An ecchi-comedy cliché that manages to be entertaining enough to fulfill its purpose, yet is unlikely to leave a lasting impression.
The plot is straightforward: it centers on a school for high-society girls who have grown up virtually isolated from the outside world, with no direct contact with ordinary people and little understanding of how society functions beyond their privileged environment. Consequently, they struggle to adapt to the real world, which is where our protagonist, Kimito Kagurazaka, comes in. He is essentially kidnapped to serve as a sample of an "ordinary citizen" for these girls. His mission is to introduce them to the reality of the male perspective and aid in their adjustment, though, naturally, things take turns quite different from what was expected.

Shomin Sample is a short anime with only one season—12 episodes, totaling four hours—which is great for those who want to spend some time watching something mildly funny with a touch of romance, and why not, a bit of ecchi.
Its story revolves around Kagurazaka Kimito, a high school student who is forced to study at an all-girls school. As if that weren't bad enough, he's also forced to pretend to like men's muscles to avoid having his genitals removed. At this school, he meets Arisugawa Reiko—a popular girl, class president, who has a crush on the protagonist—Jinryou Karen—a violent swordswoman, who has a crush on the protagonist—Shiodome Hakua—a loli (who for some reason takes her clothes off... and she's 14?!?!), who has a crush on the protagonist—and Tenkuubashi Aika—…

I watched Shomin Sample, and I have to say—this whole anime is ridiculous. It’s basically the same recycled plot you’ll find in every other male harem anime: a “normal” guy gets thrown into an absurd situation surrounded by girls, each representing a specific trope, and nothing of value really happens.
The show had the potential to be an interesting social experiment—a commoner boy introduced to a school of wealthy, ultra-sheltered girls to help them understand the outside world. But instead of any meaningful exploration, we get a series of dumb, repetitive gags and eye-roll-worthy misunderstandings. And I can’t believe I’m even saying this, but the fanservice is boring. Yes, the girls are “sheltered,” but that doesn’t mean they have to be portrayed as completely brainless. I get that it’…

It's totally daft, this is not high art, it is a harem with fan service. The wit is sparkling and it had me chuckling many times over. Our MC is no beta simp. While he may look away out of courtesy, he doesn't get nose bleeds or faints. He is happy to look at the female form but he is not pervy about it, so he is quite refreshing. His harem of four (maybe five) is small by modern standards. They are all uniquely different. so pick your fave and place your bets (mine is Karen). So it gets points for not being crude and obvious with the fan service, with most of the "smut" being suggestive dialog that makes you giggle. For me it is a show with two sides, a warm hearted romance with the harem with the very witty side of the culture shock of the school girls learning about the commoner's world…

The story takes place at a prestigious all-girls academy.
The main character Kimito is yanked from his own school and is brought to attend this academy so that these sheltered girls can get an idea about the world of the commoners.
Kimito is only allowed to stay because the heads of the academy believe him to be gay and into very muscular men.
Roll intro: “♫ Come and knock on our door. We've been waiting for you. Where the kisses are hers and hers and his. Three's company too ♪ ♬”
Eventually he unintentionally creates a harem (the Commoners Club).
-You have Hakua the 14 yr old loli who looks like she’s in grade school. She’s a science and engineering genius. She only opens up Kimito. Is very attached to him and acts like a little sister around him including sitting on his lap. Oh and sh…

I recommend this anime for those of you who are looking for an anime with a theme that is quite relaxing.
That's all there is to it.
Quite an interesting theme, about a special school for princesses who don't know much about the outside world, so the arrival of "Ordinary People Samples" surprises them.
Although I didn't like some of the stories a little, because there were several conflicts in them.
I praise the hard work of this anime, the quality of the graphics and the beautiful characters, In my opinion, no characters are excluded here, even if they are NPC characters, they are still neatly made.
However, unfortunately there is no sequel to this anime, even though there are still quite a lot of mysteries that have not been revealed.

Apart from Reiko, other female characters remain dull. The absurd comedy seems good at first, but it can't make you laugh anymore because it repeats too much. On top of that, some chapters feel like they are just empty to fill them in, episode 10 can be cited as an example of this. The music was so ordinary that I couldn't hold a place in my mind with any other music.
We don't get to know the main characters deeply. Ecchi and Harem feel like they were put there just to be featured. Because it doesn't affect the course of the scenario much. In fact, after a while, it made me think that it would be okay if it wasn't. There are almost no romantic-comedy parts. In short, it is an anime that tries to be many things but does not focus on anything deeply.
I give it 3 out of 10.

Shomin Sample is an example of a one of a kind ecchi series. The premise is original, guy gets kidnapped and forcefully gets transferred in another school full of Ojou-samas (Lady-like Girls) to become the "your average citizen" example. But I'm not here to talk about the synopsis, I'm here to talk what i think about the show.
It is enjoyable, Ecchi yes but not very much. A lot of Ecchi anime fail to balance out its storyline and the ecchi genre of the anime which in result the show just strays away from the story. While the show does focus on the harem aspect of it, it doesn't stray away from its main premise.
the whole thing is very lighthearted, there's actually not much to intensity in the show and just makes it your casual comedy ecchi anime, which I would think is a bad thing, Why…

Short review for generic ecchi harem #25099 is generic. Gets.
I am not going to attempt to even write a normal review for this anime solely because the score, 6.84, does the talking for me, and the real title, " Story in Which I Was Kidnapped by a Young Lady's School to be a "Sample of the Common People" ", though I would rate it lower on my own fixed scale (not the sorting one I use).
In one word, this is generic. Nothing more, nothing less. I wouldn't say it tries to go beyond being one word or even going lower than one word. It simply works best to describe Shomin Sample as generic. Audiovisuals are average and enjoyment fuels from cliche tropes too. What I will say is that I have a problem with the story's writing. I don't know if the writers tried to add "character" but the story a…

I think this show is an enjoyable one but... deffinetly not a good show, or a bad one to be honest. It's really bad that the manga ended the way it did but... sometimes you don't get what you want.
The plot is non existant, just like every other show of this kind, the characters are okish, except for the main protagonist which is absolutely boring... just like most of them on this kind of showm the music is there, nothing spectacular or something that is going to last in my head.
Even with all the bad points of this show I quite enjoyed it, unlike the quintaesential quituplets, or howerver is writen, at last I had fun watching it, it has really charming and funny moments and that's a really good strong point. The art is cute but nothing spectacular, obviousty is a show for several years…

Do you want to watch a harem that is actually refreshing? Do you like ridiculous ecchi situations and like how the main character time after time manages to get out of them? Look no more, because Shomin Sample is precisely that.
Honestly, when I first started watching this show, I was expecting a lot of boilerplate and template material. What I mean to say is that the ecchi/harem genre has been forever ruined with the template scenario and boilerplate characters. Many ecchi/harem anime titles tend to "lend" ideas from one another which kind of ruins the genre. In the end, it's just the same recycled joke that you've probably seen dozen of times in other titles. Shomin Sample proved me wrong though.
Shomin Sample surprised me with the amount of creativity, originality and actual thought…

When you see people trying to write a thesis to either praise or trash an anime, you should try (like i´ve done with this one) and sometimes is worth it.
The anime does not requires so much toughts, cute girls overreacting to common things while you laugh of how much dumb they are. You can also pick some waifus and cheer for the mc to interact more with your favorite.
Watch at free time, drink some beer and just enjoy this one.
PS: I dont´understand why this site is requiring so much text to review, want me to write a novel already? LMAO

This is probably one of the worst anime I have ever watched. It is a cliché boring harem where the mc gets overwhelmed by annoying girls and although I usually love harems, this one was particularly boring and the only reason I kept on watching it was because I had nothing better to do. The comedy was bad and there was a particular joke about some weird and not funny meme that went on for about an episode. There is no actual romance in it and the characters are just there to be funny and utterly fail in doing so. DO NOT WATCH THIS IF YOU WANT A GOOD TIME!!!!!

Ore ga Ojousama Gakkou ni "Shomin Sample" Toshite Gets♥Sareta Ken (2015)
STORY:
Ever though you could be a lucky guy who gets to go to an all-girls school and have them all be in a secluded location that means they are naive to the world and also have not only maids around, but maids in French maid outfits and even a personal one? Sounds great but ensure you are willing to lie about a muscle fetish that someone said you had to keep you away from other girls. What a backfire that was for the girl! As the only male commoner added to this school Kagurazaka, Kimito has to learn to keep up appearances whilst in a sea of dreams. So many short skirts and thighs on show, can he do it? Who knows?
ART:
The art is very typical of the genre it is going for and has a great set of emotions portra…

tl;dr: A standard harem romcom with a pretty interesting setting and cast of characters.
This anime is a pretty standard harem romcom, though it's also a pretty solid one. It uses the pretty generic 'single boy taken to an all girls school' trope, but it does put an interesting twist on it due to the high class nature of the school and hence the strange set of characters found within. In terms of characters, there's a pretty varied and interesting cast each with their own quirks that make them interesting. A lot of these are small things, such as Aika being really gullible, Reiko being prone to falling into delusion, Hakua hating to lose, or Karen putting down the things she liked, but they add up to make the cast seem pretty colorful. But what I felt was more interesting was that there s…

The premise of the show is a dime a dozen utterly forgettable plot, the porno equivalent of a handyman turning up on a helpless house wife's doorstep. It exists solely to drive the service of the show and is not realistic in the slightest. That being said, the show rather wisely chooses not to take itself seriously and even incorporates a meta in this respect which serves to "lamp shade" (a literary device used to bring attention to an issue or flaw and poke fun at it to acknowledge it and lesson its dissonance affect), raising its entertainment quality value above that of the average harem. To clarify, one of the issues many harem shows have is that they rely solely on the service to sell its content and so the suspension of disbelief is unfortunately often loose at best because of a lack…

I'll try to be helpful with this one.
This is a harem comedy with some Haganai vibes. I recommend the dubbed version because it's hilarious (in a good way). I'd put it on par with the dub of D-Frag! as far as harem comedies go.
Story:
A boy is enrolled at an all-girls academy for extremely rich and refined high school students. It's out in the boonies and is kept secret from the public, so you know these chicks are as isolated and sheltered as Tarzan--except instead of being unfamiliar with the civilized world, they're strangers to the life of the "commoner." The MC is one such commoner. He's introduced to the academy as an experiment and is allowed to stay, provided that he pretends he's into dudes (which is more of a running joke than a plot point) and manly muscles (even though he's…

Nothing much to say. An anime with a guy who (is forced to) love muscles and men in a school full of girls? Sounds good to me!
Even though the plot is not too unique: a boy suddenly changes to a female school, Nanatsuki-sensei has expanded it: more situations, more secrets and in fact it adds more colors to this series, so don’t dismiss this hastily. Let’s read this review instead and take a few second to decide whether you want to spend time with it or not.
When people see something beautiful, attractive and very expensive compare to their normal stuff, not surprising to know their feelings. But we are talking about the wealthy people’s daughters who use its every day. Since they were born, they have lived in a prosperity life that separated them from outside world, no wonder they act…

Honestly this has been the first anime to actually make me laugh this much. Shomin Sample was full of funny moments and it was an entertaining watch. After 125+ watched this was my first review just because I enjoyed how much it made me laugh and how much fun it was. Definitely give this a shot if you need something to watch.
Of course the art was good as well as the sound. The OP was pretty nice and got really catchy. Had some kinda feel that I liked about it. Overall this deserves a good 8-9 in my book. Enjoyable series with a pretty funny MC who likes to prank some of the other characters.

Unlike the girls of Ore ga Ojousama Gakkou ni “Shomin Sample” Toshite Gets♥Sareta Ken (if you tried to say the title ten times fast, you would not get done for an entire year), I have never been a fancy person let alone a rich person. I do not buy expensive clothes. I do not own exquisite pieces of art. I do not seek out caviar taste-tasting parties.
The fanciest I have ever been treated is at Disney. More specifically, the Disney cruise. Like any cruise, the ocean, the boat, and the activities are abundant. However, what separates a Disney cruise from most other cruises are the unique restaurants they contain. But the restaurants were not the best part.
The best part was that each family got not one but two pers…
