Place to Place

Introduction

Feelings may come and go, but true love always remains in the heart. Tsumiki Miniwa is in love with her best friend, Io Otonashi. For her, confessing is nearly impossible; but to her friends, they seem to be the perfect match. Cute and petite, Tsumiki comes off more as a friend, and Io's attitude toward her is friendlier than toward others. Despite the constant teasing and obvious hints that his friends have been dropping, Io always seems to miss the signs. Throughout her everyday school life, Tsumiki spends time with her friends and Io. Will she finally muster enough courage to confess her true feelings? [Written by MAL Rewrite]

You better have a blood test analyzer ready before watching, because "Place to Place" is such a sweet romantic comedy, it will forcibly give you diabetes. The romance between Io and Tsumiki is one of the purest romances in media, with the perfect amount of comedic egging on from their friends. The dialogue and facial expressions is really where this show shines. The friend group of Io, Tsumiki, Mayoi, Hime, and Sakaki and their shenanigans they get into each episode are just straight up precious. Just like with the opening theme of the show, it has a slow start with episode 1, but really picks up fast in episode 2. I would totally recommend if you are looking for one of the most wholesome and sweet romantic comedies ever made. Would not recommend if you are expecting anything sexual to…

Now, this anime was just bad. I have no other description for it. It sucked. All the female characters were not only overwhelmingly moe (like OVERWHELMINGLY moe. I like moe. This was horrible.), especially the female protagonist who just is flat out an annoyance, as well as her friends who are just people who I'd punch for half the things that they say. I don't understand why you'd like it. I ended up watching it for the sake of laughing at how horrific the writing is. The ending sucked. A romance genre, with no romantic ending. Everything was up to interpretation. No hints, no nothing, no clarification. This entire anime is what you'd call white bread. Entirely plain. Put something in it, like make it into a sandwich, and it'll be better. But it'll still be plain, because after all, yo…

This is not the first slice of life I watched. Place to Place may have been nice to watch casually back when it was new in 2012. However, it's 2024 and several better options to pick for the genre have been made over the years. Plus, other slice of life anime have SOMETHING to make them stand out. Here are a couple of examples. Is the Order a Rabbit? has its characters working part-time in cafes. The Demon Girl Next Door has the powers of light and darkness co-existing with each other. What does Place to Place have? A romantic comedy where the main female lead character has superhuman strength and the main male lead character is so charming, girls get nosebleeds around him. That's it, and I refuse to believe those things carry Place to Place. As I said, Place to Place is a romantic comedy…

Such a good romance, it is indeed typical but somehow not a 100% cliche story, i really enjoyed it specially for the comedy. The character designs are cute and charming, fitting the overall tone of the series. It incorporates various comedic scenarios, often centered around the awkwardness and sweetness of young love. The main friend group always gave me the heart-warming vibe i enjoy on animes which made me like it more. Everything on this series is extra simple but thats the charm, its a light anime you can just enjoy. Totally recommended if you want something pretty funny and cute :3

Part 1 English Part 2 Bahasa Indonesia -------------------------------------- Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to take a look at an anime that's as sweet as a slice of cake but just as forgettable. I'm talking about Acchi Kocchi, an anime that's as cute and harmless as a baby panda but doesn't quite deliver the excitement that we've come to expect from our anime review. The premise of Acchi Kocchi is fairly simple. It follows the daily lives of a group of high school students as they navigate their way through friendship, romance, and school life. The main characters, Tsumiki and Io, have a bit of a crush on each other, but as with most anime romances, the relationship never seems to progress beyond shy glances and awkward moments. Now, don't get me wrong, there are moments in Acchi Koc…

Acchi Kocchi is good, simple fun. As a cute, uncomplicated gag comedy with a lingering and adorably awkward love plot, it fulfills its purpose efficiently. Though, there's not much which sets it apart. This isn't to say it's a bad time by any means, I did enjoy it, it's just that I didn't find myself blown away by anything, be it the comedy, pacing, or depth. It's all just pretty good. Beginning with the story, there's not much to explain. A group of high school friends get up to various shenanigans, and two of them are dancing around an oblique and glancing romance. A tried-and-true formula for fun. The art is similarly simple, with pleasing character designs and a bright, punchy art style which makes the main characters stand out from a world which is pretty one-note. It uses this art…

This is my comfort show. Something that's perfect to watch when I'm feeling down. Most of the conflict is either comedic or lighthearted, and the main friend group has great chemistry with each other. Everything has this wholesome and cozy vibe that just makes you feel at ease, and the soft colors and minimalistic stylistic transitions help with the feeling of comfort. Oh, and the main romance duo is just sooo cute, Tsumiki is a shy yet charmingly headstrong girl (at times I've seen her described as the perfect mix between a Tsundere and a Kuudere, though she's way more of a Kuudere) and Io is this quiet, tranquil guy who even if seemingly unaware of Tsumiki's feelings, acts kind and patient around her, so If you're the type of person who get's peeved when the cute girl likes the loser wh…

Generic 2010's rom-com with nothing much special on it. All the aspects of this anime are generic at best, since it doesn't even try to be more than that of course. But still, generic and with little of intererst. It has no story since it's all about the protagonist trying to confess her love, and as usual in these type of anime, it's just random comedy around that. Is not particulary bad or offensive in any way, it's just... way too generic. You will probably find some of the jokes funny but that's all you would get from it. Just an anime you would watch to fill time or to get some 2010's nostalgia. Animation and style was fine, just more colorful Moe, but nothing to make it stand out particularly. I liked the opening at least. Overall, generic at best.

The best way to describe Acchi Kocchi in a few words is: fluffy relaxation. At least that's how it felt for me. This is the kind of anime that just makes you fell all warm and cuddly inside. So it might not be for everyone. If you are looking for drama or serious conflict this is not the anime for you, but if you want to just melt in your chair and get a smile over your face for a few hours watch it! Seeing how this is a slice of life rom-com about a girl who likes a boy set in a school environment, there isn't much of a story to talk about. Shy girl like boy acts all cutesy and stuff, that's all you need to know. The characters are all interesting and funny but the main attraction is Tsumiki, the female lead who is just the cutest thing ever. And by that I don't mean only looks, her inter…

This anime has an enjoyable and interesting storyline to watch, although for some people the art of this anime is a bit disturbing. Although the comedy in this anime is less interesting, the romance between the MC and the heroine attracts me. The absence of barriers or challenges between the two couples made me blush myself. Well, even though the two of them are not lovers, their closeness makes me who doesn't have a partner envious :'>. What I ask about this anime is; Why don't they just date? Is it because they are both shy so they don't admit their own feelings. Come on guys, don't make me jealous of you guys. Those who are not dating each other are like that, while I? I haven't had a boyfriend for 16 years and have a close relationship with women like you. Huh, 9/10 from me

#1 Even with the absence of character progression your still able to see that these characters know who they are and where they want to be and this means they have already reached their peak as individuals so its focus isn't on them growing but enjoying the company of each other and giving you the viewer the chance to smile along side them. Its not the kind of show that will impress you but it is a good watch if you are ever having a rainy day. I really enjoy its focus on Japanese humor and I believe some people will probably not enjoy it as much as I did but that said I do wish the romance would have been a little more then just some sprinkles on top.

tl;dr: A well-animated 4-koma slice of life show whose comedy doesn't always work, but can be counted on to be cute and relaxing. This anime doesn't hold up so well as a result of tons of shows that came after it reusing its jokes, which is unfortunate because it executes them really well. But if you haven't gotten tired of the "nothing happens but cute" slice-of-life formula this is a standout work in the genre. The cast all support each other really well in each little skit, and while their reactions to certain things can be predicted easily after a few episodes, I never really got tired of watching it. Particularly, I liked the "goof" character, Mayoi, as she is the butt of many jokes but doesn't end up some pitiful character. Her voice actor also gave a hilarious performance and she…

sometimes you need some recommendation with some animes, like "prepare some tissues if you want to watch clannad".well with acchi kocchi you also need some tissues, not because you are going to cry,but because nosebleed.so much cuteness is almost criminal. there's not a lot to say about acchi kocchi, only positive things for me.it's a moe slice of life comedy.the characters are really lovable, the group dynamic between them is great,i fell in love with them at first sight.the humor is simple but it works really well.and overload of cuteness. acchi kocchi is the kind of show that is mandatory after a long day at work,or just a hard day. but if you reject moe (what are you doing with your life),or if you can't watch a show because it doesn't talk about existentialism in the modern era,or because…

There is something special about the budding romance of a close friendship, and despite one's insistence for it to blossom, a flower must bloom on its own through time and care. Story: In this anime, five main characters live through their high school life as we follow them for an entire year, conducting their antics, entertainment, and enjoying each moment together in moe adorable fashion. From the winter season to summer season, from school activities to finding fun outside of it, these characters live their life exploring and experiencing many little things, learning more about their friends. Throughout the show, the format is quite simple: all five friends messing around with each other and seeing the close relationship and possible romance between Io and Tsumiki, as well as their thr…

Acchi Kocchi, simply, is just an adorable anime. There is a purity behind the relationships amongst the main characters that isn't polluted with ecchi style elements (although I wouldn't argue this show is primarily intended for children). The love story between the two main characters, petite catgirl Tsumiki Miniwa and stoic Io Otonashi, is heartwarming to see, and it is whenever these two characters are put together in a scene that the anime truly shines. The usage of cat elements with Tsumiki, in particular, highlights the proverbial cuteness of this anime that makes this reviewer want to give such a high score to this anime. Adding on the mischevious prankster Mayoi Katase, who somehow manages to pull off wearing a lab coat in any scenario, the straight-man Sakaki Inui, and the clumsy…

Story - I gave the story a 5 because it is very basic and has no actual story to it. It is just what happens in their daily life however, what they do in the episodes is not that interesting. Art - The art is kind of poor and basic. However it is not the worst i have seen. Sound- I dont remember any voices that have stuck out to me in this show. But the voice acting was decent i guess. Character - Characters were basic but had some interesting traits to them. Enjoyment - For enjoyment i gave it a 4. It was not that bad it was just something that i found and watched all the way through because there was nothing else. Overall - Overall i thought this show was okay. Although it is not something i would watch again. I don't recommend this show to others because it is very basic and they c…

I found Acchi Kocchi from a youtube moment video and it was pretty interesting so I added it to my watching list to watch it soon later but then I had forgotten all about it the next day. I then decided to watch other anime instead since I judge anime from its cover and Acchi Kocchi's cover did not look appealing to me. After a long time, I finally finished it and I really regretted it. I regretted that I could have watched it in my laptop at home all in one go instead of watching it in my phone and having to stop between each episode everytime I reached my destination. I can understand why this is so underrated. When you think of the word "loli" in anime the picture that comes to your mind would be a cute little girl doing cute things that would make you go "awww kawaii!" which supports…

This series hasn't aged well at all. Maybe back in 2012, where this type of genre was not done to death yet, it might have been good or up to standards. Nowadays watching this 7 years after its release, it is quite apparent that it's boring. Because love comedies like this have been circulated way too frequently for me to ever enjoy something so bare bones and normal looking. You know, romance and comedies have gone quite a way, and its apparent when looking at this show. Nothing special about it, and nothing interesting. Very generic supporting characters for a typical romantic ML and FL. So, the story is obviously very simple, but the characters also don't make up for the simple story. Choose one to be decent at least. I only watched this because my friend recommended it, but oh boy, i…

Oh my. You have no idea how many times I died watching this series. Its tooooo cute! Its tooo moe!! I FREAKIN’ LOVE IT!!! Acchi Kocchi was indeed a shocker. The story follows the everyday life of Tsumiki and her very dense yet really kind crush, Io, along with their fellow classmates and peers. This anime is a simple highschool anime that has slice-of-life, comedy, a bit of romance & a gallon full of cuteness under its belt. I was expecting this to be the typical ones that we usually see nowadays, but oh boy I’m wrong. The level of comedy in this anime doesn’t reach the heights of Konosuba or Monthly Girl’s Nozaki-kun, but its more subtle and easy to digest on. What made it funny is the fact that their jokes were really mundane and it could definitely happen in real life, insert the slice…
