To be honest, I didn't know what I was getting into when I decided to watch Kimi Ni.
Simple as it is, I was very surprised by how school drama and romance between lovers can take place in my heart.
In matter of fact, this is the first romance/slice-of-life type anime series that I have ever watched.
I really liked the atmosphere, the focus on the little things that, for some people, can be very casual to ignore,
The main characters taught me that love doesn't need to be obvious and exist when feelings appear, It takes time and patience until the emotions meet; just let it flow.
Simple, emotional, charming, comfortable, and right on time in life. ❤️✨

Kimi ni Todoke 3rd Season was a lovely continuation of a story I have always found incredibly comforting. After following Sawako and Kazehaya for so long, it was nice to see their relationship continue to grow and become more mature without losing the sweetness that makes the series so special.
What I particularly enjoyed was that the season did not focus exclusively on the main couple. Seeing the other characters deal with their own feelings, insecurities, and complicated relationships gave the story more emotional depth. Some of the misunderstandings can still be frustrating at times—because, honestly, these characters really need to learn how to communicate—but that has always been part of the charm of Kimi ni Todoke.
The atmosphere remains gentle, wholesome, and nostalgic, making it fe…

Absolutely incredible third season and easily the best season of the show - each couple is firing on all cylinders - kento really becomes likeable and a really nice genuine guy this season which is a good think since I hated him in season 2 - Ryu and chizuru are once again my standout tho they are just so incredibly wholesome and the slow burn it just so warm and fun to watch - the charachter development of sawako from where she began is genuinely outstanding and I’m sorry proud of the character she becomes and it is a joy to watch whereas Kazehaya really ticked me off this season - it’s as if he went backwards and everything he built had just disappeared - in the end tho all is well and all the pairs end up having a fantastic conclusion in the series - onto the manga now

Solid and wholesome like the previous two. The fact that Studio I.G. maintained the same exact artstyle after 13 years is impressive. Please note that there's only 5 episodes because each episode has a 1 hour runtime, and because Production I.G. partnered with Netflix on this one. Season 3 of Kimi ni Todoke continues to define Kazehaya and Sawako's relationship. However, it does so at a snails pace (you'll understand why). For me, I think this season has a more serious tone to it. Chibi comedy is still there, but they're less intertwined with the drama and heartfelt moments. I don't know. It feels like this season is slightly less funnier compared to previous ones. However, it makes up for it with the dramatic scenes and emotional moments. And is it just me, or did Kazehaya's Japanese VA c…

Fine, twist my arm, will you? I'll review it.
I had no idea this season even airing. I only found out now, because I just rewatched the series. And after the disaster that the 2nd one was, I was not really hyped. But I was willing enough. The high ratings also helped.
So. Visuals. Well, we have the usual stuff that happens with series that pan over a long period of time. We got a mix of the old aesthetics drawn using modern techniques. Stuff that was funny and endearing in the 1st season, looks silly now, but we also got super amazing shots and vibrant colours etc. The cinematography is meh, the animation feels meh. Because of the "themes" for this season, we get lots and lots of pink bubbles, and shapes, and tinted layer. Lucky us... But yeah, those super amazing shots do make for great…

Season 3 feels like a gift to longtime fans. It doesn’t rely on big drama or shocking twists—instead, it chooses to focus on the small, quiet things that make a relationship feel real.
What stood out the most to me is how the anime shows that communication isn’t always smooth. Even someone as green-flag as Kazehaya still gets nervous, embarrassed, and insecure. Sawako doesn’t suddenly become good at expressing herself or magically understand everything either. They move forward slowly, but steadily—and that’s exactly what makes it so sweet.
Another thing that makes this season stand out is how the friend group also grows. It’s not just about Sawako and Kazehaya. Their friends have their own stories and development, and it makes the world feel alive. Sawako’s life doesn’t revolve solely a…

Like the others one, this season was really good, with no doubt this anime is one of the best ever created when we talk about romance and it's one of my fav's.
First when i saw it has 5 ep's about a hour long each i was confused, but every one of them was gone in an instant, they we re so good and the ideea wasnt bad at all i would say, i really enjoyed it anyway.
The story continues and it gives us more than we wanted, we had our happy moments but a bit sad one's tho, anyway i can see the good in every one of them.

kazehaya is the most rage baiting male main character that i have ever seen, he is not that bad as a character but he's just so boring and plain. he does most of the time nothing in the series, and he just stresses sawako about their relationship because he barely talked to her.
apart from that the series was a very good one, vere wholesome and sweet. i really liked watching it, anyone who likes romance would like this one too. It has a bit drama into it too, but the story was very good with the characters. the characters had sometimes miscomunacations (or however you spell that) and that annoyed me a bit but overall a very good series

So season three of this show dropped after a long time from the original two and it seems to be a wrap up of the show with ending at Christmas, which is a great time and all the characters stories being tied up in a nice little bow which is nice when you spend almost 20+ hours watching the show.
That being said for what it was it was good. I enjoyed it and made me realise I might have been a bit too harsh on the last couple of seasons. Because this was actually good.
Apparently, season four might be coming because it hasn’t covered the manga, but I’m not sure that was just a quick Google so we will have to see it might be a movie rather than a season but I also wouldn’t be surprised if this was the end of the story because of how it finishes and ends all the stories
Overall, it was good…

Kimi ni Todoke is one of the more well-known anime from the shoujo genre. The third season is certainly an improvement from the first two, but it still suffers from the same issues as the first two seasons. Now, before we start, I’d like to say that I’m a sucker for romance anime, I’ve watched way too many. And also, I’m a fan of slow-burn. Which is 100% what Kimi no Todoke is. (Also, apologies if Kimi no Todoke is written where Kimi ni Todoke should be, autocorrect is not on my side today.)
The side characters of Kimi ni Todoke really get to shine in this season, and I’d say that’s the best aspect of it. Sawako (MC) still takes center stage, and is still—as always, her wholesome, kind self, and watching her explore her new experiences is definitely a highlight, but these are unfortunatel…

Few anime go as long between seasons as this one. In the time between season 2 and season 3, the landscape of anime romances has changed a lot—partly due to the influences of this series. As much as I could talk about the legacy of Kimi ni Todoke, lets get to season 3 itself.
While the hard work of becoming a couple was resolved in season 2, this season was Shouta and Sawako trying to discover what that means. While they come to terms with that by the end of the season, you could argue that the real focus was the deepening ties and relationship re-evaluation between Chizuru and Ryuu. We already knew about Ryuu's feelings, but now Chizuru was made to starkly and painfully reflect over her relationship with him and it's evolution over the years. This dynamic is the near-highlight of the se…

You know how you can watch a hundred different anime shows — action, romance, comedy, whatever — but there’s always that one that stays in your heart forever? That one show that doesn't just entertain you but makes you feel something deep, something you can’t even properly explain with words? For me, that anime is Kimi ni Todoke, and after finishing Season 3… I don’t think I’ll ever be the same.
I’ve never been in love myself, but watching Sawako go through her journey felt like I was experiencing it for the first time too. From being misunderstood and called “Sadako” to becoming this blooming, vibrant girl — it’s like watching a flower finally get sunlight. I genuinely smiled when she smiled, and felt that lump in my throat when she was sad. It’s crazy how connected I felt.
Sawako is...…

I really like this fiction. Sawako is the kind of person I want in my life. Honda Tohru and Sawako are very special characters for me, I think their kindness reflects a really beautiful point of view. I've watched this anime many times, I've read the manga and I've enjoyed the new season even after all these years. I wish it was longer and we could see more of it, but it's better than nothing. If you are looking for a quality shoujo, Kimi ni Todoke is a good fiction. Shouta can be frustrating sometimes, he's really secretive and really stubborn, but it's nice that he eventually finds the right path. Even though he's a good person, sometimes I feel like Sawako deserves so much better, but since she chose Shouta, I've accepted it. I also love the friendships here, and I really enjoyed Ryu an…

When I rewatched the two prior seasons a couple of years ago I found the story to be too frustrating a lot of the time, so I was curious to know what I was going to think about this 3rd season. I’m glad to say that this season was so much fun and it’s such a faithful adaptation to the manga, it was impressive.
The animation was incredible all the way through, seriously amazing af. I hadn’t seen such quality given to a romance anime in a loooong time.
The story is as lovely as I remember reading the manga, tho I had blocked all the annoying parts. Kazehaya is such a moron this season, which is sooooo frustrating after that incredible first chapter. The reason for him being such a moron is so dumb and I find it even insulting tbh. I love him, but good God, his behavior during most of thi…

Honestly, I disliked the first two seasons, but as a completionist, I still forced myself through them. (first world problems, I know) When season 3 came out, I hesitated to watch it, and I didn't plan to at first. However, after seeing the high reviews, and having some time on my hands, I decided to give it a chance.
And I'm glad I did.
The pacing of the story feels much better than before. The first two seasons feel like a slog to watch through even at 1.5x speed, but this season feels just right. I don't feel like it is wasting the viewers' time with anything pointless. There are some moments where I felt tense, and I genuinely can't wait for the next episode after each.
The drama of the previous seasons felt manufactured, like they were begging you to cry and feel bad for Sawako. Th…

Yet another Anime with a loser MC guy
Over the past few weeks, I binge-watched Kimi ni Todoke from season 1 through season 3. While this series is undeniably wholesome and heartwarming, it has some problems too. At the heart of its flaws lies the protagonist, Kazehaya.
Let me be blunt: Kazehaya is a cuck. Kazehaya is not as bad as the MCs cucks you see in other romance series, but he's getting close there. The deeper you dive into the story, the clearer it becomes that he ranks among the most underwhelming, spineless leads in romance anime. He spends most of his screen time imagining useless and boring scenarios about their relationship, which resulted in him not talking or spending time with Sawako. For a guy supposedly in love, he barely acts like a boyfriend until the eleventh hour. K…

10 years of waiting for a continuation and personally it was worth every year of waiting. Objectively the creative decisions that were made may not have been the best for the work.
In my heart the season gets a 10, because seeing Sawako and company once again made me really happy. Reliving memories from 10 years ago and seeing where my life was then and how it is now was a good exercise in reflection and nostalgia. As for the story, the fact that Sawako and Kazehaya's relationship has developed on a secondary level is appreciated because it allows the secondary characters to have more screen time. Seeing the clumsy progress of Ryuu and Chizuru was something tender to see, as two teenagers try to cross that thin line from a friendship of years to a romantic relationship. The story arc of A…

(this is more of a personal review, just for my own logging)
I was pretty astonished by this season! The slow, yet enjoyable pace of the first two seasons were pleasant. I know the ride I signed up for and had a great time doing so. We got plenty of developments this time around, and the episodes felt a little bit more like movies. So many things happened; twists and turns throughout the whole season, and the pay-off overall felt rewarding, deserved, and satisfying.
The music - incredible. Art-style was, once again like previous seasons, soft, yet detailed. You can go from cute chibi style to some artistic pieces that could serve well as legitimate pieces. AND they knew when to use them appropriately and tastefully! I found myself laughing plenty of times, feeling the emotions of the cha…

I was a big fan of the Kimi ni Todoke anime in the beginning, but my excitement dwindled as it progressed. However, I must say that the third season is one of the best pure romance seasons I've ever watched. The characters are realistic and well-written. Even though their flaws make them relatable, it can be tough to watch at times due to the realistic portrayal of romance. The series handles the conflict well with detailed explanations, and I'm hopeful that it will continue to receive more seasons and conclude every story as effectively as it did in season 3. In my opinion, it's a strong candidate for anime of the year and best romance anime of the year.
Overall Rating: 9/10

Surprisingly enough, I was not as thrilled as I thought I would have been at the news of a new season for one of my most beloved manga adaptations... I refused to believe that a new season, made so many years after the original anime release could live up to the original. This one proved me wrong.
The art style especially cought my eye!! You can really tell that they tried hard to recreate the old art style, and i think they did a great job!!! The nostalgic feeling I had while watching this new season brought so many memories of how wonderful the manga was, and made me want to reach for it again!! Very grateful for this reminder of my love for Kimi ni todoke!!!
