1st and foremost this anime feels like your starting on the 2nd or 3rd season, and like multipule seasons was compressed into one. it was so bad that i had to go back and check if i missed a season. important characters would show up out of no where, and many things are told to you as an afterthought with no real back story.
to top it off, everything is rushed, and that comes with all of the problems you would expect. a lot of plot holes, and a lot of one-dimensional characters ment to be slated into a harem for the MC that doesn't want it. there are often conclusions that feel like a stretch or are just wrong.
i also have to say that i don't normaly mind harem animes, but there is a big issue when the MC states that he is already in a relationship and doesn't want to cheat. but the cli…

As someone who has watched more Isekai anime, willingly or otherwise, than I'd care to admit, this particular Crunchyroll-funded piece of garbage is truly the bottom of the bottom of the barrel.
Great Isekai anime use their settings and premise to elevate their storytelling and challenge their audience while using the other world to say something meaningful about our world.
Good Isekai anime feature a world and characters worth getting invested in.
Passable Isekai anime stay away from questionable plot points and lean into the ridiculousness of their settings, premise, and characters.
Normal bad Isekai anime have animation that doesn't look unfinished.
Master of Ragnarok fails on all counts. I acknowledge as a certified trashman that garbage anime, guilty pleasures and the like, do i…

This is seriously one of the most underrated anime of all time. I give it a 10/10, from beautiful art to a great and large cast all with personality despite only having 12 episodes, this is truly a hidden gem.
The story is isekai but unusual in that the main character did not die, when he is transported to the new world he is leaving behind people he cares about. Into a world of old technology and magic, he uses his knowledge of modern technology with internet searches to improve the society he lands in and ends up a benevolent dictator. This then leads to various wars with other nations.
The art throughout is truly incredible. By the end of the series I had my jaw drop from how good the scenes were, this is just truly an unexpected underrated anime. There are some parts that I persona…

Imma keep it short. The score of 5.7 and not recommended reviews are exaggerated, this is a good watch, binged it in a day, I skipped it because of the low score but I exhausted most adventure, magic and fantasy shows, this was good tho. Just don't be so critical about it. It has no noticeable CG and good fight scenes. But not on the level of Fate, Mushoku Tensei or Demon Slayer. Its like the other generic Fantasy shows but not the bad ones. Black Summoner is above 7 but the CG is dogshit so this show is better than that.

A reminder that just because Crunchyroll tosses money into the development of a show doesn't mean that it's a good idea. The early stages of this anime were decent, maybe even good. But as the series progressed, it just seemed like an isekai show where they wanted to make a main character that was geeky and pure, but not making him interesting.
The biggest shortcoming of harem anime is character development. They rely on tropea for the male and female characters in order to quickly establish a foundation and get to the foundation. This show is a prime example of the problems with this approach. It results in an anime that is kind of boring.
That doesn't mean it's devoid of any good moments. Whenever they showcase the development of new technology, or new strategies in combat, it fascina…

Nothing about this show really stands out as particularly good or as egregiously bad, with the exception of the fanservice & ecchi - there's just too much of it for the series to be taken particularly seriously. There are, however, several interesting features to Master of Ragnorok that pull the standard up somewhat above the average level of Isekai trash:
The art is pretty run of the mill, character designs are okay, but the backgrounds are sparse for the most part. Fights are not well choreographed, with lots of stills and talking ruining the fun.
The strength is probably the story and set-up. We have an isekaied MC, Yuuto, but the setting (the World of Yggdrasil) is a sort of tribal late bronze-age, rather than your standard medieval fantasy world. Unusually Yuuto has no special abili…

I thnik this is one of the best isekai/harem anime. i love an idea with strategic clashes of ancient troops. i want to see next season! i dont know why some peolpe hate this, maybe they've seen too much. I Love reference to Nordic ancient Mitology. I personally hope season 2 will actually show up, I can't wait for the main character to return to secound world.at many points I was stressed and anxious about the course of events. I was very hooked by history. if you like harem and elements of strategic combat in which the leaders are powerful this anime is for you. sorry for my Eanglish iam polish. greetings!

My second worst anime after val x love. What was happening there!!! What was they were trying to imply. Too boring. In terms of boredom it is my number one pick.
There wasn't any story. Animation was kinda fair. Characters were too porn. Every character looked same to me.
There were too many logical issues to mention. Like how can a mobile battery survive for years without anything. How can a noob swordsman can beat a veteran. And so on.
The MC is the weakest. Too much boring to handle.
Is there anything I enjoyed? Yes. Boobies. The ecchi scenes were dull. But I enjoyed that a little bit. What I enjoyed the most was the dark skin girl. Damn she was so hot. Watch the show just for her and to see her hotness. There were some small jokes that hardly make you smirk.
Try it when you have…

Probably one of the worst Isekai anime possible. First of all, here's the worst thing - You know how in many cases the anime has no real ending because the original manga / novel continues long after the anime ends? Well this is the first time I see it the other way around. This anime is from 2018 while the light novel began in 2013 and for some reason beyond my comprehension the anime doesn't start at the beginning of the story but a lot later. To be blunt, it's like they decided to skip the first season completely and begin with the second season. The result? You hardly know what's going on, and it's not like you can watch the show from the first episode because there is no first episode. There are quite a lot of references to past events that obviously happened only in the novel and to…

You know what it means to watch a good anime with a good premise, right? Heads up, there's some spoilers around, so watch out!
The story is about Suou Yuuto, a man who gets teleported to another world with nothing equipped but his cellphone, which, miraculously, still gets signal even though there's no electrical gadgets around. But hey, save that "analytical" madness for later, because like I said earlier, the premise is very good, giving off that feeling of "time travel" due to the knowledge said cellphone gives to Suou, giving him "advanced" information that would change his community for the better. This is just a rough sketch of what happens soon, but when Suou becomes the leader of his country, he basically creates a harem of girls from other nations, making the story quite the comm…

tl;dr: An anime with a few good things here and there but that is largely a not very good story told pretty terribly.
To start off this review first I'd like to say that unlike what seems to be the mainstream opinion, I still quite like isekais, even generic ones with Gary Stus that everyone in the alternate automatically loves for no reason. Furthermore, I'm especially fond of isekai where the protagonist uses knowledge or skills gained in their former world to have a major edge in another. In addition to that, I love overpowered protagonists, especially when being overpowered manifests in strategy/tactics/battle of wits. Hence, you could say that this anime ticks a lot of boxes in terms of my preferences and is something that I'd be naturally inclined to like. Despite all that, I still…

Something I always thought of when watching isekai anime or reading isekai manga was "what about the original world?" In most if not all isekais, the series doesn't bother with the world whence the protagonist came, and neither does the main character, because he or she just died to get to the new world. So, I always thought: "what if the protagonist actually has contact with his original world and/or can travel back and forth between the two worlds?"
Now take that, mix it with Norse mythology and flush it down the filthiest toilet you can imagine.
Hyakuren no Haou to Seiyaku no Valkyria (big words, long title, must be an isekai!) takes a premise that is relatively unexplored in isekai and ensures that no author will want to tackle it ever again.
STORY: 1
The story starts two years AFT…

I’m not the one to read through reviews or write my own for that matter, but the overall score seemed strange for this anime. Of the Isekai genre this is one of my favorite main characters, Due to the incredibly low score I couldn’t find the anime. Yuto is an enjoyable character to watch. The use of battle strategies and not being overpowered only made me enjoy the show more. He also has a brain and actually talks through things with the girls rather than just turning red and not saying anything like many shows. The smart phone usage was also a great add. There’s going to be fan-service, there’s going to be some cliches, but this anime is a 7 from me.

I'm lazy so I'm going to use google translator:
Okay, the anime has 2 scenes of echhi for 1 action, but I really like anime that portrays historical facts.
The anime has its cons yes! But he managed to hold me back only with the strategies used in battle, drawing a lot from Norse and Roman mythology. He relied on great historical leaders, and his thoughts on dealing with opponents made me see until the end.
Of course, the anime could be 10x more elaborate, the battles are fast and the duels even more, which is a pity, since the anime had potential for epic scenes. But it looks like they didn't want to focus on that ...
Anyway, it ended up being a slice of life with escapes for quick battles. I don't know if I would recommend it to someone who doesn't have the same taste as me.

This is nowhere near as bad as people have been making out.
The general complaints seem to be focused on it being an Isekai, well shucks if you don't like Isekai anime don't watch Isekai anime, it's not hard to figure out.
As an Isekai this is rather good, it also doesn't have many of the sins that a lot of Isekai anime have.
We don't have the OP protagonist with crazy fighting powers or magical abilities, instead we have a regular guy who takes advantage of being from the future/different world and is able to implement a more advanced technology and tactics into the nation (clan) that he is made ruler of.
We also don't have the clueless protag at the head of a harem, or the protag who is running away from the girls for no reason. Although there still is a harem element the protag has a…

MORBE is not as bad a show as most of the reviews are making it out to be.
It still isn't good but it isn't a 1 or 2. (I.E. something painful to watch)
First lets define what MORBE is trying to be.
1st It's and isekai.
2nd It's a harerm.
3rd It's a military strategy anime
4th It's a civilization building anime
5th it's some sort of political narrative Its problem is that doesn't do any of these well.
As an isekai, the new world's not particularly interesting. It's some sort of primitive society, that really has its head up its rear. There's magic of some sort that isn't well defined and mostly functions as the lazy writer's bag of tricks.
As a harem well it's got girls and a teenage boy that doesn't want to have sex. Somehow it doesn't manage to create any comedy from that
When it c…

I just made an account for the sole purpose of giving this show a fair, non-pretentious review. I'm hoping it will help give people a reason to not skip out on this show. I know it's easy to be put off by all the negative reviews, but let me be the one to tell you that they mean nothing. They aren't trustworthy professionals that know the ins and outs of storytelling and writing. They're delusional trolls who only THINK that they know what they're talking about. They don't. They're victim to the primitive belief that if you don't understand something, that makes it bad. I've actually made attempts to learn how authorship works. Writing is complex and often difficult, so there are thousands of different styles to go about it. And knowing that, I look and this show and say with the utmost co…

SASUGA YUUTO-sama...you done fucked it up!
Hyakuren no Haou to Seiyaku no Valkyria shows itself like Oda Nobuna no Yabou but with NONE of the charm with a dense and worse yet chaste main male protagonist, a harem that swoons for him for no real reason and a setting where it could bring potential, but feigns ignorance in order to make our main male protagonist seem stronger...
LA will say oddly enough LA at first found Hyakuren no Haou to Seiyaku no Valkyria "ok", bland at best...until the plot progressed and LA found the anime just......horribly lazy.
Yuuto Suou voiced by Koudai Sakai is the dense chaste main male protagonist and he's the typically cliche nice guy and he has a smartphone to aid him in his isekai'd world...that of a 1000 BCE of his original world. So he's time traveled a…

First things first: turn your brain off to watch this.
And no, I don't mean in a digibro-overanalyzer way, just the critique part of the brain.
You don't need it here. You're here to watch funny shit. Here's some.
The scores above are not explanatory enough to define this anime so I will put some more here, also giving half points where necessary.

Plot and completeness:
I didn't read the manga, but I feel an episode 1 is missing.
World building is rushed and some characters (Mizuki) are taken for granted.
The ending is a little short too, I feel there could've been an extra episode about the last episode's last minute.
Apart from that, assuming the man…

the master of ragnarok.. oh man..
so usually, I don't really dislike the isekai, harem category, but.. this one is a bit different..
so, basically, I kind of got in touch with this anime by seeing posts on instagram, on youtube, on twitter, etc, you get the idea.
and, if you are like me, anime fan that has passion for isekais and harems, you would probably search it up, and watch the entire season, right?.
well, yes, that's what happend first.. I searched it up, watched the first few episodes, but it was kind of lacking.. so, first I'm going to start with the story.
I was kind of lazy to rewatch the series, but I looked at other reviews, so don't bash on me..
the story is kind of.. meh..
like, you are thrown into the midst into the battle, without any context.
this may be personal pref…
