After coming back to the anime after a LONG HIATUS, season 2 of Mob Psycho is refreshing but also really wholesome to watch. This anime has been on my list since I finished the first season AGES ago so to be able to review this and continue on to the next season, excited and I am anticipated it is going to be better than the other 2 seasons (hopefully!)
Firstly, animation is really good and I love how each character are drawn differently (like the first one) and how goofy some of the characters are too.
The fights are really cool and the explosions and really something too...
Now for the characters, I am happy to see Mob being more independent both mentally and physically. The way he thinks and how he UNDERSTANDS how grateful people are to him shows that he is a badass of a character a…

This season is way better than the first one. The comedy isn’t really anything special but it will get a smile out of you. Not much laughter though. The action is way better and the biggest upgrade in this season was the character development. The first season started slow because it focused on the comedy elements, which were hit or miss. Then ended with an exciting action packed finale.
This season however has 3 distinct arcs for mob, a 2 episode arc for Reagan, and a few one off episodes, that all focus on character development. Mob really grows and a lot and it truly is endearing. We get a deep dive into Reigen and who he is and it’s genuinely very compelling. And the show does a good job of capping off these major arcs with great action. Overall each arc felt balanced and the sho…

Mob Psycho season 1 was a good start so this season had some shoes to fill. Did it?
Yes, yes it did. This season was an overall upgrade for me. Firstly, a problem I had with the first season was there was a few episodes where it felt like it dragged the overall story out. Here though, the story is much more focused on.
Let’s start with the characters. Mob is still good, I like how we get to see his awkward journey throughout his school life and psychic life, as well as how he tries to balance it and essentially tries to please everyone. Reigen is still great, I loved his more deep relationship with Mob, we got some nice development. Dimple is good too, kind of acts like the character that acts like he is still evil but we all know he truly loves the time he has with Mob and Reigen. Rits…

Mob Psycho 100 Season 2, a 100% explosive and touching sequel that exceeds all expectations! Overall, I find this second season better than the first in every way. It's always a pleasure to see the series' protagonists again! Starting with Mob, who has evolved a lot, both in his romantic relationships and in his social circle. From his lack of self-confidence and abilities misunderstood by others until now, he gradually finds his place. Arataka's past is also explained in this season. This character, who initially appears as a simple manipulative con artist, ultimately reveals a deeper side.
In terms of animation and character design, it's clear they've raised the bar compared to the first season. I'm simply in awe of the animation, especially the various fight scenes this season, which r…

This show really pulls you in, and there are so many thoughtful moments that I just didn't expect from a slice of life show. I watched the first season and thought wow, it's gonna be really hard to top this and how they blended comedy and more deep, intense moments so well. But wow, this season really leaned into more of those deep, intense moments. And while the comedy of the first season was great, I honestly loved the change in this season. I love how Mob became such a deep character, and how Reigen too become more multi-sided as a character. Mob is such a great, loving character that it makes you want to support him no matter what, and though all characters have flaws, you can tell Mob is genuinely pure of heart and loves everyone around him. It makes you want to love him too, and I ne…

This season of Mob Psycho is what makes it the best anime I've ever seen. What this season does is recieve season 1's beautiful cross into the box and smash it top bins with an overhead kick (which makes S3 the knee slide afterwards).
First things first, this season retains everything that made the first season good and builds on top of it; the humour, the characters, the animation, everything.
If you thought S1 fights were epic, S2 takes it to a different level. The Shimazaki vs Scars + Ritsu and Teru fight especially, is one of my favourite fights despite being a fight between mere side characters. The same can be said for Mogami fight as well.
And speaking of characters, the way they develop them, Mob and Reigen specifically, is just brilliant. Mob, this season, evolves from being the…

Summary:
This review is for the second season of the Mob Psycho 100 anime. This is a comedy anime with some action and adventure with quirky characters, a simple yet entertaining plot, and plenty of laughs. As a comedy, this story is funny and entertaining, although its unpredictability is more enjoyable in this session. Overall, this show is entertaining with unique art and plenty of humor, but some of the humor and serious parts collide. In this season, there is more development for the protagonists, but the antagonists are generic and bland. Over all, Mob Psycho 100 has some surprising depth beyond its humor, and I recommend it.
Story: 7/10
The plot of the second season helps the characters to grow at the start, although the focus on world domination and terribly writte…

REWATCHED THIS MASTERPIECE!!! Out of all of the seasons of Mob Psycho, this was honestly my favorite.
This anime never fails to touch your heart. Watching Mob grow made me so happy, as he was finally getting closer to his classmates and gaining more confidence on himself. I also liked how he finally stood up for himself against Reigen's unfairness, which was such a good start to Reigen's development. I liked how we got to see the true life Reigen lived; how boring and lonely it is, and how his job uplifts him.
Reigen and Mob have such a beautiful bond, as they kind of save each other. Mob saves Reigen in not just his business, but in providing him a sense of purpose. Reigen saves Mob when he's in his lowest; giving him the right advice and motivation to keep going. During the moments w…

Mob Psycho is the definition of "less is more". This anime is the greatest simple series I've seen, it has few core concepts and characters yet every single thing is done so flawlessly without neglecting something else.
First I'll talk about the characters, every person in this series is just your average joe, besides some having psychic powers we see that in reality everyone is equal and there's a clear underlying message through tout the season that everyone is human just trying to do their best and live. I love this so much as in a world where some humans are more naturally talented there's no inequality or disparity and in fact is more about you giving your own individual effort. Seeing every character learn more about themselves and their life is so beautiful from Mob accepting himse…

There's something very special and real about Mob Psycho 100. Season 2 is a personal favorite in the series, but the whole story gives exactly what you want out of slice of life while also providing dynamic psychic battle sequences that will have you jumping up and down. The characters are each given their flowers in one way or another; they're all complimentary to Mob's character and well developed on their own enough to feel like individually real people (even the seemingly insignificant side characters).
The story will have you laughing your head off for one half of an episode and holding back tears the next half. It's silly while maintaining its message (which has cultivated an incredible community of fans btw). If you're into animation as an art form at all, this series is a must as w…

Second season is definitely more packed up than season 1 so thats good and expected.
I like this season and overall the series actually. The vibe it gives and the characters are pretty good imo.
Mob is just trying to learn life, after all, he is a kid. The way he takes and the way he does is good too.
The show has good sequences of fights so you won't be bored on that aspect too.
Not the best of its kind but watchable one and you will prob won't be bored too.
This review is more like a series review more than the second season but if you want my opinion on the season, this is better than first one by far with more emotional scenes, fighting scenes, more development and overall ending the series in a good note too.
It doesn't disappoint the watcher.
Definetely recomended.

This season demonstrates the essence of the series at 100% by what this is being developed, the first part shows us the human of our characters and their internal conflict around their emotions and as they are all in a normal area, where they have personal problems and battle themselves to be able The season talks about the power and battles that will leave you stun of how beautiful they are animated and how these are developing. In conclusion if you want to see some action this second part will love it.
It is really worth this second season for all that is and as they continue with the story of our protagonist Mob. I don't know if this is better than the first because the 2 are equally good.

7/10 ~ A good sequel
This is the rare time that a show actually improves in the the second and middling season, usually most effort is put into the begining and end of most things. I had alot of problems with season 1, mostly that it was just so boring, there was no meaningful devilment and things just kinda happened. Season 2 took alot of what was wrong and built the story for the better. For reference I rated Season 1: 6/10
Pros:
- Most of the main cast actually help and develops, however the show is starting to feel like One-Punch where eventually if Mob gets too powerful then nothing will ever matter that doesn't involve him
- the jokes from my point of view were much better
- season 2 did not feel as boring
Cons:
- The fights were more frequent but honestly season 1 really stood o…

It's rare that a sequel manages to live up to the sky high expectations built after an amazing S1.
Well, Mob found a way. Oddly enough it was by repeating the message and lessons of the first season without turning into a re-run!
An MC that is the most super duper ESP The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. style but is timid and doesn't want to fight. Then we are shown different paths he could have taken through other people's lives and how important it is to have a support system around you.
The stakes are higher as Mob finally clashes with evil corp errrrrr whatever they were called, evil Esp. Inc?
While the battles were epic it was more about our MC reaching out and listening to people and that's what sets this show apart from other Shonen. The protagonist is a pacifist, not just when it…

Lightweight, meaningful, funny story with peak creativity on animation, art style, background music. The show you can watch without thinking about and keep you engange. Feel so real even it is fiction and philosophical. Characters are unique and it's development is so great if you watch season 1-3. Best for action comedy, I think majority will love this series and it is perfect for various backgrounds. I hope everyone can grow with Mob Pyscho. As others say, i want to wipe my own memory and relive the experience of something all over again. Some noticeable great episode are the first, fourth, seventh.

Amazing art style, they really out did themselves again with this one! The fight scenes are extremely smooth and well crafted, true eye candy!
The opening is such a trip, I love it, and the ending is super cute!
The story is wonderful, it asks a lot of questions that are vital during puberty, to discover yourself and who you want to be.
I, personally, loved every second of it and found it incredibly relatable, even though I am already an adult the questions make you contemplate your standing in the world and what you want to do in life.
I cried twice and had one mental breakdown

The entire second season is literally carried by the fact that our previously plain water main character has obtained carbonation and is now spicy. I disliked season 1 but I had nothing better to do and this series was well-received so I thought I might as well finish S2. That being said, I do quite like Mob's growth arc. The writer at the time claimed he 'wanted to main something kind' - this was indeed achieved. Mob's insistence that people can change actually got through my blackened, shriveled, cynical misanthrope's shell. I also appreciate how rather than trying some horrific mash-up of slice of life and a plot, they just went straight with a plot instead. Although, the simplicity of 'here's a narcissistic bad guy who wants to take over the world' is a little dull. For this, I rate th…

The second season of Mob Psycho 100, while noticeably more serious than the first season, is still able to maintain its comedy and appeal and is an overall great second season.
The characters are still one of the best parts of Mob psycho. Lots of characters, even side characters that you'd assume were unimportant when they were first introduced, return in the second season. The cool part about this is that it's not only the main characters that get character development, even most of the side characters appear to have changed in some way when they appear again. The main characters are obviously more important though and particularly Mob and Reigen go through a lot in this season.
The story follows the climax of the first season with a few calmer episodes focussed more on character grow…

This show is, you know, bad. Not gonna spend a lot of time talking about this, I'll try to sum up why it fail in comparison to the first season:
1. Everyone is OP. A lot of the supporting cast and antagonists are as powerful or even more than mob, breaking the premise upon which the first season was built.
2. It's not fun. Season one was fun and didn't take itself seriously. This one tries to be more mature and cuts down on the amount of jokes, it didn't work well. The jokes that do show up come out of place or are too predictable, like reigen's foolish techniques, they overused this device in the first season and when it came up on the second I totally knew what was going to happen
3. All fights are between OP characters that destroy the whole scenario around, boring...
Nah, I wasted my…

I, like probably many others, got introduced to "Mob Psycho 100" through "One Punch Man" and at the start I was simply comparing both and not seeing "Mob Psycho 100" as a stand alone and unique show, after the end of first season I ended up enjoying it very much, but still not thinking anything special in relation to the hundreds of other titles I've watched. With all of this in mind I decided to watch the second season since the first was decent but I didn't come into it with very high expectations and oh boy am I glad I was wrong.
Plot: This season can be split into two parts in relation to the storyline, the first half of the episodes roughly can be all summed up as various diverse mini-arcs that focus mainly on developing Mob, Reigen and Dimple as characters and to give them some dept…
