I enjoyed this anime more than I would like to admit.
Setting - 2/10
Right off the bat there's Gundam, Space ships, magic, medieval inspired kingdoms, and of course it's an isekai. The protagonist already calls out how stupid this is from the beginning. If you're the type that needs cohesive world-building that makes sense then you won't like this anime. The stupidity of the setting is written off because it's a shitty Otome game.
Characters - 4/10
A lot of characters, especially the nobles, are just flat out evil/terrible. The group of 5 guys that are supposed to be the game protagonist's love interests are comically (and intentionally) bad, yet they get dragged along everywhere as some recurring gag. The main heroines, Olivia and Angelica, act like NPC's with scripted dialogue.

Very solid story. I highly enjoyed this anime for sure. It was kinda a new scope for an anime based off a guy who beat a romance play through game for his sister lol. Still very good development throughout the anime and so far throughout the second season of the anime. Not sure about the other little girl the new “protagonist” that’s kind of iffy in my opinion but the main character has a goofy ass name; still, the main character has some good writing and is a tad egotistical when it comes to the hate of the game instead of the love of the game😂. Anyways would recommend watching g this for sure just to switch up some genre watching if you’re used to a bunch of slop or just plain repeated storyboards. ok gave my 2 cents but would recommend atleast watching the first season.

Despite not recommending it, I would totally recommend it if you wanted to spend an evening watching slop, which is exactly what my friend and I wanted to do.
There are many problems with this anime, mainly concerning the setting. Merging sci-fi and fantasy is difficult, and the anime did not do it well. Students are sent to fight in dungeons with classic fantasy equipment, but then in the next moment, they are fighting duels with Gundam-style battle suits. Despite having this technology, the flying jet skis require magic to actually fly. The world being a collection of floating islands was interesting, though, as it meant airships were necessary for maneuvering.
Another aspect of the world's setting that makes absolutely no sense is how this world is a matriarchy? Every person in power…

It's so addictive.
I was watching it, at one point i didn't even realized when I got so copped up. I still remember after the first few episodes which i took some days to finish, the last remaining episodes i literally finished in 1 or 2 days. If you liked Lloyd Frontera from Tgsd manwha than i think you will like it bcs Leon, our mc is kind of the Japanese version of Lloyd Frontera. The animation is overall fine. But i at the end of anime fell in love with characters. Ofc the mc group. The theme song starting was fire too.i pied the beginning. Overall it's a hidden gem. I'm waiting for season 2. It deserves it. It's a good anime from it's genre. And we also don't see everyday a story of Male mc in otome Story anime. Well technically speaking there's action, comedy a lot.
Overall everyb…

The overall themes of the anime are action, romance, comedy and obviously isekai. Yet it’s not your generic “isekai” difference is he wants to be in the background which is very hard for him to do because of the multiple people he interacts with. If you enjoy a MC (main character) who is unhinged and loves to do what he wants this will be for you as the man takes great pride in following his own ideas which will bring you laughter, followed by a romance that is VERY subtle and builds slowly but when you notice it you WILL be hooked on it or atleast I am….

Sometimes you find a great story, great characters, nice animation and all that... is ruined by just one character, a character so annoying, a character so unnecesary, a character you could remove and the story could've been not only more interesting, not only more straightforward, but just plain better... in this case, that character for me is Olivia.
When i started watching the story i find it interesting, i liked the concept and how was it being develop, but from the first moment she appeared immediately i knew she was just gonna ruin something and the story was gonna be a mess because of her. Not only she has the worst type of personality where she doesnt understand her position and HAS to have an opinion in everything, also HAS to talk in every freaking situation when she shouldnt an…

One of the best anime I've watched in a long time.
The premise doesn't do this show justice. Leon does get trapped in a game that he played, however the game has deviated from the one he knows. It's not by a lot and certain events still happens, but it's different enough that makes it interesting.
So what makes this anime so good? LEON. This MC is awesome. He does what he wants and says what he wants. It's refershing to see an MC with actual PERSONALITY. Don't get me wrong though- Leon is still very kind. His goal is still to be a mob character, however through unforseen events he has to make decisions for him and his friends happiness. In short, Leon is a wild, but thoughtful man. I absolutely love him as the MC.
It's not just Leon though. Almost all the characters are good. Angelica…

The rewatch value on these 12 episodes is kind of ridiculous. Absolutely nothing happens, yet, so much does. It's a clear parody of so many isekais that it's hilarious when anything remotely "isekai" actually happens.
It has its shortcomings, like not really executing very well when navigating comedy and actual stakes, but for what it's worth, if you turn your brain completely off when watching it... you'll probably be too focused on wondering if the Queen will have any more screen time. The main character is funny, witty, and probably pretty relatable to a lot of teenage boys. But the female characters don't have as much development as they should, which stops the show from really progressing deeper into the dynamics that could be pressed upon without seeming too immature.
Pretty decen…

Honestly, there’s nothing really new here. It’s a simple story that follows all the usual otome game and isekai tropes, so I kinda forgot what I was watching halfway through. When I finally hit the last episode, some stuff came back to me, but it felt… meh.
The show had some potential early on, and I was hoping it would do something fresh or clever. But by the halfway point, it kinda lost steam and ended up disappointing me. It’s watchable, but nothing to write home about.
I’d give it a solid 6 out of 10 if you want light, easy entertainment without too much thinking, it’ll do the job. But don’t expect it to blow your mind or anything.

I really wanted to give this anime a 7/10 because of the potential I saw in it, but too many story threads were pushed in dull or poorly executed directions—and that’s just disappointing. On top of that, I wish there had been a few more episodes to explore what other characters were thinking and to give us some solid side stories. Even though there’s no “comedy” tag here, it often feels like the show was treated as one. Personally, I would have preferred to see more romance development and a deeper dive into the world the anime presents.
Art style and animation are fine—they’re not special by any means, but they get the job done. Honestly, I was a bit surprised by how little fanservice there was, given the premise.
Overall, I think I can recommend this anime. It wastes some of its potent…

This is just an anti patriarchal propaganda anime.
Anime finds every excuse to include propaganda and dehumanizing men.
If such anime was created about women. The world will be in turmoil. This is just a weird premise to take. Didn't like it.
Maybe it’s just me who found it like this.. Others might just take it as just another anime topic or premise. But I just couldn't look past it.
The anime might have taken another route along the way but the starting pissed me off so much I quit watching past 5-6 episode.
And the things they discriminate about is so generic and predictable clearly trying to paint the normal patriarchy as evil and trying to make this anime world the opposite. But, in doing so they are exaggerating too much.
The characters are bland the Main character too. A basi…

If you're already familiar with the isekai genre, this series probably won't bring anything new to the table. The animation is serviceable but far from outstanding, and the characters fall into familiar archetypes without much depth or originality. The story itself is quite simple and predictable, lacking a compelling or unique premise.
That said, not every show needs to reinvent the wheel. Sometimes, all you want is lighthearted entertainment—and in that sense, this series delivers. Despite its shortcomings, it has genuinely funny moments that might make you chuckle, especially if you enjoy parody or self-aware humor. It's not a series you'll likely remember long after watching, but it can be a fun, easy watch when you're in the mood for something silly.

While I think that there is some merit to the initial outset of the premise, the production of this show ends up falling flat and failing to deliver a solid product I do not recomend this show to anyone who is interested, and I think ther ea replenty of other shows to be consiered before taking this one into consideration.
The writing of this show is okay for the first few episodes, and the general premise of the whole season is fine. However this show falls into the normal trap of losing focus and becoming slow towards the end, to the point where the "big battle" at the end of the season detracts from the series and its impact. The show becomes nearly unbearable and requires a lot of willpower to stick with towards the end, and this is coming from a type of guy who heavily suffers under…

Okay, I’ll be real — I went into this anime hoping for something quirky and self-aware, especially with that title. Like, “Trapped in a Dating Sim” sounds like it would poke fun at all the classic isekai and harem tropes, right? And sure, it tries to do that at first, but man... it just kind of fizzles out halfway through.
The whole “die and wake up in a game world” setup — it’s been done to death, and this one doesn’t bring anything fresh. Leon, the MC, is sarcastic and clearly tired of the world he’s in, which I actually liked in the beginning. It felt like he was me. But then the same old pattern kicked in: overpowered protagonist, annoying rich boys, generic school setting, and a whole lot of "meh."
There honestly wasn’t even one episode that stood out or left me excited for the next…

Let’s start with a brief analysis
Animation: 6/10 – It’s exactly what it looks like: bad.
Comedy: 7/10
Plot: 6/10 – Just the same old clichés of the genre.
Romance: 6/10
Soundtrack: 7/10
Protagonist: 100/10 – Easily the best part of the anime, and in my opinion, the only reason it managed to stay afloat instead of sinking into mediocrity.
Character design: 7/10 Let’s begin with the negatives:
As I mentioned before, it’s just another one of those generic isekai shows – same jokes, same story, same overpowered protagonist, and the same worn-out clichés we've all grown tired of.
The animation is bad, though they did manage to improve it during key scenes. The romance, unfortunately, doesn’t develop in a satisfying way.
Now, let’s shift the focus to the positives:
The protagonist is by far…

As a reader of the light novel, I had high expectations for this anime to match the imagination I had while reading the novel. The mecha battle scenes were adapted quite well into the anime. The emotional tension I felt while reading the novel’s dialogues was also present when watching the anime. However, the character designs in the anime do not match the illustrations in the light novel. The female characters in the anime were designed with more prominent breasts—an unnecessary improvisation. The story is already good and doesn't need fan service by emphasizing the sexualized bodies of female characters.

I was disappointed with this show.
I did read somewhere that it was really good (and it indeed has quite good ratings here), so I went for it. Isekai, ecchi, harem, op mc... What else would I need?
But in reality, it didn't live up to its promises. Yes it's an isekai alright, but the other tags feel unproperly attributed (at least to me).
Ecchi: meh. Nothing really sexy in there. A few C or D cups, no partial nudity (or almost none), very very few naughty/sexy scenes, the MC is not particularly naughty (just a couple of remarks in all 12 episodes)... To me, it doesn't deserve the "ecchi" tag (it's not present on MAL, but on another website I am using).
Harem: nope. There is a light reversed-harem theme in this show, but nothing ostentatious. As for a classic harem (1 male, 2+ females),…

I’ve watched “Trapped in a Dating Sim,” and it’s a fantastic anime.
At first, I thought it would be just another generic isekai series, and I expected the main character to build a typical harem. But I was wrong. The anime surprised me with a unique twist on the genre.
The plot is well-crafted and nicely organized, with some genuinely thrilling moments. I almost forgot to mention the main character—Leon. I think he might go down as one of the top “thug” characters in the anime universe! Olivia is a good character, but Angie is especially well-written and stands out as one of the best.
Aside from the main characters, the supporting cast is also well-developed. I really enjoyed the animation—it fits the tone of the anime perfectly. The action scenes were intense, and the background music (…

If you guys have watched Kubo-san wa Mob wo Yurusanai or Mob Psycho 100 or wanna watch some anime where the MC is a mob, this "Mobuseka" is just for you.......or not! Actually, Leon(protagonist of Mobuseka) terribly failed to become a mob when he tried to help Angelica in front of a huge crowd. So you are wondering by now why I am bringing such anime. Fret not! though this anime has failed in the mob category, it has brought out a whole new potential. There's a saying, "If you sacrifice one thing in your life, you will gain another one". By graduating from the mob, dude became one of the most absolute thug or savage MC I have ever seen. It's like "I came for gold but found a diamond".
Another thing I can say is that for those who hate Shoujo or reverse harem anime, this will definitely bec…

The plot is actually interesting, the MC say that combination of monarch fantasy and magic, sci-fi race, body suit battle and mecha war is bad but actually it's really interesting. They manage to mix that really well. And Comedy is actually really good. I bet they can make this anime 10x funnier if the graphic was good but well, at least I laugh so hard with what MC done.
However, the animation is average. Character design is a bit odd, I can't explain it well but I look really different with the source material. But it not too bad that it look ugly, it's just a bit underwhelming
I initially give this anime 8, but the opening even though the animation in the opening is not too great, the music is fire. So I give it another point
