Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou, Murabito A ni Tensei suru — My Review
The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody has an interesting concept and a surprising amount of potential, but the anime suffers from one major problem: its pacing feels too rushed.
The core idea is strong. Following the story of the world's most powerful Demon Lord, Varvatos, who reincarnates in the future in the hope of living a normal life, creates a solid foundation for both comedy and fantasy. The story also has the potential to explore the consequences of overwhelming power, loneliness, reincarnation, and the changes that occur in the world after the fall of a legendary ruler.
However, while watching the first season, I often felt that parts of the story were missing or skipped. Some events happen too qui…

Looks cool and interesting.
The beginning was mid-gauge unexpected but then took a turn to funny with that ordeal, switching to school slice-of-ife was nice.
The action bits were cool although short it didn't feel bad.
I feel kind of betrayed at the ending but I guess it met it's quota.
It feels like the author got too creative and decided on a peculiar finish.
It does feel peculiar to have it set up this way.
The laws that make up this world have a strange way of doing things.
Added bonus to the fantasy theme is there's no mention of RPG stuff and the spells are all spoken in Japanese.
How refreshing!

This showed hints of promise but it mostly fails to capitalize on it.
It's an isekai with a very OP protagonist. For the first several episodes it's pure trope: assembling the harem, and having them gush over the protagonist while he remains a steadfast volcel. I can sometimes be a fan of the haremy stuff, but it's a bit too trite here. On the other hand, the power fantasy setup is actually quite interesting since the MC reincarnates into the same world as the one he was a badass in, with all his previous associates still alive and kicking. This gives an interesting setup where he has to try to evade detection from his past life, which creates a fun excuse for social concealment. This show plays with the idea somewhat but never really commits to it, which is unfortunate.

It starts off promising.
Unfortunately it has a checklist of cliches.
Overpowered boy in magic school. He gets the lowest score on the test. There is a duel with a bully. There is the obligatory tournament. He ends up surrounded by two girls. There isnt a tsundere so atleast there’s that. The role of the girls are to be cock-blocking groupies.
The school doesn’t have any proper dress code so the girls show cleavage and sideboobs at once.
He does one good deed by saving a bunch of folks and as a reward the queen say’s she’d marry him...Yeah a commoner saves a bunch of commoners and then gets to marry the queen. Makes perfect sense.
This anime is so predictable that I made a joke in my head that she’d offer him her pussy as a reward. And lo and behold she straight up says lay with me so…

tl;dr: An anime with a pretty weak middle but a pretty amusing opening arc and pretty interesting ending arc.
This anime is initially about a Demon Lord named Varvatos that was lonely because he was so powerful that he was feared by everyone around him. Thus, he killed himself so he could reincarnate as someone new and then make friends. He reincarnated as Ard Meteor with all his memories and powers intact. However, even while doing his best not to stand out and keep his true powers hidden he still has a lot of trouble making friends. Primarily because he’s a dumbass.
This anime’s premise is a lot like Maou Gakuin, but Ard is nothing like Anos. The anime starts off with Ard as a kid in the process of growing up. He still has all his powers and memories, but he has the maturity of a littl…

Even though I might never see your face or touch your hand, you are like the sun to me. Your light, so brilliant and radiant, reaches me no matter the distance. Just as the sun rises each day to banish the darkness and bring warmth to the coldest corners of the earth, your presence in my life does the same for my soul. Your words, your thoughts, even the mere idea of you, infuse my world with a brightness that I never knew was possible. When I feel lost or enveloped by the shadows of doubt and despair, it is your light that guides me back. Your essence is a beacon, a lighthouse in the storm, always there to ensure I find my way. The warmth you emit transcends the physical, wrapping me in a comfort that no mere touch could rival. You are my celestial north star, unwavering and eternal.Your i…

TLDR
Solid concept which disappointsi execution on occasion, however the characters are fun and the comedy is good.
First off this show does nothing new. However it focuses on the lonliness of power and the value of friendship. This gives it a central theme which, if it clicks for you, will probably carry you through the show. It's a well structured plot with arcs, although the transition to the last arc is a bit of a leap out of nowhere.
The main character is your standard overpowered demon lord, but he has a code and a moral compass which help give him some identity. The two main female characters also have their own identities and development, even if they get washed out towards the end in favour of turning them into damsels in distress.
There is one major criticism I have. The payo…

The Demon Lord is reborn as a typical nobody has managed to worm its way into becoming my least favorite anime of all time. I'm actually impressed by that achievement and I've watched plenty of degenerate trash before, so that says a lot. It took me over a year to finish this series because after watching one episode I would need a mental break I will try my best not to repeat what everyone else have already said, but seeing how many reviews there are, that most likely will seem impossible. I will also be avoiding spoilers.
Story: Actually had a good premise and I was interested because of how the first three episodes presented themselves. Ard has some regrets from his past life as Demon Lord and chooses to reincarnate. The premise it gives you is that all he wants to do is make friends a…

This anime tries to break the commonly used Demon King concept. But that even makes me not understand why he holds that title. I mean if it was your enemy then it would be understood, but his people also call him that but his past still doesn't show it. It's like they only use the Demon King Title to appeal to the general audience, whereas the story doesn't draw there at all. I even often confuse the story of this anime with the anime Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja. They have the same flow, both in terms of story and character.

It's not a bad story, it's just very generic, kind of boring, and very forgettable. The animation is good, and the fight scenes are very well done, they are entertaining to watch. The music isn't the best, but it works, so it does the job. But in my opinion, its biggest flaw is not the story itself, but the characters, they all feel very flat already at the end of the series, the protagonist, the two main girls and everyone else feel extremely empty, without motivation They are only there because without them there would be no story, but it is impossible to have any kind of emotion in them, they are extremely generic, even more so than the anime itself. In fact, the beginning is well achieved, there is good material to create a good story, but it stays there, the story begins to become ver…

"THE GREATEST DEMON LORD IS REBORN AS A TYPICAL NOBODY"
Genre- Action, Magic, Super Power, Fantasy, Harem, School.
Sometimes you need someone the most but because of the power/status that you have, you often fail to make friends in your life. You constantly wish for times when you could share your deepest thoughts with someone but then again looking back at everything that has happened you realize that you are the only one to take care of yourself, as involving others in your life may damage their own sanity.
Varvatos is someone who fits the same description, having lost in life by not protecting his loved one, he decides to end his life in hopes of reincarnation and getting over it. Besides being all-powerful and mighty, Ard Meteor (reincarnated Varvatos) decides to complete his lonely…

Is this anime good? Yes.
Is this anime bad? Depends - yes, if you expect things it's not designed to deliver.
Let's put it upfront: The Greatest Demon Lord is harem anime. Isekai, yes, but there's a lot - lot! - of harem. If it's a total red flag for you, just skip that one. If you can live with it or more - enjoy it... Than this anime might be worth a try.
Other than having harem elements, there are some nice refreshing plot ideas and this is not yet another "strongest human on the planet that is 'unique' only because he's strongest". So quick expectation list for you:
What you can expect:
- Harem;
- Superstrong mc;
- Some interesting and some annoying side characters. Somtimes both at once; (Yeah, not the brightest spot for this anime)
- A lot of magic circles with not much explanation…

An extreme generic anime, without innovations, with the old tale of the bored demon king, who in this case reincarnates, but with the same powers without any sense of difficulty, surrounded by pretty girls and trying to contain himself, a plot you've surely seen a thousand times and can choose a better one than this one to mention, any protagonist is more interesting than ARD METEOR like Yuusha Yamamasu's LEO
The Animation is beautiful, but lately it's hard for a studio not to bring quality when adapting some work, the voices are also well posted and match the figures.
The plot, on the other hand, is monotonous, the character's reactions are not exciting and at no time does he seem to have difficulty dealing with neither the battles nor the dilemmas that in theory should present themselves…

Well first of all: this is technically not an isekai till episode 10. Yes, someone gets reborn at the start but not in a different world. Anyways, this anime does have a lot in common with the isekai genre and thats a shame, but in the end it happens to be one itself. Let's see...
It starts quite funny with a few good jokes, in my opinion. Our overpowered main, the demon lord who was praised as a god in his life before, gets reincarnated as a "nobody". Aaaaand he struggles to make friends xD
Thats almost the exact title and it's incorrect. His family is already famous and important. You can expect how the storyline goes... He kinda trys to hide his powers, but well.. he simply doesn't and nobody is questioning it.
After two episodes, Girls are getting sexualized. That means the third and…

I came across several reviews of this anime claiming that it contradicts itself, but that’s simply not true. I’d like to clear up the misunderstanding some viewers had regarding the plot. This review may contain spoilers, and I’ll also discuss Ard Meteor's goal and thoughts throughout the anime, as these seem to be the main points of confusion for many.
Many people wrote in their reviews that Ard's goal contradicts itself. The misconception seems to be that his goal was simply to live a low-profile life, free from reputation, privileges, prestige, and fame. However, his main goal wasn’t to turn his back on his past. What he truly wanted was something he had never experienced, something that everyone around him had: a true friend. The fame and status he accumulated over the years made it d…

The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody lied to me the moment it showed me its title. Rather than become a "typical nobody", Ard Meteor just became the greatest human being in his world and neither he nor the writing was funny or absurd enough to make this trope interesting.
The first episode gave me a positive impression with the protagonist failing to make friends miserably due to his strength. His goals were sympathetic and the story about his first friend was pretty cute. However, since episode two, the show lost whatever charm it left me with. Most of the show was basically Ard trying not to stand out only to stand out anyway due to his strength. Otherwise, it's him attracting the female leads which isn't interesting because there isn't enough romantic chemistry to just…

Don't bother. The premise sounds alright at first but then you soon find yourself in a generic magic school anime. Though weird asspull time travel nonsense happens after that, which ironically I enjoyed more than the school stuff that took most the anime's airtime.
The major problem with this anime is that it doesn't know what it wants to be and can't even keep its own plot straight. It starts out saying that the dude reincarnates because he had no friends and everyone was terrified of him and he wanted to reincarnate so he'd be weaker so he could taste defeat just once.
None of those things were true. Literally.
In the past we see that the guy had plenty of friends. What's more, after that initial statement, he has no interest whatsoever in being defeated. He didn't even want to be we…

For an Anime so mediocre and bland,
it's Opening music had no reason to go so hard.
Rating 4/10
Opening Credits 9/10
And Sense i need to make this review longer. The story is a Clique power fantasy world, characters are uninspired, the women in the story are all MID af and Ctrl+v watered down versions of better characters from different shows, dialogue is trash, but the early story had some few funny moments. There is no redeeming qualities for this show. A complete waste of time to watch. I only watched each episode just to hear the opening credits because that theme song is a f*king banger.
I want my 6 hours of life i wasted watching this back.

Look, this anime is an ok-ish time water but that's about it.
As someone who's up to date on the manga it does absolutely no justice. They gloss over so many of the smaller part's of the story that add up to the enjoyment and character development and overall quality of the manga.
The flow of the anime sucks, it skips over the true story too much and it reveals some of the best twists of the manga way too easily and early.
Legit disgusted by how bad this is compared to the manga - just another case of good manga (7/10) and trash anime adaptation.
Read the manga only 22 chapters (each one is quite long compared to average) and you'll actually enjoy it. Skip the anime and read Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou, Murabito A ni Tensei suru cause this is a poor adaptation.

This anime had some potential, and alright first episode, the main character was Isekaid, and the thing is that his life and plot about his previous life is way more interesting. The first half is filler with standard isekai stuff, the main guy getting something similar to a Harem.
In the second half they actually visit an alternate reality of his previous life, as a Demon Lord. It has its moments but overall i felt it was lacking as we didnt really spend enough time before the climax. The show could have been good if the pink haired girl wasnt so annoying, and if the anime had a few more episodes to work with.
