Galko-chan is an anime about three girls going to puberty on a high school. The three girls consists out of a pure Gyaru with a heart of gold, an know it all otaku and a rich airhead that is just a sweetheart. They make an unusual trio but that makes it work as an anime. This is a short episode show, around 7 minutes each, and revolve mostly around the things that girls go through on school during puberty, in combination with the stereotypes that with being a gyaru, otaku and richgirl. I think it's a good show to watch as guy as it breaks the illusions some of us have about girls. They have issues, they are just as horny and ultimately not so different as we guys are and the show is fun to watch in it's short format.

I wanted to give it higher score but for what genre/use it's made for reeks with misinformation through mixed meaning in way too many situations. I saw the word Kadokawa, now I "understand".
Visuals, characters and voices are beautiful, content is rich without artificial dragging, but i simply wish it was more respectful torwards the questions it literally asks (and be for audience that is more likely watching).
Also, given the focus It's not for people who seek unique or a lengthy story. Story-wise realism isn't found here either but it tries to be slightly educational and faithful to real life situations. Subjectively content-wise i think it's a much better short kadokawa series.

Honestly, I was reluctant to watch the anime due to the author who turned out to be a p***do. I was completely disappointed by the fact that the author turned out to be that but i decided to watch it and i really liked it.
Please Tell Me Galko Chan! is a delightful and typical anime that offers a humorous view on Galko her candid high school life alongside her friends. The show manages to well execute the comedy and honest discussions' about adolescence, touching on topics that may be sensitive to others. The episodes are very short but it's very engaging with the characters. Not really a fan of gyarus but after watching this, Galko has become my fav. I really like her design.
Overally, Please Tell Me Galko Chan is a short and simple anime with comedy and gag humor that shines a light o…

Please tell me Galko Chan is typically a 12 episode anime series because this anime series is part of the way of how this how has led to the whole formula of how this takes place in the high school setting unlike most anime in general this has got to the attention of how this anime series would have gotten to the Curiosity the most to put the whole thing in the standard test of time for the whole testimony thing of how just considering the fact of how this has particularly for the whole sincere questionable thing of how they're basically every character should get every attention in this particular series of this anime like please tell me galko chan despite being a short anime series of how this would have gotten to the whole thing for this to point out accordingly despite the series being…

Despite the low rating I gave it, "Oshiete! Galko-chan" is a likeable comedy story.
The episodes are short but feel much longer, the art style is really pretty, but that is all...
The episodes consist of a few short stories - or rather answers to questions - but no real plot is involved. The closer we get to it is the final episode.
Rather than plot, the story is focused on our three main characters and their classmates, talking about all the pervy stuff high schoolers want to know answers to.
Still, it was pretty fun and interesting, leaving us with a smirk on our faces.

My rating: 10/10
I was recommended this show by a YouTuber and decided that I would watch it just to say I did. I was surprised when I actually ended up liking this show.
The characters are supposed to be stereotypes for anime girls, but this show basically destroys them and makes actually likable characters. Such as Galko, she is "supposed" to be a perverted and sexual character, but she isn't anything like that. She is actually innocent and is a very nice girl, though she may annoy people sometimes.
It is very easy to judge this show, but if you look deeper you will see how amazing it is.

Sometimes, anime studios do the bare minimum and won't make any real effort at making an anime interesting. Sometimes, they do everything they can, they give it all they've got in order to make an anime good, to make it special, to make sure people who'll watch it will enjoy it, will remember it. With Oshiete Galko-chan, it's the latter.
I will get the obvious out of the way in order to focus on what's really interesting, so I'll start by saying that the art is incredible, which is to be expected from a 7-minutes-an-episode anime. The voices of the characters are great, especially Otako. The music does the job, and is used wisely, at the right time. The show is very, very funny, and in regards to humor, my personal favorite episode is probably the first one.
I didn't start watching this…

I had just watched this anime a week ago, and let me tell you, I LOVED IT.
GALKO:
Usually, in stereotype high school anime, there's always the bitchy, mean, and rich girl. but Galko is none of those. Sure, she has big boobs, she teases sometimes, and has a big mansion, but she's very much likable.
She has some charm and comedic air around her that just makes people love her so much. Her character portrays what she's supposed to be very well.
OTAKO:
Otako may seem like those nerdy, snobbish girls you sometimes see, but no. She isn't. She's sarcastic and has a love of teasing Galko and Ojou, but she doesn't mean it in a bad way.
At the end of the series, we see how Otako makes friends with Galko, and we now know that she likes being alone and away from people, reading her books. Bu…

I really enjoyed the show.
The characters have a really cute individual personality, it definitely gives the kind of highschool nichijou vibe that other animes feel to achieve. Most conversations are pretty realistic, you also have a lot of trivias to learn from the various characters (from otako-chan especially). The trio also are very mindful and affectionate with their friends.
Story 8/10
it's really enjoyable and it really has realism put into it. They also have various characters with unique personalities. it also tells a lot of story even the show being a short anime.
Art 7/10
Veryyyyyy cute colors. Most characters are well drawn and they are very successful at associating the Art of the character with their personality. Both the Women and Men are drawn well. But it also was m…

[ It started with boobs and ended with friendship ]
Story/Character:
There isn't really much story as it's mainly about the daily lives of different kinds of people
They talk about seemingly dumb and random topics which end up being really helpful. It's a good way to use the anime medium to express unspoken facts and inquiries people have had about them. I only watched it casually for the lols or to have something to turn me on but I ended up discovering something meaningful, especially in the last episode where it gave an almost Oregairu-esque vibe to it. Breaking stereotypes, I love it
Art/Sound:
Not really that picky with Art, it is one of the main reasons why I approached the anime and as for the sound it's cute, not really a major part of the show,
Enjoyment/Overall:

Oishite! Galko-chan is a quick, fun anime that certainly doesn't disappoint. It begins with a safe, but still creative, concept and just knocks it out of the park from the first episode to the OVA. You'll also learn a fair bit, which was quite the surprise, though some of the high-school rumors were already very familiar to me. The simple story serves as a nice, clean vessel for the characters to have their adventures.
The art is very appealing, and is a perfect fit for a slice-of-life school anime. The world has a higher than usual amount of detail and care put into it, which I suppose one can afford to do when the episodes are only seven minutes long. The character designs were the best part of the art, however. First off, the creativity of the characters' visual appearance made everyo…

I enjoyed binging this within a day, i would've loved to see it grow as a recurring web series because I am really drawn to the day-by-day conversations this anime contains. like gyaruko, i also have a uhh uncontrollable sense of language at times. and im just an all around pervert, i gained some very interesting facts from the episodes. one thing i'd like to point out are: the characters. there are so much you can cover within 7 minutes, but what got me interested was a tiktok showing the green pigtails glasses girl. she's plus-sized, promotes healthy body image, and is shown to having an athletic physique. surprise, surprise, she's prone to attracting the opposite sex! i wish we saw more of her instead of the main three because frankly... they aren't that interesting. one has massive tit…

NO SPOILERS
To be honest i picked up this show because i was in a mood to watch some echie scenes , i was very surprised that it leaned more towards to the slice of life genre .
Story
Funny talks between girls of different social groups and women problems (which i don't understand being a guy but funny and educational in a way).
Art
Nothing mind blowing but slightly above average. Character
though no character development at all.
This anime can be enjoyed as a slice of life anime though the Character designs are so misleading that it gives the Eche impression ( there are some scenes but mostly dirty jokes and legends about breasts)

At first glance I thought that this show was going to be the same as the one I've seen several times on Hanime. But I was wrong. Oshiete! Galko-chan was simply a fast-paced comedy show about a good-natured bitch and her friends.
It's a really funny show that lightened up my mood in 84 minutes. This anime doesn't really have a story. However, as a person who was bored 84 minutes ago. I find this show very helpful.
A simple anime with hilarious comedies that makes me laugh occasionally. I don't usually see things like this because I mainly watch anime for the story. But something like this can be very good at times. An anime where I can just unwind and enjoy the show without any worries.
Highly recommended to those who are bored.

Galko is not a bad show and I certainly enjoyed it. It was funny and broke taboo and sterotype alike! But I couldn't help but feel it was a little gaudy. The art style is varied and pretty, but it isn't put to stupendous use. The jokes, while kinda informative and wholesome, got stale after a bit. I think this is one of the better short anime out there, but nothing you can't pass on.
That being said, it is good to see shows willing to tackle a broader variety of topics including things that are usually hushed up as inappropriate. While the topics didn't really resound in me, I do find value in that this show was made and I hope others like it come along.
The friendship of the 3 girls is interesting, but doesn't evolve much until the last episode. I do like the way they end the series,…

I was watching this for the 2019 Anime Challenge while still a Novice as I found this series short to watch.
'Oshiete! Galko-chan' is a slice of life, comedy and school anime and you can expect what's it going to be about. I thought it would be a good way to kill time (While procrastinating) to watch this show. Actually, the teaser of this show caught my attention.
This anime is good for early teens as most of the characters portray them. This comedy series revolves around their nature and how they discover themselves. As a guy, there were few things I learnt about the opposite sex. Some Japanese culture is also shown.
The story is about a girl names Galko, a popular girl who is referred as a 'gyaru' and party animal despite being innocent. She is friends with Otako (Who is an otaku) and…

*Completed for the 2018 Anime Watching Challenge: (89) Watch an anime adapted from a Digital Manga*
Going into Galko-chan, I had zero expectations. I was expecting another mediocre slice of life anime. Thankfully, despite my incredibly low expectations, the show turned out to be pretty damn funny.
I think the primary reason the show works so well lies in the length of its episodes. One of the biggest problems with the slice of life genre is that trying to make mundane, everyday interactions entertaining enough to keep the audience's interest for 20 minutes is a difficult feat. With Galko, each episode is approximately 7 minutes, meaning that episodes don't get a chance to wear out their welcome.
Of course, this quick pacing isn't enough to carry a show, and for Galko-chan to succeed, it…

Overall - 5:
This anime is the kind of anime that looks good in gifs because the art and character design look good. The show, unfortunately doesn't live up to the expectations these gifs create.
Story - 4:
Nothing really special here, for the most part the mini stories aren't all that interesting.
Art - 7:
Like I said before, this show looks good. It's not trying to animate anything too complicated, a lot of it is pretty simple talking scenes, but it does a good job at making those scenes look good.
Sound - 4:
The soundtrack is boring, kinda like the show. The tracks fit well into the show, so this isn't rated too low, but there's nothing too good about the sound.
Characters - 7:
This is probably this show's strong suit. The characters each have their own little quirks that make them…

THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS
Okay, so looking at the top review of this anime made me laugh really hard because I've never seen such garbage.
Anyway. I enjoyed this anime, hence the high score. It's the kind of anime I wished I'd watched at a younger age, not because it's completely accurate (not completely, but it's close to what high school was like) but because it would have helped me understand something sooner. Something that is the very heart of this little anime.
Appearances don't matter and who you are perceived to don't matter either. It's up to YOU who you are and you don't have to be like anything - the one thing that you have in common is being a human in the same society and doing your own thing. If this anime promotes ANYTHING, it's that of individuality.
Sure it's g…

I read a review in a magazine (OtakuUSA) that sparked my interest in this series and it delivered! I was that kid who was never afraid to talk about any dirty, deviant or perverse topic, so I really related to this series. But it's about more than that. It's about how we share the basic of human existence despite our personalities and differences. The show then introduces the supporting cast that play so well with their unique personalities. The art is bright and bubbly yet simple and plain. I'm starting to really dig these short raunchy shows. I literally have no complaints about this one. It hits a home run with exactly what it's trying to deliver. Plus it's short, so you can get through it in a day or two. I say of course watch it. I eagerly await a second season.
