This felt less like an anime finale and more like the end of a journey I had been following for years.
The story brings almost everything together, with the characters finally facing the consequences of everything that has happened. What I liked most was that the ending focuses as much on the characters and their relationships as it does on the huge conflict.
Eren's character reaches its most complicated point here, and I liked that the series doesn't give everyone an easy answer or a completely clean ending. The characters have made mistakes, lost people and changed so much since Season 1, so seeing them reach this point felt genuinely emotional.
The animation, music and action are all impressive, but some of my favorite moments are actually the quieter conversations. They give the cha…

Attack on Titan is the greatest anime and TV show I have ever watched, period. Everything in this anime is nearly perfect. The characters, emotions, world building and the storytelling is absolutely flawless. Attack on Titan is kind of a fantasy representation of the real world if you see in a different lens. Hats off to Hajime Isayama for his brilliant storytelling and the depth he has gone to bring out the real essence in the story. A story that will evoke emotions that you never thought it would and a story that will linger with you long after you have watched it.

I will avoid spoilers in this review to make it more accessible.
The last seasons of Attack on Titan are quite controversial. And while I definitely enjoyed the entire series, it definitely has some noticeable weaknesses. One weakness is the exaggerated portrayal of character relationships. Mikasa’s attachment to Eren is extremely intense: she consistently prioritizes him over her own life, and rarely shows goals or motivations independent of him. While obsessive love can exist in real life, the extent of Mikasa’s fixation sometimes makes her seem more like a plot device than a fully autonomous character. Eren’s responses to Mikasa are also unusual. Throughout most of the story, he remains very emotionally closed off. While holding back emotions makes sense for soldiers in war settings,…

Truly an amazing journey. I’m still mourning having finished it already, but watching this for the first time was such an incredible feeling. Season 4, for me, takes the cake. So much happens but it’s all paced so well.
I think this show does the best job at showing that there aren’t really any villains. Even if you don’t agree with the actions that someone pursues, you can at least understand WHY they do what they do.
Also, the way the characters were written and developed was so, so well done. I think it’s most noticeable in characters like Jean or Reiner. Even the characters I didn’t think I’d care much for or even the ones I disliked were written so good that I understood them and grew to feel sympathetic towards them more as the show went on. Each character symbolizes something. An…

Personally, I thought it was sensational, even though the story changed course and this work transformed over time, causing me a slight strangeness, with a hint of amazement. I loved the character development, especially Eren's.
In the end, we learn that the tough Eren was just a fragile shell, hiding his true self: the same whiny, kind Eren as always. The one we are introduced to at the beginning of the story. Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) is the kind of work that will divide its fans, between those who will like it and those who won't.
But it's not always possible to please everyone. I have a great fondness for Isayama's work, and for the trajectory and construction of Shingeki as a whole, I am satisfied with what was presented to me. Although I feel there are some contradicti…

I have watched the final chapters of AoT and here is my review about it (It's a very divisive ending among fans but I am going to rant and review about the ending from my perspective, please don't get mad at me AoT fanboys. It's my opinion and don't come crying to my profile and threatening me for writing such review like this):
Eren's motivation is unclear. The reason why it's unclear is because he is contradictory to his statements. Eren stated in earlier seasons that he is a free human being but ends up becoming a slave to the future fate. It just stays unclear and don't ask me why. Did you notice that in earlier seasons that he hates Tyranny? He ends up becoming one. Eren Yeager is the most obnoxious, paradoxical and contradictory character I've ever seen. I'm sorry to say but AoT's e…

I finished the finale movies and just sat there in silence for a long time. No phone. No rewinding. No instant reaction post. Just silence. That kind of silence you get when something has taken a permanent seat inside your chest. Attack on Titan is not just an anime I watched. It is something I lived with for years. From Season 1 all the way through Season 4, OVAs included, and now these finale movies, it feels like saying goodbye to a part of my own life.
I genuinely believe that even if someone asks me in 2070 or 2080, when I am old and about to leave this world, I will still say that Attack on Titan was one of the greatest things that ever happened to me. After watching 200 plus anime, AOT still stands at my Top 1 and I do not see that ever chan…

These last couple episodes in the series really hit hard. Seriously, Attack on Titan is one of the best anime ever created. Everything we've been presented with, every question we've ever had... it all comes around full circle here. If you had any confusion about anything at this point, these episodes should make everything clear. While things get weird, twisted, and a little "deus ex machina"-y, everything clicks together in a very understandable way.
Things were always bloody and horrific since day 1, but this just shows it was always going to get worse. That's why this climax really works; it's the peak of everything. Not much anime out can do what AoT does.
This little nugget of content, being two rather long specials, is peak anime. Seriously. Do not miss out on AoT. It's seriousl…

First, I want to clarify that this review covers the entirety of Attack on Titan Season 4. I’m not a hardcore fan, so if you are, you might disagree with my perspective.
Overall, Season 4 story retains some positives, such as coherent connections to the previous seasons, and it serves as a reasonably satisfying conclusion for the series. However, the build-up to the climax and the ending itself have several issues.
Mikasa’s character could have been a brilliant medium for Ymir to reflect on herself, but in reality, it feels rather loose. The idea of a slave “falling in love” with the king, her oppressor, is both illogical and uncomfortable.
The biggest weakness is the ending: when Mikasa kills Eren, Ymir is freed and the Titans disappear without any logical explanation. The entire seque…

After neglecting anime for so long, I finally convinced myself to watch Attack on Titan. I never thought a show could put me in straight disbelief on how perfect this masterpiece really is, the deep connections with every character the flaws in them, the music, the story and its constant violence and hatred between humans to accomplish freedom, the twist and turns on the plot. After about a month since watching it I still think about it everyday. Every time a song from the soundtrack comes on it reminds me how happy I am I’ve now watched this and sad 🥲 Attack on Titan really changed the perspective of my views on anime's. It has also changed me a lot, I’ll will never forget I genuinely cried for 12mins to this masterpiece. Thank you Japanese people.

Like everyone else, I will use this review to express all my feelings about the entire anime. Firstly, I have never been a big fan of AoT, I always found it confusing how every season it seemingly felt like another show, again and again and again. Which was pretty spot on when season 4 started.
So season 1 is pretty incredible, a solid foundation of an innovative and creative idea, a civilization surrounded by giant walls. Incredible fights, with incredible animation, with spot on music on the best moments.
The problem is that all the promises the show had were piggybagged into the basement for 3 straight seasons, 58 episodes with the basement being the promise thing to explain it all, the death of erwin and everything that happened up to that point all rested on the basement, and the o…

Two words - CERTIFIED MASTERPIECE
and if you want two more - ABSOLUTE CINEMA
Attack on Titan is, without a doubt, one of the best anime experiences I’ve ever had, if not THE BEST. From the very first episode to the final moments, it kept me completely hooked. The story is gripping, full of mystery, action, and emotion, and every twist had me on the edge of my seat. The characters felt real and their struggles hit hard, making the entire journey unforgettable.
I especially loved the ending—it tied everything together beautifully and left me feeling satisfied. Every arc built up to that conclusion in a way that felt meaningful and powerful. The mix of breathtaking animation, emotional storytelling, and intense battles made every bit of this anime something I truly loved.

-just to be clear, I binged the whole series in less than a week, and I didn't watch earlier seasons as they were coming out-
this isn't going to be very in-depth, but although this ending to the series wasn't ideal, it was done in such a way that I don't mind all too much. To be clear I never cry. Like ever (as a girl, crazy I know) but I full on sobbed a grand total of 3 times within just the last episode. It's very emotional, and it is done very well. (Somehow made me forget all the depression, trauma, and nightmare fuel that the rest of this show is filled to the brim with) I quite literally had to question everything, and despite this, I never would've guessed the ending, and how it went down. high-key heartbroken rn
also team Mikasa for life, she's my girlypop

It was a fantastic series from beginning to end, and it crossed some things that Death Note didn't dare to do, but the fact is similar, yet one did what the other didn't and that was to protect something.
I read a lot about how horrible the ending was, but a few words about it:
No matter how I look at it, Eren won:
3 reasons, he defeated his (main) enemy and his closest allies, he protected his people and friends, and with his death the one who was responsible for this rumbling or this war died, so they couldn't hold anyone responsible!
The next war happened after 100 and 1000, which has nothing to do with Eren or his people!
So Eren won, whether the story ended like that, or if rumbling had gone all the way through the world!
It doesn't matter which ending it would have been, and I…

t is a fitting ending for the series, both in its positives and negatives.
The plot still remained contrived, with many events and character actions clearly serving to push the story in exactly the direction the author wanted. Regardless, it retained some of the positive momentum carried over from the previous season, including narrative causality and coherence.
The story itself was fairly predictable, which took some emotional weight out of the action scenes, as it was often obvious who would live and who would die. Still, the emotional payoffs were there, they were built upon the foundation of the previous four seasons, and many of those arcs culminated in the finale.
It wasn’t anything exceptional, but it maintained the lukewarm quality the show had established since the beginning. A…

There are many, many misconceptions about Attack on Titan rampant in online spaces, these misconceptions are generally what fuels the unjust hate on the ending.
And today I'm gonna address them, with a (mostly) objective look in the story's talking points, and interviews.
1. Eren didn't care for Mikasa until s4. Thefore Eremika is forced.
We first need to know the difference between >YOU< not liking a plot point, and the story not diving into it. You can not like Eremika's story and dynamic, but saying it didn't exist until s4 is ignorance.
For example early in the series, there's this scene where Eren says how much Mikasa should join the MPs because she will get special treatment (episode 4). Not wanting her to join the survey corps because it's dangerous. Despite giving shit to Jean e…

Finally, the real “season finale”!
First of all, I wanted to express my happiness that this time it really is the final part, because I’ve been fooled many times by this whole season finale thing. Anyway, about this movie that adapts the final part of the Shingeki manga, I have a few things to say. First, I haven’t read the manga, so my opinion is based only on what I saw in the animated version. With that, I can say that I really liked the ending of the work. There were many plot twists leading up to this moment, and even though I found the last plot twist a bit boring, it still seemed like something that was very coherent with the plot.
The animation was really good, I thought the look of the Titans was really cool to see (especially Eren). I thought it was incredible how they managed…

i write this review because i cant get over how great this anime is. i think like 8 years ago i watched the first season of attack on titan and i dropped because i feel it is kinda boring, later on i pick it up again and watched until season 2 then i dropped again. But then, i finish the ongoing series. And finally, i finished the whole anime. I just wanna say that this anime is a super duper masterpiece and i do really think it is one of a kind. The world building is just on another level and i can only feel this kinda world building inside attack on titan. The character also great. Maybe some of yall doesn't like Eren, but for me, he is one of the best written character. In the first half of the series i really don't like Eren because i think he's just a mainstream MC who just love peace…

(Overall experience ∞/10)
.
I am very thankful to "Hajime Isayama" for giving us such a masterpiece. Everything in Attack on Titan was nearly flawless: the storyline was gripping and unpredictable, the animation quality stayed top-tier throughout, and the soundtrack amplified the intensity of every scene. After watching many anime, I can confidently say this is my favorite of all time.
(Character development 10/10)
.
What stood out to me the most was the incredible character development—not just of the main cast, but even of side characters like "Floch". His transformation and role in the final arcs added so much depth and realism.
(Ending 10000/10)
.
The ending was controversial to some, but in my opinion, it was the only fitting conclusion. Given the circumstances and the buildup, I be…

I will keep this relatively brief.
I absolutely adored the first 3 seasons of Attack on Titan. I thought it had a lot of spirit and atmosphere, and it made waves among the anime world, and justifiably so. However starting at the final season things really just started to go down hill. The art style was completely changed because of a change in companies and instead of keeping things faithful they decided to abandon it for something that was worse quality. This include worse usage of CGI than in prior seasons. Similarly, the animation quality dropped off between the third and final seasons. The soundtrack fails to have some of the subtly and variety of the previous shows and prefers to be more "In your face" almost all the time. The OP and Endings at this point have tried to copy the succe…
