It's like The Boys meets Power Rangers but in the perspective of a pawn. The show really kinda confuses you on what side you're on.
The animation was alright, but the show felt quite slow-paced for the amount of action I was expecting, so it felt more like I wanted to get to the end as fast as possible, but couldn't get satisfied with how much happened. I was confused with what shounen meant and was expecting gore, but it was actually pretty tame.
If you're looking to watch this anime, just look out for the amount of small build-ups and idleness there might be; the action scenes feel mostly like fillers here.

I basically forced myself through the first season of Sentai Daishikkaku because I kept waiting for it to get better like the ratings suggested, and it just never did. It sat at this really frustrating level of “not awful, just mediocre” all the way to the end.
What I expected vs what I got
On paper, it should have worked for me. I like isekai, I like fighting shows, and I am more than up for a sentai deconstruction with a villain grunt trying to take down the “heroes” from the inside. The early episodes tease something sharper and darker, with hints of The Boys style “the heroes are actually awful” energy, so I kept waiting for the show to lean into that properly. Instead it settles into this weird middle ground where it never commits to being properly nasty, properly funny, or properly…

An anime that asks "What if those basic enemies actually tried?".
First, the bad. The anime itself is a sprinting mess. While well animated, it jumps very quickly from one arc to the next. There is barely any characterization outside of our MC. The "Rangers" themselves get some backstory, but It's not enough to redeem them.
The good: Very well animated. The english dub is great. It has a few twists that are somewhat easy to predict, but still good.
If you have time to kill and feel like rooting for an idiot to have revenge, give it a watch. But, I may reccomend anything else if you require more substance in your anime. Better as background noise

Sentai Daishikkaku is an unusual anime that struggles with consistency. The early episodes feel like a cringe Power Rangers parody—so embarrassing that I almost looked away—yet somehow it stays entertaining and oddly addictive.
The MC often acts inconsistently, especially when facing enemies. He wants to defeat them, but his reactions contradict that goal—getting confused or emotional the moment a villain is actually taken down. On top of that, his identity as a monster going completely unnoticed feels strange in a world that’s supposed to be heavily monitored.
In terms of action and villains, the anime doesn’t deliver the impact you’d expect from a typical shounen. The monsters and boss characters look fairly plain, and the MC’s weak power scaling leaves no real “cool” or hype moments t…

I'm not a big power ranger fan or anything. I watched it as a kid, but I haven't kept up with it. You only need to get the basic concept to enjoy this spin on it. Go Go Loser Ranger really steps it up in terms of character design, and action feeling like they have some meaning. This show keeps you guessing as to what will happen next, and the fight scenes seem purposeful and realistic as to the in universe mechanics.
There was a few things that kept me from giving this a higher score. One, some character actions seem a little illogical, but a lot of character are portrayed as not being mentally sane. Like just a basic thing of killing an enemy you could interrogate to find out more. Stuff like that. Also, sometimes weapon power seems inconsistent. Like a laser is powerful enough to blow a…

Evil Power Rangers?
Evil Justice League??
The Boyz… but animated??
Bruh, I had mad high expectations, and this anime did not disappoint. Every episode hits with a twist, every ending got me saying, “One more episode… just one more.” The story’s fire asf, full of plot twists when you least expect them. I was glued the whole time.
The art style is newer anime vibes—nothing crazy like Demon Slayer, but it gets the job done and fits the story perfectly.
The pacing? Phenomenal. They don’t drag scenes, they don’t drag backstories. You get what you need to know and move on. No filler, no wasted time.

How do you define justice when the so-called protectors of humanity hide their tyranny behind masks of righteousness? Go Go Loser Ranger presents a satirical take on the tokusatsu and sentai genre that blending absurd comedy with self-aware meta-commentary. The story follows a group of underperforming heroes, the titular “Loser Rangers,” whose missions often go awry due to incompetence, miscommunication, and sheer bad luck. Unlike typical sentai narratives where teamwork and heroism are idealized, this series emphasizes failure, humiliation, and the humorous consequences of overambition. Each episode chronicles the Rangers’ chaotic attempts to save the day frequently undermined by their own ineptitude and the eccentric quirks of their adversaries, while creating a comedy of errors that sat…

The Boys meets Power Rangers is the common comparison of this work, and its not hard to see why. A world we have seen before in many of the Sentai set up formats, evil bad guys want to take over the world who can only be stopped by the Keepers (rangers/riders), where they put on a heroic fight against the bad guys every Sunday, where Justice has prevailed for the last 998 fights. However, unbeknownst to the rest of the population, this is all a show, the evil organization was beaten years ago, but to keep their fame and power the rangers made an agreement with the Dusters (puddy patrol/generic henchmen), who can regenerate themselves. Put up with the facade and they can be allowed to live, or fight and join their former monster bosses in the afterlife. This agreement was honored until the…

This anime highlights a common issue with 12-episode seasons. While there was some development and story progression, it often felt rushed—as if parts were cut or heavily compressed to fit within the short runtime. The world clearly has more depth and potential for a compelling narrative, but that potential was squeezed into a format that didn’t allow it to fully shine.
The art style is decent. It’s nothing particularly unique or eye-catching, but it does its job and supports the story well enough.
Overall, this season feels more like a setup for a bigger and better second season. While it had its moments, the pacing and limited depth held it back. I can’t give it more than a 6/10 for now, but I’m hopeful they’ll really deliver something stronger in the next one.

Not recommended if you have a working brain. But if you are one of those who "turn off" their brain to enjoy, you could like it.
If you don't like an insane amount of nonsense, incoherence and random stuff, but specially a scale of power that can change so dramatically that some weak character can beat one of the strongest without any previous explanation. Also the intentions of the characters change a lot without much sense, so, avoid this.
The mix between humor and "serious" combination doesn't work properly.
I don't mind art or music, so i judged this for its plot, which is horrendous, the premise was good and refreshing, but the execution was horrible and full on nonsense.

Must watch.
Sentai daishikkaku offers not just a great deconstruction of an already existing genre but also interesting visuals and a humor that lands every single time, it understands itself and plays with the absurdity of the events to its own advantage while not sacrificing impactful moments.
The side characters are amazing and interesting, they are not dumbed down for the sake of the plot at all and their personalities bounce of each other greatly.
The main character is just great on every scene and the voice acting is incredible.
If you are looking for something thats easy to enjoy definitely check this one out.

well, I actually enjoyed the 1st season a little bit, so I generally recommend giving it a chance. BUT I actually see a two main problems:
the first one is the story, or more to do with the characters. in a lot of time I was confused about the goals and purpose of a lot of the characters, and I even found it to be contradictory. I believe that because the amount of the deleted content from the manga, so they couldn't take their time in building the characters.
second is the production. its a little bit in the bad side, not to the unwatchable category, not even close.
my rating is based on the rough amount of joy. not an objective one

Go Go Loser Ranger isn’t exactly the most original concept out there, as it’s basically The Boys meets Power Rangers, but damn are the first three episodes a blast.
After that, though, the animation quality noticeably dips. To be fair, it’s not backed by a big-name studio, so that was somewhat expected. What’s more disappointing is the decline in story quality, pacing, character development, and overall composition. Mid way it starts to feel a bit repetitive and exhausting.
Episode three had me hooked so hard I binge-watched the whole series, only to end up a bit let down. Every scene feels like it’s played out the same way, like the creators only know one formula for story arcs. For example, D does something offscreen, and then the next episode shows what he does, even though it seems l…

This hooked me right from the start, first as a subversive take on sentai hero teams and their evil enemies, and then as maybe a thoughtful critique. Without knowing anything about the creative team's intent, it seems like a critique of being told to know your place and play your role in society.
It's a well done story with a lot of surprises to come (I wanna know what that little dragon guy's deal is). The action is engagung, and the way our relatively weak protagonist has to outwit his opponents is fun to watch. The villains seem like pretty twisted human beings (Red and Pink especially), but so far they've been given some background and depth that help make things more complex and satisfying. If any part of this show has caught your eye, please watch, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

have no problem with the story—on the contrary, I found the concept original, fresh, and pretty well executed. It's even an excellent discovery in terms of narrative. Unfortunately, it's on the animation side that things fall short.
I felt like I was watching a weekly anime, like one that airs an episode every week non-stop for long periods, like Naruto, One Piece, or Black Clover during their weaker phases—even though this anime isn't supposed to be that way. And yet, even those shows did better at times. We're in an era where most anime take breaks to deliver high-quality episodes. I don't understand how, with such great source material like the manga, they could mess up the animation of some important fights.
There was epic potential you could feel it... but something was missing. The…

Gives me The boys or invincible vibes which i absoluely love at first i thought it would be trash but after a couple of episode when u absorb the context they give you, it start to become more enjoyable and also more gory it said pg which made me want to drop it first episode because i thought this is something for children but you start to see gore and death which raises the stakes besides for our MC but its a good watch and the story takes a turn and becomes way more interesting, i never thought i would enjoy something with power ranger but superheroes being mental is something i gravitate more maybe because of watch The Boys which is a 10 for me so if you like dark and funny show with an interesting story id give this a watch

“Go! Go! Loser Ranger!” is what happens when a pretty good idea is held down by a terrible mismatched mix of genres.
I’m a sucker for genre deconstructions. My favourite story of this type, and in general, is “Miracleman” by Alan Moore. Needless to say that when I read the synopsis for “Go! Go! Loser Ranger!” I was hyped. I thought it would be a Super Sentai deconstruction in a similar way that “The Watchmen” (also by Alan Moore) or “The Boys” were a deconstruction of Marvel and DC superheroes and… to a degree it is. It has some elements of a competent deconstruction but is held back by terrible comedy timing and the absurd world it takes place in. Does that make it a bad anime? I don’t think so. It does however make it less than competent deconstruction. I warn You to keep that in mind i…

The anime started off great unique idea and i hoped it will be funnier and more like the name of the anime
it was Good idea and excellent first 2 chapters.
After that I just felt like I didn't like the direction the series was going.
The pace of the plot is slow.
A very shallow and flat plot, there isn't too much background story for either the heroes or the bad guys.
The opening and ending song are very good.
I liked the character design the art really fit the story.
I give it a score of 6 and I hope you will enjoy it more then i did
next season will be more interesting i hope.

It's a fun little show, but not really one that invokes much thought. After all, the show is basically still a shounen show, except that it's the inverse of what usually happens. Our main character is a nameless "Fighter D," fighting for the evil organization versus the supposed righteous Super Sentai.
Well, at least the setting explains most of it. Our main character's not programmed to be very smart. He's just an expendable minion, so he kind of has an infantile worldview of things and can't be very scheming as a result. He's trying to infiltrate the super sentai organization, but he can't help but slip up and require assistance from others due to his simplemindedness. He has the mindset of a evil minion, which is world domination as an evil organization, and it shows in his mannerisms…

Very interesting concept
The "not everything is as it seems" plot has always been one that fascinated me, and Loser Ranger, though not perfect, was off to a great start, with a flowing pace and wacky characters ready to pull you into their world, all complimented by the stunning visuals
I do have one major issue with this series though, and that is it's ending
The last 4 or so episodes were extreamly rushed, packing in so many character interactions, backstories, new introductions, to the point it just felt like a convoluted mess, i find this to be quite a pity
The Blue Keeper, who was becoming a fav of mine, had some very emotional scenes that would've hit so much harder had they taken the time to flesh out his character instead of condencing his arc to half an episode, and he's not the…
