The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made

The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made

Introduction

One day, a man claiming to be a god suddenly hacks a certain school's intercoms, ordering all of its students to team up and prepare to be transported to another world. There, they will be given special skills in the hopes that they become that world's heroes and defeat the Demon King that ravages the land. The initial transfer is a success. However, Seiichi Hiiragi, who suffers from his classmates' constant bullying due to his somewhat undesirable appearance, is left behind as no one is willing to be his teammate. Nevertheless, the self-proclaimed god decides to send Seiichi to the parallel world and lets him join his peers. Unfortunately, this fateful ordeal causes Seiichi to arrive at a location deep in the forest, far not only from his schoolmates but from human civilization as well. Desperately searching for a way to change his predicament, Seiichi's miserable days only seem to continue to worsen. Yet when all hope seems lost, Seiichi discovers a strange fruit known as the "Fruit of Evolution"—which may be his first step toward a significantly better future. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Shinka no Mi: The Fruit of Evolution ; is a low budget anime with a lot of high comedy Isekai ; a guility pleasure anime with high humor. Pro : - It is a pure brain-off entertainment ; where you want mindless, fast-paced absurdity where an overweight bullied teen eats magic fruit, becomes overpowered, and gains a harem - Progression is very good paced ; actually it is very fast paced that some people might struggle to keep up ; so fast that the main character, Seiichi, doesn't waste time getting strong; he spirals into god-tier stats almost immediately through sheer comedic escalation. Cons: - Unfortunately it is low-budget production , the animation is stiff, combat choreography is practically nonexistent, and it relies heavily on close-ups and cheap camera tricks to hide poor quality…

I’m not gonna lie—it’s bad. So bad that it actually ends up being funny. Our fat loser MC becomes ultra-OP in minutes, gains every broken skill imaginable, suddenly looks like a model, and somehow every girl (and even animals) magically turn into cute anime waifus for him. Like… what is even going on here? The “story”? If you can even call it that. It’s bland, directionless, and feels like it’s just making things up as it goes. Depth or world-building? Forget it. Meaningful romance or actual emotions? Nope, not here—who needs that anyway? Artstyle-wise, it’s mediocre. Sure, some of the girls are drawn with extra detail in very specific places, but that’s typical for shows leaning into ecchi. Nothing special beyond that. Overall: I don’t think anyone will get much out of this anime besid…

There are so many issues with this show to be discussed. Let me say this: If you are looking for Isekai slop with an OP MC and insane powerscaling for only him, where he collects a harem of women, then while this show technically meets your standards, there are so many better options for you to consider. I don't strictly suggest you avoid this show, but I will get into the various crucial factors that make this show unbearably boring. Firstly, all of the characters are extremely bland and fall into tropes that have been run through without any exploration or interest. The only thing that can be said in this shows favor on this front is the sadistic guild receptionist and exhibitionist guildmembers. This is the only bit of halfway decent comedy in the entire show and it gets old fast when…

This show is so funny—I was laughing so hard my stomach hurt! I don’t get why so many people hate on it because, honestly? I had a blast watching. It never got boring, and it was the perfect escape when I just needed to shut off my brain for a while. And sometimes, that’s all I want from a show! Look, it’s not some deep, mind-blowing masterpiece. You’ll see every joke and plot twist coming from a mile away. But hey, who cares? I’ve quit tons of shows like this before, but for some reason, I couldn’t stop watching this one. It just… worked for me. It’s light, silly, cheesy in the best way, and just plain fun. If you’re looking for something easy to binge without overthinking it, I’d totally recommend giving it a shot—just don’t expect anything life-changing. And hey, I wouldn’t say no to…

'The Fruit of Evolution' is allegedly an anime television series based off a light novel of the same name, but personally, I take issue with this dubious origin story. In 1969, Adam Levine published a notoriously controversial text — one that, without doubt, had a substantial impact on perceptions of religion, morality, media censorship, and even on the very substrata of modern culture. There are many factors attributed to our divergence from faith, but none can as succinctly elucidate this drift as a question I asked myself as a child — and one that many people have pondered upon: "Why?" Why? Why am I being told this? For what purpose, and with what explanation? Clearly, the author of this series had similar thoughts. Only a blind man could create something so profoundly devoid of lig…

Review: Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei TLDR: I expected very little and was positively surprised. While the animation is lacklustre, I would recommend the series as a B-Tier anime. ... that is, up until ep 8, from there on it goes downhill fast. Also, don’t watch the previews, they spoil a lot. NOTE: Most of the review below is only applicable up until episode 8-ish. for an episode 8-12 review, scroll down to the bottom. --Enjoyment-- 7/10 It is enjoyable, the funny parts are actually fun. It leans towards being a gag-comedy; Events takes unexpected turns and seemingly one-shot characters have unexpected dept. Even when the gags fall flat, their novelty is still appreciated --Story and Pacing-- 4/10 The overall plot is simple, but cohesive. Despite the OP isekai protago…

I don't wanna hear that name again. There is just one things to say about this anime.. IT'S THE WORST ISEKAI EVER CREATED. Don't waste time and don't watch it. Maybe you'll be able to endure the first season but if you watch the season two as well, that's mean you're probably a masochist Story very average, animation is quite bad, those character are discusting to me cause they seem like a bad dad joke At least if you wanna see a good parodic show, then watch Konosuba or The eminence in Shadow, it's way better than this piece of sh*t

If you treat this as a light hearted parody of the isekai genre it's honestly bloody fantastic. It's not a serious show, it doesn't try to be one. It's a bit of light fluff that is making fun of itself and the genre it's in. To the point where the MC is complaining that he doesn't want to be more OP! The show will of course have it's haters who were looking for a serious self-insert protag. But this isn't the sort of show they were looking for. The art is almost deliberately cheesy at times, reminds me a bit of whoever animated Toriko, (It's not that I don't think, but I can see some stylistic influences here and there.) Honestly If you liked the "Airplane/Flying High" type stuff from the 80s, and like anime, and are aware of all the isekai tropes, you may enjoy this. If you're looking f…

This seems like a loser made a Dnd campaign and wrote fun locations with sad backstories for every named monster. Though they had no friends because they are a loser so the author wrote them selves as a self insert into their campaign. Its a great train wreck. This is extremely boring for an OP protagonist anime. pwotagonist could trip on a rock and become an earth bender, he could sneeze with his mouth open, and any woman who gets spit on them won't be able to talk about anything other then the pwotagonists sperm. The pwotagonist could sit next to any man and they will either immediately respect him for the stupid expression on his face or envy him for the one other facial expression the animator knows how to draw.

I have never written a review before but it seemed like now I have to since I have seen all these bad recommendations eho don't seem to understand this show. This show is a PARODY show. It's quiet easy to notice that this Anime is making fuun of the Isekai Genre and doesn't take itself all too serious. The main character is really self aware and often talks straight to the viewers. If you are searching for a comedic fun show- this is the one. The second season makes it even more obvious that this is a Parody, with the addition of Jojo's references and other anime references. Please don't skip out on this hilarious Isekka!

Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei" is an isekai anime that, while showing some potential in its narrative and character development, ultimately falls short of delivering a memorable and compelling story. The characters, while diverse in their appearances, lack the necessary depth and complexity to make them truly stand out. It feels as though the potential of the series was left untapped, with a superficial and mediocre execution that fails to deliver a truly captivating experience. While I cannot say that I recommend this series, I will acknowledge that there are viewers who may find enjoyment in its premise and execution. However, I caution that those expecting a deep and engaging plot or any significant plot twists will likely be disappointed. If one is seeking a casual v…

On paper, it sounds like a typical Isekai Ecchi Harem anime. Usually these end up pretty trashy and bland, but I found myself enjoying it. MC is the typical loser who gets isekai'd, along with his schoolmates, and becomes the OP hero kind of character, but he doesn't seem as generic or bland as the majority of these characters turn out to be. He is separated from the others and is given an extra, special skill due to the "god"(or whatever force isekai'd them) feeling bad for him and then he essentially develops a harem through mostly happenstance. The other characters are fairly well-developed, apart from the other "main" schoolmates who only get a handful of scenes about what's going on with them. I don't even know their names or how to relate to the MC. They seem to be concerned he go…

The jokes in anime really aren't for just anyone. It even feels like Circle Jokes. If you're not in the circle, you're just a freak. Then the story setting is very bad, not properly directed, and unimportant. You may have seen people tell a story about a film, then the audience felt that they had watched the film. Of course we know they don't really understand the film. But if someone tells this anime like that, you can agree that the listener has watched the anime. You will find it difficult to distinguish between those who have actually watched the anime and those who have not watched it live. But if asked to rank the 10 worst isekai anime of the year, and this anime is in the nomination, it might be in 9th place, but that doesn't mean it's an achievement.

just wanna say like.. i love this show's attitude about polyamory that mostly comes up in episode 6. sets it apart from other op af mc stupid isekai. i also laughed a lot. 9 is probably overrating the show but it made me happy. i'm really kinda excited to see what they did with the next season because it's hard for him to get more insanely op than he already is in ep 12, but i guess he has to go fix things for the rest of the class. idk, i fell off this by accident while it was running, and knowing a new season was on, i rewatched the half season i'd seen and powered through to the end in 2 nights. i kept asking myself why i stopped watching, it's a pretty fun show. the art isn't great/standout but it works. the ed is a banger animated with a lot of gaming refs, op is ok too. i don't rl…

its fine, don't get worked up about it. This seems like its mocking other isekai anime, you can feel that right away. idc, its whatever it feels like some generic spit out anime, I watched it just to watch something, it wasn't the most trashy trash, but it wasn't the tastiest trash either. If you enjoy stuff that doesn't make your brain work at all, then you should most definitely watch this, I highly recommend this for you dudes. Its no slideshow, more like a show made with slides n other stuff I gotta fill some space soooo Is the story unique? If it was predictable, did you enjoy it anyway because you like this genre/set-up? Do you think the art style is fitting for the story? Were the characters well-rounded? Did they have flaws and strengths, or were they unusually strong/smart/st…

This anime was alright, albeit it steeps heavily on the comedy side. The MC basically follows the trope of OP MCs in anime, so if that's your forte then you can be rest assured that it's fine. This also being a harem anime might hit your knockers if that's what you're into as well. This is a pretty average show, it's okay story-wise and might get a 2nd season. Honestly, I kind of hope so since the show does leave more unsaid for the sake of developing the main characters and story. That said, I look forward to the show's continuation in hopes that it'll be worth it. Gonna hold out hope that it'll get better with time.

I'll be honest, I enjoyed this anime way more than "The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2" garbage. Look, most Isekai shows are bad. But you can tell when the director and writer is having fun with it and when it's just designed to be a show to rake in some sales without having any heart. At-least this anime knew it was trash and rolled with it, having fun till the end. Premise of an OP MC isn't anything new but most anime seem to find it hard to put a spin on it. Fruit of Evolution just kept rolling with one nonsense after another, almost like it was parodying other Isekai anime out there, probably why I never got tired of watching it. Art is.. bad, but serviceable. Audio is.. generic, but gets the job done. Characters are fun, which is why I kept watching it despite other issues. It…

'The Fruit of Evolution' is surprisingly enjoyable: it's light-hearted fun in a fantasy world that knows when to use an anime trope and when to subvert it. You'll laugh at the joke, and you'll laugh that they even made the joke. I think it has a lot of heart, and it might surprise you more than once with a serious moment. But the show doesn't really find its footing until episode two, so you have to give it a chance; you can probably give up if you're not having a good time by the end of episode six (which is delightful). The competent storytelling may come as a relief to fans of fantasy and romantic comedy. The characters behave consistently. The jokes land. The serious moments don't contradict the levity. There's no time-wasting tournament arc. The story keeps moving forward at an appro…

I won't lie, this anime is pretty trashy. It's a typical ecchi harem isekai, but man, it made me laugh a lot. It's bad but in a good way. A lot of the developments are so dumb that they make my brain hurt. The show is very self aware and knows that it's trash but makes the most out of it; pretty much just about every moment of the show is excellent meme material. Overall it wouldn't win any awards but as long as you keep an open mind and don't take it too seriously (or actually, don't take it seriously at all), it's a nice enjoyable little guilty pleasure comedy that isn't a complete waste of time unlike a lot of other trashy isekai.

Alright, I see all these people calling this show garbage, and I can't really blame them, but for personal preference I disagree, for one main reason. I enjoyed it well enough. This season is kind of disappointing since it's just a collection of the main bulk of hopeless romantic or silly harem members for the show. I spent the whole season waiting for him to meet back up with his classmates to show them what for. You see, in these shows, what really matters are reactions. Isekais are mostly self insert focused shows where the main character isn't too difficult to get inside the head of for the audience, that way it's for easy for the audience to feel like they're the hero of fantasy world with cool powers. Because of that, people love seeing reactions, they want to see people get surpri…
