School Babysitters

School Babysitters

Introduction

After losing both parents in a fatal plane crash, teenager Ryuuichi Kashima must adjust to his new life as the guardian of his younger brother Kotarou. Although Ryuuichi is able to maintain a friendly and kindhearted demeanor, Kotarou is a reserved toddler still too young to understand the reality of the situation. At their parents' funeral, they are approached by Youko Morinomiya, the stern chairman of an elite academy, who decides to take them under her care. However, there is one condition Ryuuichi must fulfill in exchange for a roof over their heads and enrollment in the school—he must become the school's babysitter. In an effort to support the female teachers at the academy, a babysitter's club was established to look after their infant children; unfortunately, the club is severely short-staffed, so now not only is Ryuuichi responsible for his little brother, but also a handful of toddlers who possess dynamic personalities. Insanely wholesome and had a great time watching this - such a comfort show - love the way the little children are portrayed in this and they are so adorable - just little moving beans and love how they all talk - got the obvious three way crush on the MC which it doesn’t take to serious and I like how both girls bond over the crush they have and how oblivious the mc is to it - Maria really reminded me of Noelle from black clover for some reason and I love it they way she’s so stuck up but has the shy cute side to her - the backstory of the MC being alone and only having kotaro is also pretty emotional which is something I wasn’t expecting - overall had a great time watching this

School Babysitters is one of the most wholesome and comforting anime I’ve ever watched. From the very first episode, it immediately creates this warm, soft atmosphere that feels like a hug after a long day. The real highlight of this anime is, without a doubt, the little kids. They are absolutely adorable in every way — from their innocent reactions, tiny voices, and chaotic energy to the way they interact with the older students. Every scene with the babies feels genuine and heart-melting. I found myself smiling almost the entire time just because of how cute and funny they are. What makes the series even better is how it balances cuteness with subtle emotional depth. It doesn’t just rely on being “cute,” but also shows themes of family, responsibility, and healing after loss in a very…

" Chad babies " I am a sucker of slice of life anime specially with centric themes which include a emotional depth in series and gakuen babysitters fits the spot perfectly . The whole story is about a schooling boy who is pretty good in taking care of babies . Through story telling you can tell that author has a very good understanding of toddlers and young kids. This anime manages to be charming and cute yet at the same time includes some genuine drama and moments of shyness . This anime had amazing voice actors, great animation, great life lessons. The storytelling was not fast paced they just showed us wholesome moments and quality content in their life with a very subtle life story in the background. The atmosphere was always heartwarming, got some great characters, this is a happy a…

The first time I saw it, I just watched to pass my time, but years later, when I rewatched this, THIS TIME I CRIED. Why? Because now I know what it feels like to be a grown person even before adult age. So, there will be some moments that might not make you cry if you are a teen, but boy if you are in your late 20's or 30's you are gonna cry. In a sentence, it's a comfort anime. I have to say one thing--the writer of this anime observed toddlers, the way they behave and how easily they catch emotions; is just something that you won't understand until you are responsible for a baby. The art style isn't something I will praise, because that's literally the typical anime style art, nothing much, I can not even judge the animations since it doesn't have much of a scene that requires WOW styl…

A very cute show that was executed very well. I love the concept of a babysitting club/service inside of a middle school. That barely happens at a regular middle school. Not like I've been to middle school in the first place anyway so who am I to say that? But still, normally, a club/service for looking after toddlers and babies doesn't exist unless you're going to preschool, so seeing that in a freaking middle school? I'm shocked. Speaking of which, the characters were also enjoyable. Especially the children. All of them seemed to fit in the cozy vibe that the show delivers and makes the show rather comforting. But we all know that the best part were the children. They were adorable as HECK! Especially Midori, the baby. Who is personally my favourite character in the show. I would say t…

School Babysitters frames a heartwarming slice-of-life story that combines family, friendship, and light comedy within a school setting. The narrative follows Ryūichi Kashima, a compassionate high school student who unexpectedly becomes the caretaker of his younger brother Kotarō after their parents die in a plane crash. Struggling with new responsibilities, Ryūichi joins a unique program at Morinomiya Academy, where students volunteer to care for infants and toddlers while balancing their own studies. The story explores the joys, challenges, and growth that come with nurturing young children and the bonds formed between caregivers and those they watch over. The plot focuses on the day-to-day experiences of Ryūichi and his interactions with both children and fellow student caregivers. Each…

Gakuen Babysitters is one of those series that just warms your heart. It’s a mix of cute, funny, and emotional moments that make you smile, laugh, and sometimes even tear up a little. It’s all about everyday adventures taking care of a bunch of toddlers, and honestly, it’s way more entertaining than you’d expect. The characters are what really make this series shine. Ryuuichi is such a caring and lovable person, and Kotarou? Probably one of the cutest anime kids ever. The toddlers all have their own unique personalities, and their interactions with the babysitters feel so real and natural. There’s also a nice balance between heartwarming moments and comedy. Some scenes are really relatable if you’ve ever been around little kids. This is one of the anime that make me feel at home, I constan…

As a big brother myself, I totally connected with this anime on a deep level. I mean, who hasn't had to deal with a pesky little sibling at some point, right? This anime is all about the slice of life, and boy, does it deliver! It's like they took all the relatable moments from our childhood and put them into a beautiful, heartwarming package. I found myself laughing, smiling, and even tearing up at times (don't tell anyone, though!). Kotarou, the little dude, is literally the star of the show. His antics had me cracking up, and his curiosity is so infectious! But what really got me was the way the anime portrayed the bond between him and his big brother, Ryuuichi. I mean, I've been in those shoes before, and it's amazing how accurately they captured the ups and downs of siblinghood. No…

the saving grace of this anime was Umehara Yuuichirou (voices Kamitani Hayato, which was such a blessed surprise for me) and the cuteness of Kotarou really. the kids were also adorable in their absolutely cheery, indescribable kiddy way. story - umm, there really isn't any but at least it's wholesome ig? characters - my umehara biased-ass likes Hayato best art - looked straight out of 2008/2010 really than 2018 -standard that's all there is really - this is a pretty laid back anime - a bit 'too' laid back maybe cause this anime doesn't really accomplish much - in all honesty idk what that premise was other than to show a bunch of cute kid characters and they shenanigans which i'm sure there is a (RIGHT) audience for - i know i did find some episodes cute and fluffy but that's kind of i…

I'm pretty sure it's one of my favorite non-romance shoujo right now. I would be very happy if there were more episodes of the anime, I am completely in love with the children and I will definitely read the manga. Story: The story really knows how to hold you in, not using devices like "Oh my god, what will happen in the next episode?", but rather making you love each of the characters and having so much fun watching the anime that you don't notice the time passing. The anime itself doesn't bring very strong messages, but it does have some symbolic messages. Art: It doesn't deviate much from the standards of something basic, but it has its own style that if I saw another similar work I would know that it was by the same author. Sound: Again, nothing too new, but I can't pretend that the…

Gakuen Babysitters is incredibly endearing. The plot itself is simple, a daycare. Yet, I felt attached to the characters and there were times I felt like how one of the characters felt. The show does a flawless job at showing kids being kids and the bond between siblings. The art is simple yet beautiful and effective, the voice acting (in both English and Japanese) was very well done, and the music for the opening and ending were light hearted and catchy. Comedy also made an impact on the show. Despite a few heavy scenes every so often, there was always a time where I was laughing. A rollercoaster of emotions. You will love this show if you: - Like children - Are a child at heart - If you enjoy sentimental experiences

Oh, Gakuen Babysitters, what a delightful little anime. The story follows the adventures of Ryuuichi and Kotarou Kashima, two brothers who are left orphaned after their parents pass away in a plane crash. Lucky for them, they're taken in by the chairwoman of a prestigious academy who runs a daycare on campus, and they become babysitters for the other students. Now, the style of this anime is nothing to write home about. It's your standard cutesy slice-of-life fare with big-eyed characters and bright colors. But hey, if you're into that sort of thing, you'll probably enjoy it. As for the main characters, well, Ryuuichi is your typical responsible older brother, while Kotarou is a precocious little scamp. The other kids at the daycare are a colorful bunch, but none of them really stand out…

So cute!!! This anime is the best anime when you want to relax from a deep or dark anime and want to experience the cuteness of the anime world. Ahhhhh! Kotarou is just too cute for my heart!!! I can't help but scream when he does anything. His expressionless but cuteness overload is just too much for me. Ryuuichi is really sweet aswell. At some points I would feel a little sorry for him always babysitting when there are plenty of other clubs that he could go to. But he's just really responsible and a great brother, anybody would love to have. This is a light anime, great for anybody to watch, highly recommended.

I needed a feel good anime... and ohhh boy, did I find it! I binged this adorable anime SO QUICKLY! Let's get right into the anime basics. Story; The two brothers, Kotarou and Ryuuichi Kashima, lose their free spirited parents to a plan crash and have no where to go. Thankfully, a rich chairwoman of a school adopts these boys, but in return for taking them in they have to work for the babysitter club in the middle/high-school that take cares of the teachers toddlers during the day. Kotarou grows, they learn to cry and accept the lost of their parents, gain new friends/family and always get into some sort of adorable trouble... YOU KNOW It's a good Shoujo anime when you cry at the end of the first episode. Art; The animation is clean, and I haven't picked up the manga YET... but if the kid…

Just a fun little anime about babysitting as a high school club. The focus is on both the adult characters and the wholesome lives of the children we watch grow, making it a heartwarming and enjoyable watch. There's not a huge focus on having a whole story, but nonetheless this anime is great if you just want a break from more plot-driven or fight-driven animes. I guess this is a slice of life anime, so if you're not interested you're not interested. But it was a fun anime, and it didn't feel too short nor too sad when I watched the last episode and special. Overall, this anime is quite a positive joyride when you just need to watch something wholesome and calming for once.

Not much to say, one anime to watch if you're bored or want to have a cute overdose. Every episode was such a good time for me, I love babys and casually found this anime on Instagram and decided to watch it, 4 days of pure happiness, couldn't binge watch it in 1 or 2 days because I had to study and also hanged out with friends but a incredibly enjoyful anime that can make a smile in your face and all the babys were so cute, Kotaro was the special one that put a smile in my face every time. Story 7, neutral because it almost doesn't have. Art, 9, the characters are well drawn. Sound, 9, very good work from the seiyuus. Enjoyment 10, nothing to say, just that this anime was created with that purpose. An 8 for overall.

(Spoilers) Overall 8/10 - This anime was just absolutely adorable and cute, start to finish and I loved it. Story 7/10- Not really a story in this anime but it is about two brothers, Ryuuichi Kashima and Kotarou Kashima who had lost their parents to a plane crash so they had no one to go back to but luckily they were adopted by a chairman named Youko Morinomiya. Since Ryuuichi doesn't have anyone to look after his younger whilst he is at school, he leaves him at a babysitting club where we meet the other kids, with Yoshihito who looks after the kids and so we see how everyone is getting along with each other. Nothing really much to say about the story of the anime but it is sad to see how Ryuuichi and Kotarou lose their parents to basically set the events for them to meet the rest of the…

This is probably the cutest anime I've ever watched, being the only one to have so many characters that are children. I'd been wanting to watch Gakuen Babysitters for a while, as an easy to watch, casual anime. This is perfect for wanting to take a break from plot and character driven animes. There's only a number of animes I've seen that match that description and this one doesn't disappoint. I can admit the MC isn't all that special. He's really kind, adores his brother, never gets angry and his main priority is honestly his brother. But I'm a softie for characters (and obviously people) that are good with children and Ryuuichi, as the other main babysitter, is just that. Despite him not being that special, the other characters are all lively and have big personalities. They're funny…

This is such a sweet and warm slice of life anime! I'm sooo glad i watched it coz its been on my list forever! A story about two brothers survival after their parents death. its a 12 anime series where in every episode there are 2 short stories. It makes it a lot easier to digest and hang on to. The characters are sweet and cute most of them being babies<3 the older cast is also pretty good. there is a hint of highschool romance and nostalgia. I would recommend this to everyone who is looking for a everyday normal life obstacles and fun.

Gakuen Babysitters is really cute for what it is. It's about babies. I’m not a baby person per se but babies are cute, and that’s the only cute thing about the whole show. Rest of the characters are as archetypical as they can get. The story thrives on cliché after cliché. In a nutshell the main focus of the show is sibling love between Kotaro and Ryuichiro. Of course such a setup always has potential if one wants to work with it. This is a slice of life theme that will never get boring. You know, babies grow up, they mature, brothers can drift apart, growing up is hard etc. etc. It’s supposed to be relatable. Except in Gakuen babysitter it’s just a superficial and cutesy shojo anime without any real substance. For those who enjoy these overused tropes all in one, it’s a nice time pass. T…
