My Hero Academia Season 2

My Hero Academia Season 2

Introduction

At UA Academy, not even a violent attack can disrupt their most prestigious event: the school sports festival. Renowned across Japan, this festival is an opportunity for aspiring heroes to showcase their abilities, both to the public and potential recruiters. However, the path to glory is never easy, especially for Izuku Midoriya—whose quirk possesses great raw power but is also cripplingly inefficient. Pitted against his talented classmates, such as the fire and ice wielding Shouto Todoroki, Izuku must utilize his sharp wits and master his surroundings to achieve victory and prove to the world his worth. Fan service still continues. Deku finally got a little spotlight and improvements. Good thing there are additional interesting characters. Monoma, Hatsume, and Stain were great ones. Compared to the first season, this one is way better. We got to know more about the characters in the competitions. It was sad that Deku got defeated but reasonable since it was Shoto. Endeavour is annoying as hell, I wish he burns from his flames. Great fights with the characters. Uraraka put up a good show. The internships were also entertaining. I didn't know Bakugo in jeans and slick hair was all I need to laugh my ass off.

The second season continues the story of our young heroes. It kicks off with an explosive tournament arc, the so-called festival. We’re thrown right into the action—it was really exciting. As soon as the episode ended, I immediately wanted to start the next one. That was followed by what was probably the best arc of the season: the training and the encounter with the hero-killer. They did a great job developing Todoroki’s character and many others. They showed their relationships with their families, their personal dramas, and various interesting situations during the internship. The pacing was solid, and Deku got a small power-up. Gradually, we’re learning more and more about Deku’s power, its source, and the anime’s backstory. The final exam wasn’t that interesting, but it wrapped up the…

A season on par with the first, in some ways better, but there are several unnecessary episodes, although they do serve to delve deeper into the 20 students of Class A and a bit into the other classes. The first part, with the initial competition, is great, although I think it could have been better utilized to showcase other fights instead of focusing solely on a few. The part where the villains appear could have been a bit longer, but the fights are enjoyable, although the subplot with Iida felt a bit unnecessary; personally, I didn't like it, even though the villain who appears is one of the best of the season. Finally, the final battles, while useful for getting to know the students of Class A, felt boring to me. However, it does show how much they've grown in the first semester. Mid…

After giving this show 2 full seasons of chance I decided to drop it. The whole show is ruined for me by Deku's and Bakugo's dynamic which is a romanticized story about inducing cognitive dissonance within a bully through endless self sacrifice. This rarely ever happens in real life but is so prevalent in anime. It's used because it allows Horikoshi to have maximum contrast characters in his show that creates a high friction dynamic which instantly grabs attention. The infinite forgiveness of the mc allows the writer to keep a cool looking bully character around in the main cast without having to write a realistic socially messy reconciliation.

Well, to begin with, it's a season that improves on everything compared to its predecessor, having more development and giving more prominence to secondary characters. The problem is that if the season has more episodes, filler episodes disguised as development will follow. The positive points are that the characters, whether protagonist or secondary, are well-developed, the arcs are more dynamic and better structured than the first season, and they are even more epic. The sports festival is actually quite mid-level except for a couple of great moments, but Stain's performance is the best of the season. The bad thing is that they also forget about characters like All Might himself, who in the previous season had a super fight against a nomu, and in this one he hardly does anything in 25…

This was honestly an anime I didn’t want to touch at first. Everywhere I looked, there were spoilers. And when a few people told me it was “boring” or “not that good,” I was even less motivated to start it. But when I finally gave it a chance, I was pleasantly surprised. The animation is gorgeous (and trust me, I’m a huge critic when it comes to animation), the character relationships are so well‑built, and the overall story is just… perfect. It’s original, emotional, and full of moments that hit way harder than you expect. Sure, some people say it gets “boring” at times, but honestly? Even during the slower parts, I kept looking forward to the next episode. And the sequels? I was hyped every single time.

🔥🎌 The Plushie Crew Goes Plus Ultra! 🎌🔥 Season 2 had us hooked from start to finish! We watched it right after the OVA and wow — it leveled up in every way. The U.A. Sports Festival arc was insane! 💥 Winny and Willow loved the pacing and emotional storytelling, while Mimikyu and Amy were totally pulled into the character arcs, especially Todoroki and Uraraka. 😭✨ Tails was all in for the smart fights and strategy moments (his favs!), while Kuromi and Sunny vibed with the animation and that fire OST. 🎶🌈 Sonic and Knuckles were pure hype every episode — fists clenched, eyes wide. 💪⚡ Even Shadow, quiet as ever, said the story “finally hit its stride.” 👊🖤 From explosive fights to deeper themes of identity and heroism, this season had everything. Deku’s crying? Still there 😅... bu…

This season really had me locked in. I don’t know what it is about My Hero Academia, but once I start, I just keep clicking “next episode” like I’m under some kind of quirk myself. Compared to Season 1, the pacing and story flow felt way more refined — like the show finally found its footing. One of the biggest improvements for me was that they started showing more backstories, even if it was just for some of the characters. I mean, I’ve always been curious about the side characters, and it was nice to finally see more than just the surface-level stuff. Getting even a little glimpse of what shaped them made me connect more to what was going on. The tournament arc? Definitely entertaining — the battles were great, and the intensity kept building. But I gotta say... something about the who…

If you liked Season 1, you would have loved Season 2, which featured more epic battles, distinctive unique traits, and heartbreaking moments. It deepened character development and increased the action. In this season, the Class 1-A cast shined even brighter. Izuku "Deku" Midoriya grew as a hero, becoming more tactical and confident in combat. Bakugo's fierce hostility with Deku intensified, causing us to feel empathy for him. Shoto Todoroki, a new student with half-cold, half-hot abilities and complicated family concerns, provided intrigue as both a teammate and an opponent. Side characters such as Momo Yaoyorozu, Iida, and Mineta demonstrated their development, emphasizing that everyone experienced significant growth. The show's visual design was enhanced by dramatic shading and dynamic…

This is the best season of Boku no Hero Academia in my opinion. This might also be the best tournament arc in shounen, unless something really good is slipping my mind. I would like to explain exactly what made me love this season so much. The characters. The introduction of my favorite BNHA character, Todoroki Enji aka Endeavor! Oh I fucking love Endeavor! The best written character in this whole series by a country mile. This season doesn’t complete his story but it sets up his downfall and redemption so wonderfully. Best boi Shinso was introduced and he still brings me to tears even after watching this season over 30 times. The voice acting, the directing, the set up and the flitting, cursory backstory that leaves you wanting a continuation for him. The lack of expectations for his…

This is most probably my favorite MHA season, since this was the time, they started to do 25 episodes they also started to do that shitty one half good the other half bad thing where one part has fast pacing action and story the other part is just slow boring slop but the one part is really good. The animation here is really good especially with the action, the one scene where Midoriya fights Todoroki is done so well everybody would like it the animation is so well done which is paired such epic the scene is just pure thrills

5/10 ~ Certainly worse then S1 This is the 2nd time ive attempted to watch MHA and I watched through part of Season 3 the first time around as it was coming out and dropped the show because it wasnt very good. I am however in a weird situation where I need mid anime to watch to pass the time at work that is not too distracting and this show certainly checks that box. If you got Through Season 1 then you will probably disagree with me and just continue on, to each their own. Pros: - As I recall Stain in the best thing about MHA, I Really wish he got more screen time in S2 - Action is fine, but im not the biggest action person so it just kinda feels like why am I here? - English Dub good - Jokes are humorous enough but a step down from S1 / Over used at this point Cons: - The tournament…

The second season offers significant character development for both the main protagonists—Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki—and supporting characters like Tenya Iida and Momo Yaoyorozu. Viewers gain a deeper understanding of each character's background and motivations. The season features impressive animation quality, showcasing action and battles with stunning visual effects and dynamic choreography, particularly during the sports festival and the Pro Hero Arc. The two primary arcs in this season, the sports festival and the Pro Hero Arc present both touching and intense narratives. The sports festival highlights heroic and competitive moments, while the Pro Hero Arc introduces a more serious and dangerous conflict. Building on the experience from the first season, there…

MHA's second season is pretty awesome, although, it didn't pierce my heart as sharply as the first season did. I think it might be the length of the season. I believe this season was so long, it could have been two seasons, but I sort of see why it wasn't done that way. The second act of this season isn't as large or explosive as the first, save for that disturbing cliffhanger of a final episode. All the intense and climactic parts are still awesome and inspiring, and the music behind these scenes really elevate the experience. The art style could be said to be standard, yet highly professional. It's going to be exciting to see how Midoriya grows, so he can be the hero he truly wants to be!

My Hero Academia Season 2 offers a solid and enjoyable experience with a rating of 7/10. While it doesn't quite reach the legendary status of Naruto, it still stands out as a good shounen anime with its gripping story, well-developed characters, and impressive animation. The plot delves into deeper themes and explores moral dilemmas, which adds depth to the overall narrative. The character development is commendable, allowing both main and supporting characters to shine and evolve throughout the season. Although the animation and art style are impressive, they might not reach the same level as some top-tier shows like Naruto. However, the fight scenes are still engaging and visually appealing. My Hero Academia Season 2 provides plenty of excitement with its tournament arc and compelling…

Part 1 English Part 2 Bahasa Indonesia -------------------------------------- Well, well, well, what do we have here? It's the second season of Boku no hero academia, an anime that's like a superhero movie on steroids! The story is as classic as a James Bond film, with our hero Izuku Midoriya trying to become the next big superhero. And let me tell you, the action is as exciting as a drag race down the highway. The art style is crisp and clean, like a brand new car. The colors pop like fireworks on the new year event, and the animation is as smooth as a silk scarf blowing in the wind. The main character, Izuku, is like a modern-day Clark Kent, with his nerdy demeanor and ultimate goal of being a hero. You can't help but root for him as he goes through his journey. The voice over work…

If you're like me the first season was a bit slow but I will still loved it and was hoping for more. Now THIS is where things get interesting. The classic Shonen "Tournament to introduce lots of characters" arc starts this off and it is FANTASTIC. I already loved all these funky little students but this season just made me love them all even more. Getting to know more about them and watching the growth they make in this season is wonderful. The stakes are raised 10 fold in the best way possible. I know it's only going to get better from here :)

My Hero Academia 2nd Season This is without a doubt the ONLY season of MHA that stood out from the rest. Not only did this one have relatively fast pacing, but also a lot of character screentime and content. Starting with being introduced more and more into the world of MHA, you also get to know the school system and also realistic aspects of the hero world. How much their appearance and image will be important in the future and how hero politics works. In the sports festival, the strengths, weaknesses, and motivations of many characters are taken and put into very entertaining fights and games. At the same time, the second half gets a bit darker and is again about the Villains League and an assassin who targets hypocritical heroes. This again provides a relatively interesting and crit…
