What a pile, I mean. It fumbles what should be the equivalent of a microwave meal. It squanders any good thing it makes or has, chooses the worst part of story telling, uses terrible tropes and just butchers it along with any attempt at a story. Having out of order flash backs trying to add to it but takes away from it instead. Rushed character development and story. The animation is passable, the main character has no chance to be likeable, just onto the next thing. Things loosely connected that feel like the story is skipping, it tries to be edgey or cool I'm not sure which but still falls flat no matter which way you slice it.
Now if you expect season 2 to be better well prepare to be disappointed and what from what i did watch from season 3 they managed to make it feel like filler epi…

Note: before starting the series, watch the prologue, couldnt find subs, but the raw was in fb, just google it.
the direction and story is the worst ever, many of the scenes didnt make any sense. I had to rely on manga for most of the part, the pacing was really bad and the plot left me very frustrated. worst adaptation ever. if they had just followed the manga or the LN, s1 would have been 8 easily.
the animations with 2d was fine, but the 3d ones really distracted and were an eye sore, i would never rewatch this show.
most of the episode endings and starting scenes had no logic, because most of the explanation was taken out for dumb scenes , wasting our time, the jokes were not funny either.
The characters felt flat, having no real depth or feelings or any proper reasons, left me qu…

Well, Overall, I find the anime a great and highly enjoyable Isekai. Many people call this just a “good average anime” — they are probably big fans of mainstream, polished stuff. But a person with real taste understands this is a solid, fun power fantasy that knows exactly what it wants to be.
Arifureta knows exactly what corners to cut to keep things fast, light, and still interesting as a story. It doesn’t waste time on unnecessary filler or slow world-building — it throws you into the action, the revenge, the harem-building, and the OP moments right away. The pacing is addictive. Some moments are genuinely funny too, with that classic over-the-top isekai humor that lands when you’re in the right mood.
Classic “betrayed and left for dead, comes back ridiculously strong” setup, but execut…

After watching all 12 episodes of Arifureta Season 1, I finally understand why the rating is so low. This might be one of the worst anime adaptations I’ve actually finished. Episodes 1–2 were a complete mess, couldn’t even tell what was going on. The lighting, color composition, and overall direction in those episodes were terrible; it felt rushed and unfinished. The dungeon exploration was incredibly uninteresting, and even after that, the animation overall was very poor. The CGI was stiff, overused, and looked bad. The plot felt unfocused, completely all over the place, jumping from one event to another out of nowhere.
The pacing was also bad, making it hard to feel any depth in the story. The power system wasn’t properly explained, and the side characters were forgettable, many of them…

It's important to note that I'll be talking about all three series here. My reason will become apparent.
With this story, one of the basic rules of anime is violated: The first series is bad. How bad? I had it as a 1 during its first two-thirds. That's ExArm-level awful. The only reason I didn't drop it is that I don't drop series. The nipple-less naked vampire loli had that Crunchyroll sqeak that only dogs and bats can hear clearly. (What *is* it with Crunchyroll audio in recent years? The old stuff is fine, and the new stuff isn't.) The CGI alone was the stuff of nightmares, but added to the protagonist whipping up complicated engineering from, literally, dust and becoming OP was ridiculous. Toward the end, though, it got interesting enough that against my better judgment I started the…

If Solo Leveling, GATE, and the 100 girlfriends had a child. That's all, that's my review.
But because I need a longer review here uhhh;
And yes I'm aware this came first before solo leveling.
Despite having no story depth whatsoever (Haven't read the manga tho), I still finished it, and maybe I didddddd enjoy some of it (A little) For some reason I like watching random ahh anime, this is probably just a parody anime.
Erm the characters are very generic, predictable, and lack any character depth at all. I won't list down all of them, but the main characters are fine ig. I don't really care about the animation but if you do, you're not surviving the 1st episode btw.
And the fights, uhhhhhhhhhhh yea most of the time they're just standing still here and there, and there's barely any str…

This show is bad. There is nothing in it that has any redeemable qualities. It starts off relatively strongly the first couple episodes and then just evolves into the same generic isekai tropes that you've seen a thousand times. Saving the elf girl in a dungeon. Of course, she becomes his waifu, and he ends up with multiple waifus that are obsessed with him. It's the same thing you've seen a thousand times. The show power scales the main character Hajime to be the strongest person ever in a few episodes, so there's zero tension on anything. That's would be fine if the show was actually good underneath it. Characters that are well-written could be potentially fun, as we see in certain shows like Hellsing or things like that, but obviously, when a show is just badly written, it doesn't matte…

Well... The title didn't lie one bit.So at the very least i admire their honesty.
It's isekai. It's an OP Main character. The setup on it's own when it all starts isn't anything different. It becomes something more on the way. I honestly very much despise op MCs. I care not for the reasoning.Having them never break a sweat is just not something that moves me in any way shape or form.Now... From what i've understood this first season was actually rushed. And honestly i can say.Im quite certain we were supposed to see far more of Hajime's descent until he finds Yue. And the manga covers that(again from what i've heard). And it's detrimental to the story.
Now.... Let's talk about the MC a little..... Honestly he's very mid.On one hand i appreciate the fact he doesn't spare his enemies so he ca…

I'm going to try to keep this as short as possible, with no major spoilers.
First of all, I just want to say I can understand why people dislike this show. It's certainly not for everyone. It has many flaws, and its certainly nowhere close to perfect. But, despite this, it also has a lot of things that it does RIGHT, which is why I am still giving it a 10.
Lets talk about the flaws first. The animation isn't amazing. If you waltz into the show expecting jjk style visuals, you're going to be disappointed. But the thing is, you get used to after a while and forget about it after a few episodes. And its not *bad* bad, its just... mid.
Another major flaw that some would argue that this show has is its harem aspect. Now this... is not entirely true. The MC clearly prioritizes ONE girl from…

Was the animation good? NO! It was some of the worst animation I've ever seen. The animation was so bad that it's slightly funny and almost unbearable. Was the music good? Yes and no. There were parts where it's really good and parts where it's forced and bad. How was the pacing? It's slow on occasion - especially when I wanted to fast forward through the fighting scenes... Did any of the above matter? I guess it does matter but that doesn't stop me from loving this series and thinking it's a masterpiece. I really loved this anime.
Why is this a masterpiece? This is a masterpiece simply because of how razor-sharp the main character is. The way he deals with his harem is very fun to watch. The way he deals with people outside of his harem is very fun to watch. I found this anime by Google…

This is genuinely one of the WORST anime I have ever watched. I have watched quite a lot of isekai like a ton idk why I was so obsessed with the genre like 4 years ago but I was and this shit just so happened to be one so I was like "why not!" And that was a mistake this anime is what every middle schooler wishes their life was like none of the characters are written with a shred of personality or interesting character arcs everyone is just static and annoying and the animation is horrendous why does this have a positive rating??????

Such a failed Solo Leveling... The beginning gives us a weak hero who by coincidence becomes a "monster" (not literally) and at the same time apparently becomes a complete idiot without a shred of empathy?! The hero Hajime is simply not a classic protagonist that you like, even though he is not exactly unpleasant, Yue and Shea complement him reasonably and actually thanks to them there is sometimes a bit of humor, but the whole thing is such a bland, unsalty anime that has its ups and downs (more like the downs). Unfortunately, the strange animation of the monsters and the mediocre fight sequences ruin the experience of the action and the mixing of modern elements like a car or a motorbike really kicks it up a notch. I'm not exactly enthusiastic, but I'll try to continue watching.

Arifureta: From Commonplace to Trash-tier Heroine
You know, Arifureta could’ve been a decent isekai. Not groundbreaking, not revolutionary, but at least something enjoyable if handled with care. Instead, what we got feels like someone dumped three different drafts of bad fanfiction into a blender, sprinkled in some cringe dialogue, and hit “puree.”
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room: Yue. Supposedly the main heroine. Supposedly the eternal vampire waifu. In reality? The most aggressively bland “I’m totally mysterious and mature but actually just thirsty 24/7” character ever written. She’s not a love interest, she’s a walking horny on main energy drink. Every scene she’s in feels less like romance and more like someone trying to ship Hajime with a malfunctioning dating sim NPC.

It's like Solo leveling, but it's a harem isekai. Also, it had a lobotomy. The animation is worse, the power fantasy is worse, and the plot is worse.
Now, Solo Leveling is one of the best power fantasies out there, so "worse than the best" leaves a lot of headroom to be at least decent. But this show doesn't even manage that. For starters, the tone is all over the place. My preference for shows are ones that are "serious but not grimdark". This series manages the impressive feat of being both above *and* below that mark at almost all times. It starts off excessively dark and angsty, with lingering scenes of suffering and wallowing in misery as the protagonist Hajime acquires his powers. Then the bunny girl shows up and starts acting goofier than Jar Jar Binks, and out comes a parade of lo…

Lately, I've found myself falling into this deep rabbit hole of isekai anime. There's just something wildly entertaining about ordinary people being thrown into fantasy worlds with magic, monsters, and way too much responsibility. One random evening, a close friend of mine, who usually gets my taste right, suggested Arifureta. I’d heard mixed things before — some people hate it, some love it — so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But hey, I gave it a shot.
And… it was surprisingly good.
Not masterpiece good, but like, "yo, this is actually kind of fun" good.
The show kicks off like your typical isekai - a whole classroom of students summoned into a fantasy world to become heroes. Except it immediately swerves left when Hajime, our MC, gets betrayed by a classmate and literally dropped into…

Never in my 25 years on this planet did I expected to see an anime unironically go for the "5000-year-old immortal vampire loli" trope and expected its audience to take it seriously. Everything from the animation and CGI are terrible, the setting is so cliche and uninteresting, I legitimately cannot tell you a name of a single location after just finishing this show. The characters are so 1-dimensional, you can summarize their entire character, story, and motivation in one sentence. I'm aware that this show isn't made to be the next AOT, but even taking it as just a fun, goofy, adventure with a ton of fanservice, I don't get the appeal. Even comparing it to something as old as Highschool DXD, the fanservice is just. . . boring.
I understand that the show suffered from a poor adaptation a…

The overall direction of the show is absolutely horrendous. Almost everything about this show is a trope of some sort, and there is absolutely nothing new here. No novel moral questions, no novel payoffs for early setup. It is just a show that serves to provide a badass always-right MC who gets all the ladies and is the strongest now because life is so hard. The show bends over backwards to make the MC justified in doing insane shit like killing people without remorse. While in-universe this is partially because he isn't fully human anymore, the story never uses that to even slightly justify it, and it's mainly just a shitty excuse he uses since he still clearly feels emotions.
That being said, the plot and premise is the least of this shows issues. The more obvious issue is that the stru…

A lot of people like to constantly point out the fair art at best and the insane fanfare. No one really points out how well the show gives you a good set up of everything you need to know with only basic information. The show gives the viewers the benefit of the doubt that they are not completely stupid. And giving you a full insane detail for the whole story would not only make this show unnecessarily long but boring and insulting to those of us in the world who can fill in the blanks because we aren't complete morons.

Edgy MC Get Commented By His Wives
Start out promising in a funny way, where we just see a man pick himself up by his bootstrap, and becoming the funniest Edgy character I couldn imagine. it's such a funny start.
the character design is not the most original thing but it looks good and has a fine Elegance to it because of the thin character line.
The action scenes look good and that Jazzy soundtracks really help with making it feel cool.
It is fun in the beginning, but it has the problem, that many isekai anime has where the First season is fun, but it loses steam fast after this. the story just flops around and don't know what really to do other than prolong itself.
the anime kind of teaches you to don't really care about the plot, I mean the main character doesn't care about the dee…
