I will keep it short as usual and I will avoid spoilers.
Owari no Seraph is a really interesting and underrated anime. I really like the concept, it’s set in a dark, post-apocalyptic world where humans and vampires are in conflict. It mixes action, fantasy and drama which work really well together.
The characters are really well written and designed. The music is good. I really like the animation especially the fight scenes which are amazing. The art looks clean and it really fits the dark tone of the anime. The story is great but unfinished and I hope that one day we will get the full story.
I really hope we get a season 3. I know it’s been over 10+ years since season 2 was released but I still have hope.

I confess I thought the protagonist would be a mix of Sasuke from Naruto and Asta from Black Clover, but thank God he wasn't.
The story is simple. In a world of humans and vampires, humans kill vampires and vampires kill humans. Vampires killed the protagonist's family, and now he seeks revenge. If you removed the vampires from the narrative, you could say the main character is a clone of Sasuke, however, unlike our edgy boy with Sharingan, Yuuichirou matures very quickly. Speaking of speed, that's the only thing that happens quickly. The first frontline battle only happens around episode 7, because everything that happens before that episode serves as "development" of the character to show him strong enough to join the army. The anime is about fighting vampires, and half…

Owari no Seraph delivers a solid introduction to anime storytelling through a familiar yet engaging post-apocalyptic setting. While the main plot follows a structure that experienced viewers may find predictable, the execution keeps it entertaining rather than dull. The balance between action, emotional stakes, and character motivations makes each episode easy to follow, which is especially welcoming for newcomers. The atmosphere successfully blends despair, hope, and conflict without overwhelming the viewer, creating a smooth and accessible viewing experience right from the start.
Visually, the art style holds up well considering the year of its release. Character designs are distinctive, and the animation during combat scenes remains impactful. More importantly, the characters are given…

I first stumbled across this series while playing AMQ with my friend TheDeep07. A random opening came on, and the visuals, especially the vampire dancing, immediately caught our attention. That single opening was enough to convince both of us to check out the show, and what started as curiosity quickly turned into a full binge. After watching the entire series in just three days, I can confidently say it became one of the most memorable anime experiences I’ve had. The show balances its tone extremely well, mixing style, energy, and personality in a way that made every episode easy to keep watching. Once it got going, it never felt like it lost momentum.
What really stood out to me was how engaging the presentation was. The music, visuals, and character interactions worked together to crea…

Seraph of the End is another anime that managed to draw me in, but I have a few problems with it. Perhaps the biggest drawback for me is the brevity of the story, incomplete explanations of things, and a general lack of confidence in the creators knowing where and how they want to take the story. However, I am glad that the main characters are well-written and I really liked Shino's "biting" jokes. Unfortunately, as is the case with many anime - the story is unfinished and I don't know if I can hope for a sequel, but if they do, I will definitely watch it with pleasure.

started this show cause of guren edits and stayed for the mika x yuu doomed yaoi🤫 nothing really crazy plot or art wise, but i ate it up nonetheless. most of the characters are likeable and there are some veryy pretty character designs on the vampires side. tbh almost everyone is pretty and likeable and that made this watchable without getting bored. by the end i wasnt rooting for either side not only cause they're both morally grey but bc there are face cards on both that i wanna see in s2😹 my man crowley better not die tf
i lovee shinoa and mika, hate the fact that they both lowkey want yuu.. cause im jealous. his greed sickens me

So much good characters! Yuu, Mika, Guren, Shinya, Kureto...
Then there is Krul.
My problem with this entire anime is Krul.
I like the plot, its unique and youre rooting for Yuu and Mika to reunite! the writing is nice, sucks they discontinued it for basically no reason but they stleast ended it, but why do people like Krul?
She is so weird and gross to Mika, yet fans praise her for being "girlboss?"
There is no reason to like her, she is disgusting. Yes, she adds to the plot, but her actions give me a huge "ick" so why do people like a character like her?
Also we could have gone without Mitsuba, she reminds me of Squirrelflightstar/neg

So I just finished Seraph of the End and it was such an emotional ride. The whole series is packed with epic battles, but what really hit me was how deep the story went. It's not just about fighting vampires. 🧛♂️It's about loss, betrayal, and finding hope even when everything seems lost. 💔
Even though Yuichiro is the main character, my favorite by far became Mika. 🖤His story is so tragic and emotional, and I found myself really connecting with him. Despite everything he's been through, he’s still such a strong character, and I couldn't help but root for him. His journey really stood out to me.
The action scenes were amazing, but they were always tied to the characters' emotions, so they never felt empty. Every battle meant something. Overall, Seraph of the End is such a beautiful and…

It's not often I give 10s out and it's not often I find an anime that has me hooked from the very first episode but Seraph of the End to me was an incredible watch. This review is coming from someone who doesn't tend to watch this genre of anime as primarily I only really watch rom/coms, slice of life, isekais and more laid back shows.
First I want to mention the story: The story was really good. I know it may sound like your run of the mill survival anime about Humans VS Vampires but it feels so much more than that. It's a story about how some Orphans are scared for their life, all have a tragic backstory and are all held hostage by the vampires as their too weak to fend for themselves but one human managed to escape but in the process what he considered to be family wasn't able to make…

Owari no Seraph is a success despite the number of anime about vampires. Nevertheless, it stands out from the others. Why? Simply because we don't know where the vampires come from or their origins. Humans live normal lives.
Then, there is a significant point that this anime is considered a plagiarism, particularly of another anime, Attack on Titan. They share a common theme: revenge against monsters. However, numerous contradictions prove that these two anime are different. Starting with the characters. The main male character of Attack on Titan is Eren Jeager, a young boy who lost his mother to a Titan. The main male character of Seraph of the End is Yuichiro Hyakuya, who also lost his brother Mikaela Hyakuya. These two characters are different because Yuichiro has a brother we already…

This? This was popular?
My exposure to this show prior to watching it was that I had kind of heard it mentioned in passing one time; that's it. I otherwise entered completely blind with only the knowledge that it currently sits at #100 on the popularity charts. "Surely there must be reason", I thought to myself, but I was unprepared for how wrong I was.
Before my rambling, I would like to first make note of the animation: It's good. Wit Studio generally does not make "bad" animation, and with this being right off the heels of AOT, it's understandable that they would put their best foot forward.
The first episode was good. Not a masterpiece by any means, but it presents a great setup as well as ending off with what would be a genuinely badass execution of a vampire. "Ok, I'm interested"…

Note: This will be a review of both seasons.
Overview:
Take one look at "Seraph of the End", and you'll probably get the impression that it's just "Attack on Titan with vampires", complete with the same animation studio and composer. However, if you're going to end up judging or dismissing the series just because of that, you'd be making a big mistake. While it's certainly nowhere near the masterpiece "Attack on Titan" is, "Seraph of the End" is still a highly entertaining, exciting and moving series in its own right, and is absolutely worth your time provided you're not too picky about what you watch.
Story (7.5/10):
Set in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by a man-made virus that allegedly killed everyone over the age of 13, followed by vampires emerging and taking over the world, "Ser…

The anime starts off very promising, offering an interesting story and well-developed characters. At first, the plot is captivating with a perfect combination of action, drama and comedy. However, as it approaches the middle, the quality begins to decline drastically. The plot becomes increasingly inconsistent and seems forced, while previously solid character development begins to be neglected. When entering the final part, this anime increasingly loses direction. The initially complex narrative turns cliche and full of plot holes. The character development is also not as strong as it was at the beginning, making them feel flat and less interesting. Although this anime starts out with great potential, the execution in the second half and ending makes it a disappointing experience. Unfortu…

HOW CAN A ANIME BE TERRIBLE IN EVERYTHING IT PROPOSED TO BE GOOD. this is just more one shonnen that have afraid to shows what it want to talk, Like: its a basic shonnen of two boys, but in the same way, it had a sexual appeal between TWO BROTHERS, and the author want to hide the absolutly gay vibes of the anime, because dont want to lose the watchers, but in the same want to attract the fujoshis. it can be bad in the begin, when it supposed to be a basic story about a hero in the school, it can be bad in the relationships of the charcters, it can be bad in the world building, this shit its so bad that the only good thing in the story is the brothers of the protagonist that dies in the first episodes, and im not talking about mika.

The bond between yuu and mika is something i looked forward to in the first season
why do i always get the best anime either randomly or by mistake?
it's soo good, the whole adaptation was worth every second
the way they portray friendship and love for one's family is so cool
at first i thought yuu needed to work on his strength but as the show progressed i started to understand what it was al about i hate when guren acts as an a**hole when he should talk about things seriously
overall, they did a great job in the production of this anime

Despite the amount of bad reviews I saw when seeing if I should watch this I turned it on anyway and I can say I wad not disappointed. Many people say this anime is your typical revenge driven Mc, but this is not true.
For me personally even though I watch and enjoy some larger animes like My Hero Academia and Bleach I actually really enjoy smaller more fast paced ones. This show is more similar to what I like although yes it does start a little slower than others I have seen it also still keeps up with the fast paced action and battles within the first couple episodes.
Basically what I am saying is this anime is worth watching if you enjoy short animes that actually have a decent story and doesn’t take 5 episodes to actually get to why the Mc wants revenge.
The characters are fun, th…

Whenever a certain product becomes popular among the masses, it is guaranteed to have imitators trying to off its success. So when Attack on Titan became mainstream, imitators started popping up. One of these shows is Owari no Seraph or Seraph of the End in English.
Right off the bat, the world makes zero sense. In the first episode, a virus kills basically everyone except people 13 years of age. And why everyone 13 and under survives this super virus that wiped out most of the human in like a day? Here’s the biggest problem with Seraph when it comes to its narrative, it never answers why things happen. When it comes to any story, there are five important questions to ask: What happened? Who was there? Why did it happen? When did it happens? Where did it happen? Now if you were to why stu…

i watched it because i was trying to get back into anime after a huge "i hate weeaboos" break and i like vampires & mxm ships and i have to say, it was absolute ass. the art style is ugly and generic, the animation is 75% stills and the voice acting sucks. as for the story, the characters are badly written, the story is all just predictable power of friendship tropey bullshit. mika and shinoa were the only characters i didnt hate as much and they were just used as yuu's love interests. a total waste of time. i kept watching because i thought it would get better, i dropped it at battle of nagoya ep1 becsuse it just didnt get better. if you want something mind numbing to zone out to, i still wouldnt reccommend it. if youre a fangirl looking for shipping opportunities, i wouldnt reccommend it…

This show doesn't fuck around. After Covid killed the entire adult population, a shadowy cabal of vampires emerged from the hollow earth, took over the world and enslaved the surviving children. These children are raised like cattle, because the vampires need to consume adrenochrome to prolong their unnatural life. Our hero and his family only barely get by because one of them serves as a plaything for a rich pedo. All of this happens in the first five minutes. The best way to sum it up would be with a quote by Jonathan Frakes "This story is based". As you can probably imagine by the end of the first episode, I was scared and fascinated in equal parts by the authors power level. Just what is he going to talk about next? Flat earth, Chinese organ markets or fucking Hyperborea were all equal…

Right off the bat, I am gonna say this, this anime does almost nothing better than any other anime. Originality is severely lacking. That being said, I enjoyed this anime and I think most people will too. This anime has some problems that I will detail below without spoiling anything, but I wanted to simplify things here in case this is all you want to read. This anime's biggest flaw is that it is really slow to hit and relies on the viewer finding interest in some lackluster world and character building until the highlight of the run-around episode 9 or 10. It is worth it to get to the end, but I can see why many people end up dropping this anime before. If you can't try Attack on Titan, Darling in the Franks, Chainsaw Man, or Naruto. They have similar themes with much better execution.…
