why the hell is “Villainess” used in the title as her description? She doesn’t fit the bill at al…

Exceedingly boring, girl says the most obvious things and is treated like some kind of saint 😭 It just seems to me like they had seven timelines to choose from and they went with the most boring one that focuses on the same three people every episode. She spent one of her lifetimes travelling the world and we get to be stuck in a villa inside of a castle instead, lovely. It's not like any of her past lives are relevant the vast majority of the time so I don't even know why they bothered with that plot if they weren't going to use it. This is also not a Villainess story, that is entirely false advertising lmao. She wasn't even a villainess in her original timeline, she was framed. Can we please be serious.

I had heard only good thing about it so I went in with high expectation and even then I was surprised by how good it is. Don't get discouraged by the long title ("7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!") that reeks of low-effort light novel, because it's anything but! First of: how would I describe it? It's a "enemies-to-lovers story" that takes place in a royal court between two betrothed, where both need to navigate real-world politics as the navigate their hearts'. The protagonist is amazing and is the absolute highlight of the series. She's intelligent, curious, resourceful, competent, beautiful and funny and still manages to be clumsy and endearing. Her chemistry with the male lead is a twist on the "cold, emotionless man and the damsel in d…

It is a solid and enjoyable anime with a compelling central concept: reliving one’s life multiple times. The “rewinding life” element is well-integrated into the plot and serves as a strong narrative foundation. The first six episodes stand out in particular. The introduction of the protagonist’s six previous lives is thoughtfully executed, allowing the viewer to form a connection with her past experiences and those around her, even if briefly. The storyline during this phase is well-paced and engaging, with the backdrop of a looming war effectively establishing the stakes and the reason behind the protagonist's repeated "reincarnations". However, after episode six, the pacing noticeably slows. The narrative shifts into more traditional shoujo genre, focusing heavily on the romantic rela…

✒➰➿♻ A Charmed Groundhog Life ♻➿➰ °7.9° °Excellent° 💯%🔍 some minor spoilers It opens grey and red. Grey castle. Grey weaponry. Grey skies with grey rain streaking down. Slashing the blanket of grey is red. Red roses and red blood are everywhere. Hein Arnold, the Emperor of Galkhein: He started the war. The defenders are like bunnies against him. They can't land a strike. Our narrator pierces his shoulder as s/he (is this person a woman or man?) passes into oblivion. “Next time.” Next time…. Then, Irmgard Weitzner Rishe is awake in an old, but new body, in an old, but new life. As if /she's/ a villainess, the crown prince is declaring her an unworthy woman and annulling their engagement. I really liked this anime, it reminded me a lot of Violet Evergarden, I loved the development of the story and the ending left me wanting more!! I really hope there's a sequel because there are a lot of open topics. I love this premise of time travel and parallel realities, it reminded me of a drama I watched and a book I read recently. But there's one thing that bothers me is that I seriously think Arnold is also traveling through time precisely to find her, and that all that other times he was looking for her, it doesn't make much sense for him to have fallen in love so much at first sight! And my God, I love his little brother, he's the best!! I really wish she would reveal to everyone that she already knew them from other lives. Anyway, I urgently need the sequel!!

A wonderful anime with solid production value and a great premise. I really just enjoyed Rishe’s personality and her outlook on the world. Each episode has solid pacing, but it’s annoying how she is great at everything even though the plot explains perfectly how that is the case. Solid heartfelt moments, the romance is good, and a good amount of pretty men so if that’s your thing then this anime is for you. Story was solid for a first season, but I feel that the more interesting levels are later on. The art style is solid and embraces the fantasy setting. The characters are good but there is room for development and improvement for many side characters. The situations for the plot are unique except when the main character becomes a blushing mess, but that is humorous most times. This is…

POV: a capable woman is babysitting 5 immature men in power who were too proud and never exited their edgy teen stage to visit a very much needed therapist. Main heroine, Rishe, is a refreshing character to spectate. Usually, kind and cheerful characters are portrayed as silly, but this time it is different. Rishe is able to maintain her amiability, while also having personal goals and a never-ending thirst for knowledge (wow, brains and kindness can co-exist). In no way, though, she is a villainess. Also, she is not even married yet. Also, her life is not so carefree. We got bamboozled x3 from the title alone. The love interest A.K.A. Prince Arnold is, unfortunately, a fetishized version of an edgy teenager who is portrayed perfect in every way and only has a soft spot for his beloved…

I found this an enjoyable watch. I liked the premise of the show, that the MC had been reincarnated multiple times as this gave an in-universe explanation for how smart, talented, and wise they were. I enjoyed seeing MC establish herself in this timeline and also the way she is shown to draw on past experiences to make certain decisions or uses her previously learned skills to succeed in different ways. Outside of MC and her fiancé only a few side characters get much development but when they do it is appreciated. The whole love angle and trying to turn her fiancé towards a brighter future than those of her previous lives is a respectable premise. The romance aspect of this show isn't really the part that interests me, but it was done well enough that it wasn't unpleasant or disruptive.…
