This was the first One Piece movie I ever watched so I didn't really know what to expect going in, but I still somehow came out the other end feeling disappointed. The story is definitely its weakest point; it's essentially a rehash of Arlong Park, although you could argue that was at least partly intentional. Still doesn't make it good. What also stood out to me was just how egregious the fan service was, but I've seen some comments saying the movie had actually toned it down in this regard (compared to previous entries), so I dread to think how bad it must have been if this was considered an improvement. Nami spent the majority of the movie in a biki…

Strong World starts off rather inconspicuously and gradually blossoms into a great film. It has particularly fluid and polished animation! Even the 3D assets blend in nicely. I will say the colors are off at some points (e.g. Zoro’s muted hair color).
The plot isn’t the craziest, but it’s sound and has some highlights. Shiki is a cool villain, and his powers are wicked. The fights are incredible, more so towards the end. This actually has one of, if not the best-looking fights I’ve ever seen come out of One Piece. Massive Kill Bill vibes. The lil bird reminds me of Karoo. God, how I miss him…
But of course—there’s fucking “fan service” (I don’t think that title is suitable for what it is) and it’s pretty bad.
Otherwise, this film is solid. It takes its time to reach its peaks, but the p…

Nobody Touches My Navigator!!!
One piece: the movie 10 - strong world Is about the straw hat pirates meeting a legendary pirates, who takes an interest in they Navigator and everything goes to the zoo after that.
When watching the movie I could just feel that the original Creator oda was in the writing seat. Hard to describe but just the way the characters talk and interact and the villains desires the perfect balance between serious and wacky it's just all there. Felt so much like the TV Show and manga, that you just knew that this one is not like the previous films. Especially Luffy I love the take they took on him in movie 6, but this is just right.
And the story is a fun what if. What if this legendary pirate from the old days appeared and Luffy was in his way. It's just such a gre…

This feels like the start of the new standard for a lot of anime movies. Good setup, good inclusion of the main cast, a good villain, and a big fight to cap it all off. Animation is solid, and you can notice the extra movie budget being used in some of the fights. Even if this is filler, it's worth the watch for some of the outfits the cast gets in this; absolutely dripping.
The plot was alright, handling the usual blueprint and featuring some decent side characters for the movie. Bringing in a villain unused in the original canon was nice and was a good way to retain the tie to the main series. While the final fight isn't an insane spectacle, it's a really cool moment.
All in all, it's on the higher end of the OP movies so far, and I believe they maintain this quality from here on out.

Among the pool of contemporary manga, One Piece is a series that demonstrates without rival an insurmountable level of worldbuilding and creativity within the medium. This rich universe and One Piece’s undefeated ability to churn up slews of profits via merchandise and manga sales, leads One Piece to lend it’s likeness not only to a subpar anime adaptation but various disjointed animated film outings. One Piece: Strong World can be remembered simply as another strikeout, despite Oda Eiichiro’s coaching behind the scenes.
Even at its most criticized arcs, the writing of Oda Eiichiro in One Piece never truly missteps. There is a level of detail in every single arc where elements introduced or shown early on will all come to blossom fully in the finale of said arc or even further along in th…

I really enjoyed this one... but it does need to be mentioned that the enjoyment largely came from the spectacle of it all, rather than some of the elements that are usually of the most value to me...
This movie looked absolutely amazing. (I've gotten into this franchise really late, but I wouldn't be surprised to learn that this was around the time it was getting majorly, mainstream-ishly popular. Because holy shit, hello, animation budget, where have you been?) And it sounded fantastic. (Love the fact that the first movie to come out since Brook's inclusion in the crew also got this great soundtrack upgrade.)
But the story was a little weak. I'm not really a fan of the storylines that try to shove Nami into damsel in distress roles. (And even Robin had a moment where she had to be res…

There's a certain scene towards the end of the movie which completely brakes the logic of the show. I can not watch the anime anymore without thinking about why they do not just do that all the time. It was quick, efficient & practical, not to mention pirate-like. Besides that, it is the same recycled plot they have been cycling through for 20 years at this point. Nami gets kidnaped & the crew needs to save her along with an island of quirky never to be seen-again characters. The animation is great & they wear stellar costumes. So if that's all you need this is for you. If your going to put something on in the background while you clean this is a solid choice. If you want a bit more I'd stay away.

Sensational Villain and Story
Another wonderful One Piece Movie, Strong World is worse than the other three movies (Z, Gold, Stampede) but it’s still amazing tho. It’s in the fourth place to my opinion.
Still it has special place for me maybe for everbody because it’s the last pre-time skip movie of One Piece.
As a story it’s really great, has some strange characters and lastly of course the villain.
Frankly I didn’t like how the producers represent the main villain because he looks like stronger than Luffy, actually he is. Anyways, There is no problem other than that. If you are a One Piece fan, of course you would be happy at the end of the movie if you’re not I still think that you’ll enjoy.
Thank you for reading, I hope I could have helped you with this review.

This review contains slight spoilers for this movie.
As I'm not very used to writing reviews this will definitely not be particularly well written, however I really wanted to share my thoughts.
I did not like this movie, but i'll still start of with the positives:
The animation is quite good (Especially for one piece) it isn't anything special in terms of anime movie standards but compared to the abysmal animation the anime has it comes off as incredible.
I really liked the designs of everything, the floating islands and animals especially. I also liked the designs of Shiki, his two henchmen and the feathered villagers. all the NEW characters personalities where suitable and they felt like One Piece characters
I like the origin of where namis arm band thing came from, and from my recolle…

Overall, one of the better one piece movies. The villains were a little bit annoying, but the world-building was the best I've seen so far of the one piece movies, but what made this one stand out to me was the AESTHETIC. The OUTFITS were so cool. They finally decided to give the straw hat crew GUNS and it was BADASS. The best part of this movie was the opening music and character introduction at the beginning of the movie. The music DID NOT need to go that hard. A big downside of the plot was that it revolved around a damsel-in-distress type of situation, which usually isn't great, but it essentially mirrored one of the canon arcs from the show (I won't say which). Basically what I'm saying is this: if you are looking for something to watch for the plot, this ain't it. But, if you are loo…

Oh boy was that movie amazing. It's been so long since i saw such a good movie.
{MAY CONTAIN SOME SPOILERS}
Story 8: The story was very simple. After gaining their new member brook the straw hats stumble upon shiki the villain of our story that we learn from Sengoku and Garp that he had fought Gold D. Roger and lost 20 years ago as he was sent to jail. After being free from Prison Shiki uses his amazing powers to kidnap Nami from luffy and the crew. And that's the main goal of our protagonist to retrieve nami back. And the straw hats conclude this movie with a great final fight.
Art 9: I don't have a lot to say here. Only that the art designs were amazing such as the animation.
Sound 7: Now i kinda have to complain here. One piece has one of the best soundtracks in anime history t…

Notice: In the slight chance you noticed I made a line of reviews for movies 1 to 7, let me clarify that I will not do the same for the eighth and the ninth. I skip them entirely because there is nothing to say about them other than being summaries of the main series with slight alterations, better production values, and a shameless crave to milk nostalgia instead of trying to make new stories of the likes of Dead End and Baron Omatsuri. Shame on you Toei! So moving along to the next one …
This is the tenth One Piece movie, theoretically taking place around the Impel Down arc. Just like the seventh, it is not focusing on any character specifically but since Brook is now part of the crew we can theoretically say it is dedicated to him. Something they didn’t do with Franky in the seventh si…

WHY I LIKED:
⬤ Floating tropical islands
⬤ Castle interior
⬤ Good pacing
⬤ Extraodinary outfits for the Strawhats
⬤ Good development for Nami
⬤ Animation quality, I liked Luffy's second and third gear designs alot. It gave me AOT vibes watching him.
⬤ Lufffy was serious most of the time and I liked it.
WHY I DISLIKED: ⬤ Nothing is special with story.
⬤ Exaggerated villain, to think he was rivalling pirate king..
SUMMARY:
This movie makes a fast start with a flashforward scene and soaks you in with Luffy's jungle fight, Nami fanservice and the little gag between bad guys. Pieces start to fall into place on par with the movie length.
The movie shows how graphic quality can give the story darker tones it needed. This movie ranks second on my one piece movie list coming after "One piece mov…

Story: 6/10
The Story of this film cannot be compared with the others One Piece specials and films, 'cause many things aren't managed properly, but overall its good.
Animation: 8/10
Sound: 7/10
Nothing to say about these, the movie is animated very well, in step with the last seasons of anime, and the osts are good.
Enjoyment: 7/10 Overall is a good film, but it's sins in some things as i am about to explain.
SPOILER
Character: 4
This is the main problem of this film.
The villain is made ridicolous like never before.
Shiki, legendarious pirate lived in the age of Garp, Sengoku and Gol D. Roger cannot be defeated by a Luffy that cannot master the haki...
The others characters are not bad, in particular Nami play an important role in the story.

My first One Piece film, Strong World was a pleasant ride with the Straw Hats rife with the usual components that are so endemic to Oda -- predictable, yet uplifting, story; immense creativity (in this case with all of the different monsters); great humor that's so natural; and, of course, his heartwarming take on the motif of nakama. Being a film, the animation is significantly better than the TV series, the soundtrack is new, and the character outfits are different. I've seen plenty of anime and Oda never fails to bring tears to my eyes with the strong bonds among Luffy's crew. More than anything, that's what's truly important, especially to Luffy.
That being said, having caught up with One Piece as it airs, the fights aren't the best, but that's obviously because Strong World takes pla…

i was really really really really really ..... disappointing about this movie :( when the the "ep 0" was the first episode that i watched from this anime ..and it was the main reason that i am still watching it .. its obvious that i will hate this movie a lot !!!!! it was really horrible , why ? i am telling you why !! when they said in ep 0 that he was the one who fought against Gol D. Roger .. and the first who esscaped alife from Impel Down.. and was the one who destroyed half of the marine ford by himself !! and the white beard himself Admitted his power... and he waited for 20 years to start his plan !!! and that all fall down just because of luffy !!!! and he has beaten him by only using gear three !!! you gotta be kidding me !!! and the plan that he was working on to make a strong c…

[[ this is my first review and I am not fluent in english so ... be patient pls ;-; ]]
So, I watched this movie because after I said One Piece Film Z were awesome a friend of mine told me Strong World is the best One Piece Movie, and honestly I preferred the Z one, but that doesn't means Strong World is a bad movie, don't get me wrong, this movie is very good.
[Story] - 7
Oda's histories are always creative and full of adventures not difference with this one, but something I didn't like is the fact that nothing have an aprofundation, for example, we know Shiki is a legendary pirate that in some time in the past confronted Gol D. Roger and lost, that he escaped Impel Down and that he could destroy everything... and that is it, nothing else, what is not usual in One Piece, where we are a…

One Piece Movie 10: Strong World Review
Story (8/10) Very Good
More Specifically (8.50/10) Very Good+
The 10th One Piece Strong World Movie was finally the One Piece Movie I was waiting to see which is something within these One Piece movies worth calling a movie quality presentation. The Story for Strong World is very simple with a lot of adaptations and setups before the movie even coming out a prequel OVA, a manga adaptation by Oda and even some filler setup episodes within the One Piece anime during the Impel Down Arc. I think for a movie this accomplish what it set out to do.
Art and Animation (9/10) Great
Finally some eye candy in One Piece by Toei. One Piece Strong World I was told is one of the best things One Piece animated and I have to agree it does look really really nice…

In comparison to Film Z, this film is just decent. It was the first One Piece film I watched and it kind of left me with a feeling of a slight dissatisfaction.
It started great, but... Hmm... It wasn't as great later.
Firstly, the animation - I feel like the only character that was taken care of here was Nami. And she was really well animated, but that's it. The rest was mediocre.
Secondly, the plot. It started off as if a big deal was going to happen out there, but except for some occasional scenes with crowd of pirates or the comeback of Shiki (with the Marines) the movie lacked that... Sense of greatness, epicness, insert whatever comes to your mind here. All I can say is Z really had this, and Strong World totally missed its potential when it comes to this.
Thirdly, the characters.…

Light Spoilers In This Review:
Welcome to Jurassic Park! A land filled with incredible creatures and danger at every turn! Hold on....wrong movie. One Piece: Strong World takes place sometime between Thriller Bark and the Sabaody Archipelago arcs and focuses on the legendary pirate Golden Lion Shiki. For the last 20 years after escaping Impel Down Shiki has been experimenting with "IQ" plants in order to create extraordinarily powerful animals in which he intends to destroy islands with.
Story/Character: One Piece is certainly well known(in the anime especially) for dragging things out, but this movie just drew the line with me for how much of my time they could waste. I am a huge fan of One Piece and I typically let these types of things slide, but for more than half the movie I felt l…
