The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You

Introduction

Rentarou Aijou has it all: looks, intelligence, athletic skill, and popularity with peers and mentors alike. Unfortunately, none of these qualities help Rentarou with his love life. On the day of his middle school graduation, he is once again turned down by a girl he confesses to, earning his one-hundredth rejection in a row. Down on his luck, he goes to a matchmaking shrine and wishes to finally get a girlfriend in high school. When the god of the shrine suddenly appears before him, Rentarou is told he will meet an astronomical total of one hundred soulmates in high school. Though Rentarou initially does not take this foretelling seriously, his doubts disappear when, on the first day of school, he meets two of these soulmates—Hakari Hanazono and Karane Inda—who both confess to him. With fated encounters and love confessions galore, Rentarou's life is about to get a lot more exciting. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Warning: This program is rated T.Y.B.O (turn your brain off) for instances of gross misrepresentation of the concept of love, 2-dimensional girls with no sense of morals, a God of Matchmaking that really likes Castle in the Sky (because who doesn't!?), and a xenomorph masquerading as an assistant principle that escaped from the set of Alien. Likenesses to any person living or dead are clearly intentional for the sake of comedy. This show is intended for immature audiences. Please enjoy. Okay, in all seriousness, this isn't the worst show in the world. The title really says it all. A God of Matchmaking makes a mistake that results in our protagonist being blessed(?) with 100 soulmates instead of 1. So if he wants to avoid any of his soulmates living a life of misfortune and death without h…

Dookie Poo-Poo Ass ------------------------- I do wanna pretense this with a thing, I did indeed watch the dub. It is not the most heinous of slop, however, its exceedingly bad... Comedy did actually make me laugh at times though, it just has shit outta left field that happens to kick me in the funnies. Characters are as cookie-cutter as it gets, the writing... its wow.... Honestly it makes FS/N:UBW look incredible at times. Animation at times is absolutely fuckin incredible. I did greatly enjoy one thing, the 4th wall breaks. Like there are enjoyable things to find in this, but man, its really hard to look past... a lot of things. - If you have low standards for romcoms, yeah sure, why not? - But if ya don't, please god don't watch.

Humanity has spent centuries writing romance. Shakespeare gave us Romeo and Juliet. Jane Austen gave us Pride and Prejudice. And Japan looked at all of that and said "What if one guy dated one hundred girlfriends?" It sounds like the worst anime ever conceived a premise so catastrophically stupid it should've been buried in the bargain bin of history. Instead, this absolute fever dream somehow became one of the funniest, sweetest, and most brilliantly written rom-coms I've ever watched. I have no idea how they pulled this off, but we're going to talk about it. - STORY: A HAREM ANIME THAT DECIDED TO BREAK EVERY RULE The harem genre has always been built around one question: "Who is the protagonist going to choose?" For decades, this formula has remained almost untouched. One ordinary…

After binge watching season 1 and 2, the most I laughed in a long time. Every episode was amazing, the girls are interesting, distinct. I normally dislike harem, but this one strikes a perfect balance. Really like how they revisit characters and explore each of them in more depth. So far they are doing an amazing job with the anime. The story is unique even if it may be a little predictable, they do a good job of handling cliches. Art style was perfect, i'm not really an ecchi fan but I enjoyed watching the show because of how interesting was. IF they are able to maintain this pace and keep fully flushing out characters this will be one of the best rom-com animes. Gonna be like One Piece.

You would think from the title alone that this would be just another waste-of-time romcom like Nisekoi, Rent A Girlfriend, or My Little Monster. Yet in one of the most remarkable twists I've ever seen, it somehow isn't. Unlike your average harem slop romance, 100 Girlfriends has actual self-awareness, which means it doesn't waste the entirety of its runtime pretending to be a sophisticated romance and then failing to deliver. Instead it dives directly into romance more or less instantly and never loses sight of it — which is tragically rare for romance anime nowadays. 100 Girlfriends is a romance anime first and foremost, and it knows exactly how to be a REAL romance. The ML and FML(s) don't spend 12 episodes misunderstanding each other, being too spineless to do anything, or arbitrarily…

Honestly I usually really hate ROM com or romance... because it's always the same twist. Especially heavy on fan servicing or ecchi. But in this shows is really funny even the dirty jokes just hit the point. You all can check on my list I usually rated series like this just 5 why not 5 below because series like this usually have very good animation and also the character usually pretty boy and pretty girl. Also the credit not to make so low is to give the studio and the worker credit for their hard work and budget. Anyway this show is like if it's hit your point you laugh like hell but if it's didn't it didn't. But to have a 100 girlfriends he really love he must choose one otherwise they will face death I wonder how the ending go.

This Anime and Manga is probably the pinnacle in the Harem genre. I look at this genre as it exists in two axis; horny and heartfelt. This anime is definitely in the heartfelt side but being a parody of the genre itself it is, it does contain some ecchi and fan-service scenes. 100 Kanojo works because Rentarou is the greatest harem MC to exist and the reason he is the best is because he is earnest and completely committed to the women he adds to his polycule. Unlike other harem MCs, who are wishy washy with their commitment and love, often being interested in the next pair of tits and ass to show up in front of them, Rentarou loves his harem in their fullness from a place of love, not lust. So what you get in this anime is a truly well done blend of all the tropes of the harem genr…

Finally, the first anime that is officially approved by the Church of Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Just kidding, but for real, "The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You" is seriously one of the best harem romcoms ever made as it actually has a real harem and a heavy emphasis on both the rom (romance) and the com (comedy). While most harem anime are actually just about a guy who has a lot of women who like him, this show has the balls to have a main character who actually loves them back and makes them his girlfriend. While most romcoms will take 12 episodes just to have the possibility of one love confession with a kiss on the cheek while only having about 1-3 jokes per episode, this show looks directly into your eyes and tells you to "hold my vending machi…

100 Girlfriends is a parody harem in the same way Konosuba is a parody isekai. Both of them subvert their genre in principle, but remain earnest in their execution and love for the content that they are poking fun at. That means without a little soft spot for self-insert power fantasy isekai, you probably won't get all that much out of Konosuba. And, likewise, without a bit of honest love for trashy melodramatic soft-core harems, I couldn't recommend 100 Girlfriends. That said, anyone who has had fun dabbling in harem before should give 100 Girlfriends a fair shake. This show goes left when any other harem would go right. The protagonist rejects the concept of a slow burn one winner harem from episode one, then continues play with every harem trope it can get its hands on. Despite the sel…

First off, let's make one thing clear: This is the epithome of crack comedy, so if you analyze it through the same lens you'd do with any other anime or if you look for logic or verisimilitude, you lose. I think the point here to grant you an anime where the male lead goes through all possible romantic situations with every anime female character cliche you can imagine and, in the process, make you laugh from the absurdity of this very idea and the situations that could arise from such setting. On this matter, the show does deliver that. It's hilarious how the characters realize the INSANITY of what's happening and then turn around and go have lunch together like "you know what? this is fine". I laughed every episode, I thought the cookie-cutter characters were well used in terms of comedy…

Somehow this anime is very good 😭🙏. The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You is a trash harem anime but I really enjoyed watching this anime. Remove your brain then watching this make it a peak rom-com, the comedy make me laugh, the romance is pretty good tbh. The artstyle is too good for a trash anime like this, the animation is also very smooth (ofc it's smoother than OPM ss3). I didn't think that Hakari's mom would join the harem, too. And also Hakari thighs is way too big, I can not watch the anime without gooning, they should make these thighs bigger 🙏😭😭😭😭😭

So, I don't really get this one. Really. I watched a lot of other anime I could categorize as "slop" such as Vermeil in Gold, Quintessential Quintuplets, Plus-Sized Elf, Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four, and I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate but all of them had redeeming qualities to them, with either the premise being unique, being honest about it's nature, or just being really funny. But the comedy of this one just could not hit me, nor could the characters, "interesting premise" or anything else. The comedy seems to revolve around the plot holes, tropes and rather silly characters. But it's not actively criticizing them, making fun of, deconstructing or challenging them or anything like that, something that other anime like this with a lower rating on this we…

To be honest, "100 Girlfriends Who Really Really Love You" is probably the most CRINGE (in a good way) anime I've watched, and I watch a lot of crap. Well, I think it's a good parody. I mean, it's naturally a very funny and carbon monoxide parody of harems. But this does not negate the fact that when I watched it, I felt like I was seeing a film adaptation of various wet fantasies of a schoolboy with sperm poisoning.I literally had to take breaks every 10 minutes. Because of this, all the feelings got mixed up, and I was both swearing and freaking out from it as much as I had never done before. Of course, of course, this is not an ideal anime, but within its framework it performs tasks perfectly. So I'm making a short conclusion: this is a very good and funny parody, but it's a fairly a…

Absolutely the most the most the most the most great romantic comedy!!! This series attracts attention with its title, but it also hooks you to the screen with its plot and a very original wave of humor and funny situations (at least for me, the comedy side is really something new and almost always works here) - I laughed out loud. At first, I also really liked that even with the given romantic humor, the series manages to keep a certain limit (which in the end didn't quite work), but whatever, it's not like I want to complain... okay? The characters, story and comedy part work 100% (read one - I had to subscribe) and so I managed to watch the entire first season effectively in a few days. I love it 💖 - just like some other series and I'm looking forward to the next episodes, while hoping…

*MIGHT CONTAIN A LITTLE BIT OF SPOILERS, I APOLOGIZE* For a harem anime that's supposed to be a parody of the harem genre/trope in anime, this show was actually peak. I didn't expect to enjoy a show that much and this is coming from someone who never watched a harem anime in her life (Except OHSHC, but I didn't know that was even a harem anime to begin with.) The animation is peak, the designs are really cute and everything just flows together. Every single one of the characters are written really well and are iconic in their own right, Rentarou is literally the best boyfriend and best harem main (whoever disagrees with me is a liar and everyone knows it) and the girlfriends all break their stereotypes which make them even better than before. My only main issueis Hahari. I do not like H…

I held this anime for a considerable time but I didn't know it was so good, finally a harem where the protagonist is not vegan, a harem that is worth watching and without any fear, Rentaro is a respectable protagonist and an example for the beta protagonists of other animes 🤣, I feel that sometimes the attention was more to some than others but the good part is that none are left aside, a negative side is that the anime does not know how to create a sad dramatic atmosphere, it only managed to do that when Hakari almost went to meet her father but otherwise the anime is too good, great animation for the genre and it is a must for those who enjoy harem and romance

My experiences with this anime are not that very good since for a while I been not wanting to watcgh this anime since before I seen a lot of cli[s of gooner type sh$t and you may ask why did I watch it? because most people on my tikok videos were saying to watch it because it was "peak" and what I say after wacthing the whole season is very uncomfortable mosty because if your planning to watch this anime please for your socai life DONT WATCH THIS IN PUBLIC why you may ask? most of this anime is filed with fan service so I would say just watch this on your own if you have family or anyone who would see you as a werido if you are wacthing anything sus. but finally I would say this anime is pretty funny but the whole fan service and weird moments ruin this anime I won't say what they are for…

This was my first ever review on MAL, and I couldn't think of a better anime to start with. The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You is pure, unapologetic chaos—and I loved every second of it. Season 1 had me laughing out loud more times than I can count. Rentarou is an absolute madman of a protagonist, genuinely giving his all to each girlfriend like it’s the most natural thing in the world—and somehow, it works. The characters are insanely fun, the humor never misses, and the pacing keeps the energy high without ever feeling rushed. My favorite moment? When Rentarou introduces Shizuka to Karane and Hakari—and Shizuka, in her text-to-speech glory, calls Karane “Lady Karane,” and Karane just casually responds, “Yeah you can drop the lady part, just…

I Believe In Rentaro Family Supremacy A wonderful story that will be remembered through the ages, of a man who earnestly loved everyone of his girlfriend, and every last one of them when Went soft in the knees when he said his cheesy Love statements. Witness The Impossible journey of one man, juggling a hundred girlfriends, and if he can not satisfy them all he will kill himself on the spot. 100 girlfriends is chaotic fun to the ultimate extreme, it will find the weirdest plots and just do it. It's one of the funniest romance comedies, I have seen because it just goes all out, all the time. And anime reference out of the a**, it's out of control. It also looks good and and have really fun and energetic animation, very nice character design that looks very distinct between each woman so…

Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo is fine. As a harem anime, one cannot be too critical, because we should understand this is gutterball content, not meant to be serious, and meant to entertain our simple minds with the fantasy of having multiple women. The show does just that. For me personally, I feel a lack of connection between the characters. Yes, they really love each other, but at the same time, they love each other the same amount. This leaves me feeling like there is no character to cheer on, which IMO is part of what makes these types of shows good. Not once during the season, did I feel that 1 character had 1 up on another. This leaves the show in a weird spot for the viewer. I want to be cheering for someone, but the show doesn't allow for it. Instead of…
