What a fucking amazing opening. What a badass anime!
I completely retract my previous review and my 6/10 rating. Watching it again today, I can't understand how I was so unfair to this work. This second season is easily an 8/10, and at times, it comes very close to being even better than that.
Starting with the opening, which is simply phenomenal. It’s one of those tracks that gets stuck in your head after just one listen. The music is memorable and catchy; it fits the anime's identity perfectly and has incredible energy. It’s an opening that remains instantly recognizable even years later and captures the atmosphere of Noragami brilliantly.
The animation is also excellent. Obviously, it doesn't have the same fluidity or production value as modern hits like Demon Slayer, but considering…

This new season starts from a place that feels more mature, but with an approach that leans more into shonen territory. It pushes the relationships between the characters into the background, making conflict the main driving force of the story.
Even so, the adversities Yato and his friends face help strengthen their bonds and encourage their personal growth. The anime also handles Yato’s past well, revealing it gradually and keeping us interested in learning more about him.
Once again, the series risks breaking its own rhythm by splitting the season into two separate parts, each with its own conflict and villain. The emotional moments are well executed, but their impact is weakened by the narrative compression of conflicts that could have easily worked as separate seasons, allowing for s…

Noragami Aragoto is an insanely good follow-up season to Noragami if not better than the first season.
Noragami Aragato is the follow up season to the 2014 Anime Noragami, And follows the similar supernatural action concept of the first. The plot continues straight off of where the first season left off, Starting a new arc right from the get go, This immediate jump into action is just awesome as it flows really well from the ending of season one. The plot of season 2 is Better than season one, having more in depth lengthier arcs and more enjoyable character development as well as contributing new characters that were not inside of the first season. The plot is incredibly engaging throughout and never really left me feeling bored or sick of watching it and always had me wanting to watch th…

Noragami Aragoto I find that this second season remains on the same basis compared to the first season even if I found the plot more interesting. It's always a pleasure to follow the protagonists, some of whom evolve like Yukine, who becomes more mature and Bishamon. Her story touched me. She becomes my favorite character! I noticed a contrast between the two seasons. During the first season, the anime is more humorous while the second season is more dramatic. The animation and the character design remain the same. In terms of the soundtrack, I love the opening which is still as catchy! The ending is still as beautiful, as is the OST. In short, this season remains on the same wavelength as the first season, which is still as pleasant to follow!

Noragami Aragoto It's really great. I heard the name of this anime many times on YouTube and searching through Deferent genre it hits me and I started to watching. In the first season it lest so many unanswered questions and feels kind of incomplete but with second season they beautifully completed the arc bring justice the a great anime.
Storyline 9/10
Their bonding grew stronger and even gone to the realm of gods to save her and resolve enmity between bishamon mighty war god and for her sake he gone to underworld. Reforged their relationship with hard feelings and confessions it's a great combination.
Music 10/10
Most amazing Music I ever heard in any anime it's primium, over the top, stunning, Goosebumps. It tells the seriousness of the moment. And curve the very moment to the viewer'…

the story for me is somewhat unique and not predictable.
the plot is well-made, it's progressing as I watch.
the art style is clean and detailed! the anime is consistent showcasing urban landscapes mixed with supernatural elements.
this combination helps to set the tone of the series, balancing between the everyday life and the mystical world.
i love the characters! i hope you gonna like them!
as we know that the anime is dark as it goes through eliminating supernatural elements and such but it also maintaining the lightness of the mood of the story from the humor/behaviors of the characters!
having another world in the real world but the characters still react in the same way (even though we know that the main character in the anime is a God lol)
i'll recommend this for sure and…

I liked Aragoto too, just as I liked the first noragami. I tend to find every series I watch crap, because generally start out too ambitious and then the quality falls down. I found noragami not to be ambitious at all, it has simple premises and almost no ambition at all, it is mainly focused on character development and on friendship, it turns out to be a very nice anime because of that.
However, the first noragami is better and more consistent. Towards the end of Aragoto there is some melodrama going on, the Ebisu arc appears confusing and the last 3 episodes are full of plot holes, with instantaneous invented powers and stuff being made up to make the plot advance (what people call Deus Ex Machina, I think). They also seem to be indicating that there's more story after this season en…

This anime is great, it has great Original Soundtrack, environment and mood settings. Characters are also interesting with their unique personality traits. The story is also appealing and the plot is perfect. I am personally the fan of OST.
The art style is really fitting for the story with vicious battles, action and thriller.
The characters react to situations and events in a realistic and well-mannered ways. The character development of Yukine, the Regalia or weapon of Yato, is great to witness.
I really enjoyed the anime, I really liked it and you will too if you liked Kyoukai-no-Kanata.
Peace.

Season 2 of Noragami comes with a surprising number of arcs and character developments that makes Yukine's arc from season one seem like a little bump in the road.
Plot 9/10
The season follows two main storylines both very emotional. Bishamon and why she hates Yato, Ebisu and his end goal.
Bishamon got the lion share (pun not intended) due to getting more screen time and because of the personal connection she has with Yato. Still, both were very interesting and rather heavy emotionally.
Characters 10/10
The characters change as the story progresses yet they remain themselves. Not an easy thing to do while keeping the character 3-dimensional (one-note characters are not in this series). Each has his or her own motivation and reason for how they act which is just good writing.

Its sorta hard to predict how any anime by Studio Bones is going to turn out. Sometimes they could end up being rather passable, or even incredibly memorable and well written (i.e Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Darker than Black). On the other hand, they could end up being complete and utter failures (i.e Zetsuen no Tempest). Noragami fits nicely between the two; a mediator amidst the good and the bad.
Let it be known that I found the first season to be somewhat of a mediocrity. As far as urban fantasy goes, it didn’t do much to stand out from its peers and felt a tad bit too similar to other shows of the same genre. Sure, I mean there were some interesting concepts and some witty character interactions here and there, but it never felt like the show executed them as effectively as I wo…

Really enjoyed the first season, however, this season was a bit disappointing. The first had good moments, but the second arc really dragged on. I dropped the show at the end of the first arc but have come back almost a few years later to finish it. Just for that fact I can't give it a high score even though I ended up enjoying the show overall.
Story: 7/10
The first arc was good, although the antagonist's motivations never become clear. Guess S3 will go further into that. The second arc was pretty boring by comparison.
Art: 7/10
The animation was very good and the characters are drawn well although Hiyori doesn't seem to be drawn as well as most of the other characters.
Sound: 10/10
Kyouran Hey Kids is one of my favorite anime songs. The rest of the OST is very good too!

Noragami is one of those shows that you are rooting for even when it lets you down, and I think it's worth watching for the smirks alone. There are also some decent plot points in this season especially in the Bishamon arc, a greater threat is teased to setup season 3, and although the transcript of what happened at the climax of the show frankly sounds more interesting than it looked it was still a cut above the standard fare and kind of proved Noragami as a universe can raise the stakes for a big fight pretty effectively. For Noragami to really come into it's own, I think we would have to see a season 3 at least, and unless that season was a 2-cour banger we're looking at 4+ tbh.
Still, the slice-of-life gags in Noragami holds up on their own with plenty of warm fuzzies and chuckles fo…

Honestly I thought this was a decent anime... up until about episode 9. I finished the first season not too long ago, and I found it rather mediocre. I was still a bit curious about how the story would progress however, so I started this season and finished it. My rating of a 4/10 of this anime is really based on my enjoyment of noragami aragoto and how I thought the story went. One thing I had a problem with was the recurring patterns in season 2 that seemed to be too similar to season 1 for my liking. For example, how the end of each season became an "Oh no we have to save Yato" ordeal, and somehow Yato and Yukine seemed to have the same cooperation problems still even though season 1 looked like it resolved them? This repetitiveness made me feel like…

Just finished Noragami (both seasons dubbed) and was sad to see lower rated reviews. Contrary to others, I thought the plot wasn’t all over the place, rather i appreciated it wasn’t a commitment to watch 5 million episodes for the story to develop. At first it was a bit hard to follow what regalias were and Yato gave me Chucky doll vibes…but the characters grew on me. Before I knew it, I was rooting for Yato and his small team of 3! Also, the overall aesthetics of this anime were amazing, thought war of God lady B. was a bit corny at first but ended up loving her, she is a bad ass! Only wish there were more seasons! Or at least more episodes that showed more of the romance aspect. Overall highly recommend this! The plot is unique there’s a little bit of action and comedy/romance, you will…

Noragami Argato
The end of the first season of "Noragami" was not Canon and is not mentioned in the second season, nor does it matter, so don't be confused.
According to the information, this season completely follows the manga.
This season begins to show the background of some very relevant characters, as well as partly the background of the protagonist. However, the actual plot of the second season is average and barely evolving. In the end, you only get a stretched and weak finale.
Nevertheless, it is gratifying that this season placed great emphasis on the characters. Incidentally, there were hardly any normal episodes about everyday life.
Unfortunately, this season lost a lot of what Noragami was up to before. First and foremost, the atmosphere was hardly there, all the conversati…

Ehh. :<
So it was alright, just kinda meh, nothing really outstanding for me, a bit mediocre even.
The second season seems to be split in two;
In the first half, it deals with Bishamon. There's treachery among the midst, Kazuma gets development, Hiyori gets kidnapped (again), and Yato is gonna kick some butt.
There were some cool interactions and developments, but in the end, the majority of the conflict I found lacking. It could have been solved easily with a little bit of talking. I feel like the conflict was very fabricated and fake, and so I couldn't really get into it.
I'm sad Hiyori once again got to do nothing. She was built up to be a strong female protagonist, and I like her, but in the end she was less than a side character, which is a shame.
The villain reveal was meh, I d…

*This review it's not spoiler free and it may contains Mangá references*
~~This is my first review, sorry if it isn't very good. Thanks for the consideration~~
I am kind of disappointed. Honestly.
There are LOTS of scenes in the anime that are COMPLETELY different from the mangá. I would like to mention my favorite scene from the mangá that wasn't made correctly. This is one of the most important scenes of the story, and it has been almost totally different from the manga.
There are also other scenes from the second part of the season that are kinda different, like the way Yukine and Hiyori went to the Underworld gate, or the way Yato sets Nora free. These small differences made me really unhappy, because the plot in the manga NEEDS these scenes EXACTLY the way they are.
Besides thes…

Stupid characters failing to see an enemy right in front of their eyes or focus on an objective, being lead around and falling for tricks they seemed to deal ok with last season; overblown "heart of the cards" or "misunderstanding that takes a 5 min talk to resolve but will remain until the last 5 minutes of the season" dramas - that's what you should prepare for if you watch this.
Well, it's not like there wasn't plenty of that in last season as well, but at least last season it eventually lead to something, had a decent conclusion and so my willful suspension of disbelief was able to cope with it. This season you get ONLY the stupid parts. It's just a setup for a "read the manga" cliffhanger. Maybe it would be salvageable with another season or if you actually read the manga, but I'm ra…

Despite the fact that I stick to basically using a five star rating to simplify giving ratings and make it as suggestive as possible while also basically being a shorthand to quickly judge and group media together, I was really feeling like I had to justify something to myself on why Noragami Aragoto is a 5/5, 10/10, what have you. I don't think it's the greatest of all time or know if its the very best of its genre or whatever, but it really just clicks well. I think this is better than the first season and really don't have any major faults to give it even if I don't have this great, personal calling to it like some other media. Which is fine, and also doesn't diminish how well this show is made. I don't have some deep analysis that needs to feel like some unique take to read this review…

I didn't had any good expectation based on how I felt about the first season, but I actually got a little surprised and ended up actually enjoying the anime. It wasn't great, but way better than the first. There were some problems, sometimes you just wanted to understand why certain things were the way they where, some other times they come with world mechanics from nowhere. The world became way more confusing white various random elements and the characters got way better development (Yukine isn't just a boring anoying kid anymore, I mean, he's still pretty anoying but isn't just that at least), but again, the voice acting was just awesome.
