Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town?

Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town?

Introduction

A long time ago, the ancient saviors of humanity founded a village as their haven, with their descendants said to assist humanity in times of extreme chaos. This village, Kunlun, is located just beside the infamous "Last Dungeon"—a place where monsters of unimaginable strength reside and which serves as the hunting grounds for Kunlun residents. Despite being accustomed to defeating powerful enemies since childhood, Lloyd Belladonna regards himself as the weakest in his village in terms of magic, strength, and intelligence. Even so, to fulfill his desire of becoming a soldier, he goes to the Kingdom of Azami to enroll in its military academy. However, as someone whose upbringing defies common sense, Lloyd's innate power might just prove to be the key to end the crises enveloping the kingdom! [Written by MAL Rewrite]

An adventure comedy that’s a bit like KonoSuba, only in reverse. Tatoeba Last Dungeon Mae no Mura no Shounen ga Joban no Machi de Kurasu Youna Monogatari is the kind of anime that grabs your attention right away with its visuals and a simple yet fun premise. The show presents a fantasy world with a beautiful, colorful aesthetic that fits perfectly with the classic adventure vibe. The background art is pleasing and easily evokes the feeling of being inside an RPG or fantasy game, featuring cities, villages, monsters, and characters that look like they stepped straight out of a medieval adventure. While the animation isn't exactly spectacular, hovering around average, it gets the job done well; combined with the bright, vibrant visuals, it makes the show very easy to follow. However, what…

Ahg my head hurts, detestable clueless characters and plot twists everywhere. The whole thing is ridiculous and has some comedy to it the world is interesting but I can't make sense how that would work. Had it not been mostly slice-of-life of a monstrously powerful, caring MC it could have been greater. The ending is the most ridiculous of all here, it makes no sense at all, I refuse this development. Some characters were enjoyable at least, I liked the dynamic of the loli hag cursing the witch. Can't we just have hundred seasons of short form episodes with that comedy style?

the anime is fun and good and i rate it good cause i like overpowered mc animes. though ending episodes kinda screw it up a little. imagine if you are at one of the world top most elite school or university and you are the lowest in education grades and other aspects. so what you do is you go to some unknow village in the boonies with uneducated people and get in a lowest school there. so of coarse you are gonna be a thousand times better than everyone there. but thats not your playing ground. thats no power or talent and its certainly not entertaining, its rather sad and pitiful. but regardless that anime is great so do watch, i totally recomend.

The comedy in this anime feels like guessing on a multiple-choice test—you might get a few laughs, but overall, it misses the mark. Nearly every scene tries to turn into a joke, resulting in a barrage of random gags that rarely land. The humor feels forced and relentless, making the story suffer as a result. There’s potential in the premise—a powerful yet humble protagonist from a legendary village moving to a "starter town" is ripe for engaging storytelling. Unfortunately, the creators seem more interested in shallow comedy than meaningful plot development. Visually, the anime is serviceable. The art style is nothing to write home about, and while there’s some fanservice sprinkled throughout, it's neither excessive nor memorable. It looks fine, but never stands out. Overall, I can’t re…

I know this will be a divisive remark, but I think this show is trying to do something similar to One Punch Man, but with the standard Harem Isekai tropes as well. To that effect, I think that under certain circumstances this show is very high quality and manages to succeed in this endeavor. I watched this show at 1.5x speed on dub. That being the case, many of the jokes managed to not only land, but occasionally catch me off guard. In particular, the absurdity of some of the scenes, like a belt talking about its grandchildren, in the moment may not seem completely absurd, but it quickly builds until a genuinely funny joke appears when you were already somewhat cracked. I am a somewhat cynical person and force myself to be more understanding for many of these reviews, but I genuinely don'…

"Don't ever trust this is good only because everyone has already watched them" That's to sum up the anime. We have a good animation, a good world structure, good premise, but still, they all mess it up with annoying punchable-in-the-face MC. It's so dumb that I couldn't watch it without insulting "trash MC, told to just think normally but he's failing". It's so trash i don't even know who is the villain at the end was so mundane that makes it like "Huh that's it?". I mean this anime has potential but the story is just bad bad bad from pacing, choosing the climax, or the intensity. It doesn't have any identity, the villain would be suited to just it be called "nosy naughty villain" but they need a bit of fight first. I would give it 4 just because the good animation fight scene and overall…

I dont really think this anime deserves its low ranking. Let me tell you why. Let me get this out of the way: there are very legitimate criticisms that can be leveled against this anime. It's trite. It doesn't really have a plot. The characters are one dimensional and exhibit little to know growth throughout the whole thing. If this were trying to be a serious anime, it would be a 4, ,maybe, if I'm generous. But here's the thing: it's not. It's not a serious anime and it's clear that this anime has no intention of taking itself seriously, and does not ask you to either. It's a lighthearted, comedic romp whose sole purpose is to make you laugh. And, at least for me, it succeeds in that completely. You can tell it's not serious because most of the characters are named after chemical compo…

[Having been a huge fan of isekai, fantasy, an OP MC type of anime — this anime is definitely coming out on top! A light and happy anime with non-complex yet profound conflicts, all masked with silliness and love, definitely one-of-a-kind. — 10/10] Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies moved to a starter town? is already a silly title, so expect lots of silliness! Silly is the perfect word to describe the amount of comedy in this anime, which is one of its features that stands out the most. It's lighthearted with comedy all over the plot yet not to the point that it deserves to be considered a parody because there are adequate serious moments as well. Nevertheless, to watch an anime with such a title while expecting an anime with complex conflict, 12-episode-journey that has to foll…

Okay I understand why this show gets so much hate, but honestly it wasn’t that bad. This show is in my opinion perfect example of stuff to watch if you want some cheap entertainment. It’s generic, sometimes annoying, predictable and LOUD with clché Japanesse anime style of homour. On the other hand humour knows no bounderies as many of reviewers already said and it worked for me although it was too much "cringy" sometimes. On top of that it looks good, has some enjoyable characters (some not), solid sound effects and if you won’t take it seriously and mainly don’t expect too much you got exactly what I said. It doesn’t mean it’s a good show at all tho. There isn’t anything else except of nice animations and humor which would make this show more enjoyable and these are primary aspects whic…

tl;dr: An anime that is good at using one narrow kind of comedy but doesn’t do well at anything beyond that. This anime is centered around comedy involving the protagonist, Lloyd, being overpowered but not realizing this and considering himself weak due to his background and immense naivety. There’s some variety to this, in that he’s overpowered at quite a few things ranging from fighting monsters to cooking and cleaning. And there are lots of characters that react to all this in different ways. Still, at the end of the day, that’s what the core of the anime is. If you aren’t fond of such humor then you won’t like this anime. I enjoy this type of comedy and the execution here was pretty good, and thus enjoyed most of the anime. Beyond that it does try to flesh out other characters at lea…

Even up as far as episode 10, I still held out hope that this could turn into an eight. Regularly, that never happened. What should have been done is leaving it all light-hearted and without any sort of pretend conflict. This really comes down to a slice of life kind of magical period show. It's simply just happy and friendly, but it wasn't until episode 9 that any conflict showed up. Rather than trying to make it hardcore and deep in that little period of time with a lot of typical fighting and camaraderie etc, they just kind of sprinkled it through with each of the different bad guys before pulling them all together for a predictable and disappointing end. What would have made it better for me? Let's at least give the poor guy some sort of romantic interest or even a close companion to…

possibly the most forgettable anime imaginable. its genuinely impressive how mediocre it is in every capacity. the rawest 5/10 you could ever conceive. watched all in 1 go and if you ask me or anyone else in the watch-party to name a single plot point, theme, or more than 4 characters names it would be a struggle. i have no hate towards this show. i have no love towards this show. it is nothing. your time is better spent elsewhere. but if you desire pure slop to not think about for a second, then perhaps this is for you WDYM MY REVIEW NEEDS MORE INFOMATION. ITS NOTHING. SELEN WAS KINDA FUNNY, WHITE WOMAN JUMPSCARE. I LAUGHED PERHAPS TWICE. IS THIS YOUR GOD? ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED????

The show was awesome at first but the ending got confusing. At first, it tried to set up a serious "superhero" type of ending but then it diverted so abruptly to clueless comedy that wasn't needed at that point. The mood was a mess. Then again are the villains truly villains or just some attention-seeking pranksters? It's hard to tell when there's little information about them to begin with (backstory, resolve, motivation, etc) so they mostly felt generic. The character development in general was questionable. Overall it's fun to watch if you need a good laugh to pass the time. Just don't take it seriously.

I normally don't write reviews but I just had to for this one. This anime WAS cute. The main character is really sweet and nice. He’s also very…too NAIVE. Everyone is surrounding him as a hero and he does so many feats but he’s both naïve and dense. He’s so naïve that even when he fights demon lords and monsters he believes horrible stories instead of what actually happened. Even toward the end nothing happened at all because he doesn’t even know what s*** is going on while he’s fighting it. So yes. This anime was pretty bad. If the main character learned and believed a story ONE time, the anime would have progressed and he would have actually been a good character. They ruined it by doing absolutely nothing for such a good story setup.

This show looked up my ally. As soon as I saw the art in the first episode I was dead set on watching it the whole way through, it looked fantastic. The sound was pretty good too, although I kept hearing the airblast sound effect from TF2 which was weird. However, the main reason I'm rating this so low is because of the characters. They felt very... static. No one really "grew up" or changed asides for Selen but her change was essentially in her introduction. Even through all the bs about getting stronger and defeating monsters that our MC Lloyd spews he stays the exact same little dense naïve generic MC we see in episode 1. Even through all the random and crazy things Kunluns do our supporting cast still leave their mouths wide open whenever Lloyd touches something with his superhuman st…

It's fun at the beginning but then then it starts to be boring jokes keep being repeated. I just can't ... even if you like comedy this is just not it. One punch is written really good it have good characters it have good main hero and really comedy done right with some seriousness in it. This one have nothing it's just same overused jokes all over again it becomes boring as hell. Story isn't interesting there is nothing special to it. Art and Sound was good but that's only one component that is actually good but everything else is really bad. Main character is OP which can actually written interestingly but not this one this one is dumb as hell and acts dumb. One slightly better character that is here is Riho and everybody else is just nope. Enjoyment as i said at the beginning it's…

Another OP MC isekai churned out, production line style, and one of the worst I have seen. O was unsure initially if it was purposely trying to be bad, to try and be funny, or writers were that stupid, but I am sure it is a bit of both. Our MC seemed retarded from where cut off from civilization, and where others from his clan have learned, he stays oblivious. It is not just a lack of intelligence, but a lack of common sense by him and Alka. Between the two, what may be funny for one or two episodes quickly grates. We have our generic characters, who are nothing special, with the typical harem theme which lets you know the story has very little to keep you watching, so some attractive girls will help. So just feels more trashy again. The plot is poor, on how the weakest kid in the vill…

When we read this title we already know that this anime won’t be a masterpiece. But still I thought I could get some ironic enjoyment from it, which I actually did the first six episodes. From that point it got significantly worse reaching a point where I didn’t really pay attention. The bad thing is that I didn’t miss out on the story because there is little to no story. The villains are just laughable and funnier than the actual comedy. The characters are bland with everyone wanting to smash the protagonist (even an old “grandma”). This is basically the only characteristic of the dozens of girls with one even falling in love with him so badly that she can be seen as a yandere. She is one of the characters I’ve hated the most in any anime. The Protagonist is just overpowered, innocent and…

This was a "by the numbers" anime if I have ever seen one. Lets get this started. The story is subpar. The MC comes from a village of super humans. Out of all of the people in his village, he is considered the weakest one. When he leaves his village to attempt to get stronger, he meets his harem of THOT's along the way in his journey to never have any real character development. In order to stand out from the rest of the anime, you have to give something that hasnt been seen before that will catch your viewers attention. The story completely failed to do any of that. It was a wash, rinse, repeat type of anime. This entire plot can be summed up with a simple, exasperated "meh." The art is okay I guess. I really dont pay too much attention to this. If the animation really POPS then I will…
