THIS SHOW HEALED ME 😭.
Before watching, this show gave off isekai-slop vibes. And it felt that way for the first couple of episodes, but then they just started cooking. The story is phenomenal and is held back by the generic 12-episode format. But even with that handicap, the writers still managed to cover so many bases without hurting the story. They have well-animated fights, cover deep themes, a good romance, likable characters, and a good ending. The only stipulation for this show is that it's very fast-paced. Not a lot of room to rest, which might be good for its story, but it can be exhausting to watch.
Story:
This show has two main stories: Algard and Anis, and Euphyllia and Anis. With the latter being the romance storyline and the former being the "action" storyline. Both of the…

Complete and utter waste of time.
It started off pretty well, set up an interesting world with many possibilities and and interesting cast of characters.
However, at around episode 7, or whenever the prince "killed" the vampire girl, the show went to complete shit. Character motivations were all over the place, plot points were contrived and forced, every action, every feeling of every character felt completely fake and forced to create a sense of "drama" the show ends with a complete cop-out ending, where the main character goes into a hissy fit about being a princess vs her girlfriend whining about wanting to kill herself to take over as a spirit ruler--no other alternatives were even discussed, the idea of nobility having to be magicians is just treated as a fact of life that cannot…

Fun magic system with an alright yuri couple on top. Outside from one scene early on, the central relationship presented is fairly good. The magic system gets explored from a variety of angles, but there isn't that much of a tight unifying cohesion to it all like in some other shows. Still, the bits explored are satisfying with good narrative payoff. The character dynamics get pretty good later on with a surprising levels of depth, but the resolution to all the drama feels admittedly dissatisfying for a one-season show.
This anime holds a special place in my heart for introducing me to this type of yuri.

Amazing story with loveable characters that is held back by its short episode count.
This is one anime that would have greatly benefitted if it had a longer runtime. There are many episodes where the pacing felt rushed, most felt in the season finale episode.
Because of the short runtime, there are too many emotional scenes packed into a single episode, reducing their impact.
Additionally, the short runtime does not allow us to fully connect with each character because we do not spend as much time with them; again further reducing the impact of emotional scenes.
Supporting characters and villains are not as fleshed out as they could be: Villains' motives are often presented in a single flashback scene midnight which is not sufficient to truly empathize with them.
And we do not ofte…

MagiRevo is a vibrant exploration of queer identity, the weight of tradition, and the courage required to live authentically. While the show functions as a high-fantasy political drama, its most compelling layer is how it mirrors the real-world struggle of choosing one’s happiness over societal expectations.
The show isn't without flaws, however. The climax in particular is a bit clunky because the antagonist presents an obvious false dichotomy that prevents his motivations from making sense. Even so, the dialogue and voice acting during this section are ultimately quite enjoyable. I don't think the story is really about that conflict at all, as the real climax occurs in the final arc. That is where the story succeeds by rejecting the idea that the leads must choose between their kingdom…

This is an anime with a stupidly long name that you definitely can't be bothered to remember or type out. Therefore I recommend you remember it as MagiRevo or TenTen since you can find it by just looking for that. This is not a powerfantasy isekai.
MagiRevo's story is fine for the most part. The anime just seems to struggle sometimes with how to create conflict/drama which results in parts of the later half of the story just not making sense. The problem is that these are the exact times that extremely important events happen that dictate how the rest of the story goes. The villain's actions are completely antithetical to his supposed ideals and later you're presented with a lovely false dichotomy to set up the ending conflict. I did like how the story handled isekai and its implications…

It's a good anime especially in the Yuri genre. The characters are loveable especially Anis. The anime is worth to watch up till episode 9-10 from there the story juts becomes forced. The story is forced to be more emotional hence ruining the general mood created by the proceeding episodes.
The animation quality is decent or even well done if I do say so myself. Being a fan of Yuri made me not give this a 3 rating. The conclusion was rushed and not properly constructed. Honestly disappointing.from episode 9 things just started going 180° turns things which don't seem realistic started happening.the resolution of matters especially the forced climax of the anime from episode 9 was resolved in a shabby manner and a character who was good but not great was over hyped makeing her manage a fea…

I really really wanted to like this! It starts off super strong with a very unique premise where the mc is strong, LOVES magic, but CAN'T use magic.
Instead, she's developing magic tools using magic stones to fulfill her dreams of being a magician. Sounds very intriguing!
Her character is quirky and a bit plain, which is balanced by the secondary character who is very pretty and well-reserved. Although to be honest, the overall art and animation for this anime is really beautiful. Most characters, food, scenes, are drawn beautifully.
I love the parents, particularly the fathers in this anime too. The little scenes and side stories were great.
So what's not to love?
The bigger plot.
While they did really well in most parts, the bigger overall stuff was so annoyingly bad.
Like, the v…

I might be writing this review still riding the high of finishing the 12 episodes, but this anime really surprised me—similar to I’m in Love with the Villainess (which I’ll call LWV).
The first season wrapped up beautifully. The arcs are strong, and every character manages to be engaging.
In contrast to LWV, the protagonists here feel much more grounded in their personalities, which makes them feel real and easy to connect with. You end up caring not only about them, but also about the supporting cast around them.
The story leans more into magic, ambition, character drama, and even noble politics, giving it a stronger action-drama vibe compared to LWV’s heavier romance focus. That said, romance is still present—and honestly, this anime blends romance with other themes better than a…

Decently fun and show but felt super safe.
Best part was the main character and her relationship with the secondary protagonist. Episode 1 had me hooked because of all the interesting plot elements it introduced.
Unfortunately throughout the show they did a poor job of showing those plot elements.
For example, Euphyllia was publicly (and wrongfully) defamed in episode 1, but they failed to follow up on any sort of backlash or anything from the citizens of the kingdom. It felt as if she had a relatively easy and safe ride back to her high status without facing any criticism from the public.
Also there seems to be an ongoing theme of a dichotomy between "Nobles" and "Commoners" involving usage of magic. However, I did not feel like this conflict was displayed at all outside of a 2 second…

An underrated yuri gem.
The anime progresses faster than both the manga and light novel (to be expected) but it does so in a way that does not diminish the overall message and experience. As the show progresses, the audience is left figuring out Anisphia's and Euphyllia's relationship and intentions, a stark contrast to the light novel where readers would know every thought and feeling. It can be argued that, due to this decision, the anime creates a more engaging sense of suspense as opposed to readers already knowing everything. However, there were definitely moments and scenes that were oversimplified as a result— which does at times seem slightly disjointed but that was also the case for the manga adaptation too. The main relationship aspect of the anime takes a considerable role in t…

To note, this was my first Yuri anime experience and it was such a great one to boot. The character development and growth was absolutely amazing and genuinely made me start crying. I felt for these characters a whole bunch and felt that was made capable by how wonderful this show was.
First, Diomedia. I may be a *tad* bias but I really enjoy this studio as they've done a handful of my favorites and they do them well and this was no exception. Animation was clean and crisp, the overall design was nice to look at. In general, their shows look nice.
Story, was absolutely fantastic. The growth between the characters and their environment and how they adapt was wonderful to watch. How they're written is great and they're also really really likable. Like they're so funny and feel very human…

I deadass cried because of the character developpement, its somewhat relatble so ouch
(I might be too sensible but that's a subject for another day)
The story is quite nice and the characters are likeable, I especially like the developement of the brother
I really liked the orchestral vibe of the soundtrack, it fits really well with the setting :D
However litlle something, if you are here for the yuri you might be disapointed, you will be fed only a few crumbs here and there until the last episode (by that I mean there is no direct contact or "dates" its more like situations or just character development)

The anime focuses around a small cast of characters and their interactions. Other than magic, there is not much thought given to fantastical elements or world-building. That being said, the characters are generally well-written. They each have unique goals, ideals, and worries that they grapple with. The story supports this with backstories of their upbringing and experiences. Set in a royal background, a prevalent theme is the struggle of becoming your own ideal vs conforming to the ideals and responsibilities others have of you. I would argue that the theme is executed well.
However, while there are mostly realistic portrayals of characteristics that one may develop under the circumstances, it is sometimes difficult to believe the extreme lengths that characters are willing to go to ach…

Honestly, for an isekai I believe this is well done. The pacing is a bit fast, but I do believe the love story itself is actually quite endearing and tragic at the same time. If you like sappy stuff with a good female lead, you'll love this show despite how short it is.
Some cons; like I said the pacing is a bit fast. Also, the motivations are a little unknown of the characters still.
Positives; I think a fair bit of the characters can be relatable and make you care. The animation is pretty good and surprisingly there's little to no CGI. Anis is probably the biggest highlight of the show. It's unfortunate the story isn't longer, cause I would've liked to seen her antics a lot more.

It delivered the basis of the manga, but I felt like it left too many gaps. As someone who read the manga after watching it, maybe that's 100% the anime's proposal to make you interested in reading it, but at the same time I understand that it's a short season and an anime that no one expected to be successful, so everything needed to have a beginning and an end in a direct line, without leaving room for continuations, but unfortunately it doesn't fully fulfill the real connection that the two have, it doesn't show enough for them to be completely in love, the art is incredible and delivers the emotions conveyed in the manga as a whole, but I don't see the depth of their relationship exposed as it should. Maybe with an extra movie or a 2nd season, this feeling of gaps between them will fin…

The king is in his 40s, have a couple of children, rule the kingdom until you are 55? These events can continue in so many different ways if you think about it a little...
+
yuri stuff was good,
visually good,
characters are fun ...
-
Everything was so fast, events were disjointed.
It's not memorable, it will be forgotten in a week ...
I could still watch it until the Algard events, but after the events, it suddenly lost all its appeal and became boring and boring.
I disliked at the end.
..
Lainie Cyan was a bit interesting but it was resolved quickly and miraculously quickly... they should have pursued this a bit more
Tilty Claret was such an empty character

I am beyond shocked at how good this show turned out to be for me. Despite the silly introductory episodes, I didn’t have high hopes going into watching it. However by the end it actually became my favorite show I’ve ever watched, which completely took me by surprise judging by the mixed reviews here.
Anis (the main character) has such a magnetic personality, despite the tone shift towards the end of the show. Euphyllia’s personality also undergoes a major shift throughout the show, and at the risk of spoiling, I’ll just say that despite the confused reviews the show sets this theme from the very beginning through Anis’s motives.
The second half of the season is one of the best stretches of a show I’ve ever watched. Others seem to be frustrated with the amount of plot in the second half, b…

Tensei Oujo to Tensai Reijou no Mahou Kakumei is a Diomedea anime based off of a light novel by Karasu Piero with art by Kisaragi Yuri. I've looked at Diomedea's work a few times. They were behind Akuma no Riddle, Shinryaku Ika Musume & Dai Mahou Touge. They haven't let me down yet. So I'm very interested in this one.
Story:
We open with the eccentric Princess, Anisphia Wynn Palletia, fighting monsters to claim their materials. Turns out she's building revolutionary technology to allow ordinary people to make use of magic. The nobles are not happy with this given that their society is built on the upper class hoarding that power for themselves. It isn't long before she crashes a party and rescues her brother's former fiancé, Euphyllia Magenta, after he's publicly denounced and broken th…

I think this show's writing is very sloppy and suffers from a lack of focus. I was expecting a cute romance with a fantasy royalty backdrop, but I ended up getting poorly realized political drama and flimsy worldbuilding, with a little romance on the side.
I'm usualy not one to fuzz about stuff like this but I think the magic system, the basis for the entire setting, is kinda wack. It's like they decided the names of the spells before they invented them. Like, how did the work of the old masters end up at "Water Hammer?"*
*water hammer = a hammer made out of water. (╯▔皿▔)╯
The worldbuilding being as underdeveloped as it is wouldn't have been such a problem if the show just focused on its strong points, the cute yuri moments and the romance, but I was surprised to see this take a backsea…
