The World God Only Knows: Goddesses

The World God Only Knows: Goddesses

Introduction

Having freed a myriad of women from the runaway spirits possessing their hearts, the "God of Conquest" Keima Katsuragi is confronted with a new task: find the Jupiter Sisters, the goddesses that sealed Old Hell in the past. Diana, the goddess that resides inside his childhood friend Tenri Ayukawa, explains that they have taken shelter in the hearts of the girls he had assisted previously. Moreover, once Diana and her sisters are reunited, their power can seal the runaway spirits away for good and relieve Keima of his exorcising duties. Though he is initially reluctant to get involved in yet another chore, everything changes when tragedy befalls one of the hosts. Discovering that the goddesses are being targeted by a mysterious organization known as Vintage, Keima is caught in a race against time to reunite the sisters and rescue the girl who has already fallen prey. With deeper resolve than ever before, Keima works together with demons Elsie and Haqua to recapture the hearts of the girls he had charmed in the past. However, the road ahead is a difficult one, as he is soon met with the consequences of his previous conquests. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai: Megami-hen. The third installment of the KamiNomi series. If you haven't watched seasons 1 & 2, make sure you check them out first. This review will contain info from this season Story - I came to this season expecting that it would be similar to the last season, wherein Keima continues to conquer more girls to capture the loose souls within them. But I was wrong, In Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai: Megami-hen, Keima is introduced to goddesses. After realizing that six of his previous conquests host a goddess within them, Keima now has to re-conquer all of them and figure out where the goddesses might be. Characters - Keima, in this season we can clearly see the character development of one person more than any other character in the show, and that of course is the pro…

Having not read the manga, this season throws you into a whiplash with multiple new characters you don't know, and the story takes a sudden shift from being a cheesy gimmick to being some super serious world-ending stuff that I have a feeling was NOT in the author's head at all when he conceived this series. This would normally be a problem, but this season is actually the best of them all, even on its own. This is because the story finds an excuse to banish Elsie's useless ass away, and she gets like 10 minutes of screen time the whole season. Haqua gets to act in her place, and Haqua is the best character in this series. In fact, this entire series would have been better if they just banished Elsie to off-screen land every season and made Haqua the main demon. But it's okay.

Look how they butchered my boy..... That is what i felt halfway through this third season. Of course, even the opening scene gave the feeling of a bad omen... Skipping over actually intresting conquests, after they showed some really bad heroines in the second.... The ovas only shed light on Tenri. Everybody else is manga only by the way. Honestly, this season feels like an abomination . Outside of the characters and some of the setting, this feels like an entirely new anime . A terrible one at that. I haven't seen a drop like this EVER in my life. The plot fell, the MC became an NPC version of himself...... The animation stayed about the same, no worries in that departament. And outside of the MC the other characters didn't really change.Shiori is still at the top of the waifu food chain…

A really good anime, I think it's one of the best harem anime I've ever seen. The development of the protagonist and the heroines of the work are very well done. The ending of the third season is very sad. This anime really deserves a 4th season. It's a shame that today Day Harem Animes Aren't As Good As This Overall An Excellent Anime A Good Story And An Ending Full Of Emotions That Leaves You Curious To Know How The Story Continues If You're Looking For A Good Harem Anime I Highly Recommend This One There Are Not Many Good Stories Like this and I recommend that you read the manga from the second season to the third which leaves a lot of people confused because they cut a lot of things in this part which leaves a lot of people lost who are just starting the third season.

The first two seasons were good in my opinion and I enjoyed them alot then when I got to this one it started making no sense all of of sudden they added some of the bad gods in them or something and it was confusing I tired looking around as to the reason or if I missed a an episode the only other thing was an ova that helped somewhat but not really there some people who had said it was better explained in the manga, the first thing I thought did not make sense was how suddenly everyone started remembering who he was and that it was because there had been gods locked in them or that they were possessed and that he needed to marry one of them I honestly I had no idea where all these were coming from it someone could explain it better that would help them they suddenly added his childhood fr…

Actually 5 years ago I finished watching 3 seasons, but I still want to give a review for this series. I started to miss harem anime like this, because I feel after 2020, harem anime has lost its quality. weightless story, unclear story objectives, poor character development, lack of character motivation, in the end just a place to add to a colorful waifu collection. If you are new to watching anime, especially the harem genre, you have to look back, especially the ones that were released before 2015. I don't want to lie, "The World God Only Knows" is one of the quality harem anime. That number doesn't lie, this anime deserves a good score. In-depth story, good character development, the identity of each character is clear, the music is pleasant to hear, and of course comfortable to wat…

As usual I am at odds with the majority opinion on this site. I did enjoy the first two seasons of Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai, which were mostly comedy and satire. I haven't read the manga, so this is purely from the observations of someone who watched the anime: Season 3 begins by introducing a bunch of characters who were conquered off screen by Keima Katsuragi. They all apparently have their own stories in the manga, but we get them as flashbacks in the anime. And it basically continues like that through the season. References to things that never happened in the previous shows, but only have backstories in the manga. Even at the very end, a completely new character pops up that Keima Katsuragi knows by name, but who no one who never read the manga will know who is. Elsie - who is a…

the whore that good anime. I thought it was going to be shit stuck on a stick but I was surprised, it is a harem with meaning. The protagonist is a machine, he sucks an egg so I want to do what I want; and I can not na na very good. How the anime progresses is spectacular, really, I really love how the story progresses. You realize that the protagonist seriously feels something for each girl, he wants to help them but at the same time that means making them fall in love. The last season buenarda na Na. My favorite girl is the karate girl, in the end the protagonist stays with the one who fell in love with him without regaining her memory. According to what I saw in the comments that happens in the manga. I'm satisfied it deserves it. Anime cute, how ugly I don't know what else to say En e…

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai Megami-hen The World God Only Knows: Goddesses Arc In terms of quality, not much has changed in the end - it stayed like all its predecessors. Which also made the scenes a bit monotonous. It's interesting to note, however, that the plot finally got rolling. To my disadvantage, I also read the end of the manga as a comparison. Unfortunately, the anime adaptation has drifted off and doesn't have the same ending. The manga version was actually more interesting and bigger in scope. It looked pretty weak in the anime. More or less like a simple comedy ending. That said, this season was still entertaining and I didn't get overly bored. After the show is over, I wouldn't say I will ever watch it again. Only because of the monotonous and repetitive episodes. Story I…

Before watching this sequel i must advice the you first watch the 2 different OVAs of the series as they are canon and may affect your relationship with this sequel. The show has taken us to a high speed elevator that will always bring us upwards but ends without us knowing. Truly a magnificent Sequel and an end to a long short journey. The end is well deserved as Keima, the God of Conquest understands that real life isn't just a game after all. As Keima approaches the "end" of His Adventure-like conquest, tons of events are also blocking his path both Enjoyable events and ones that you can just feel the anxiousness. The comedic value of the anime is still there while it being so intense you can't just help getting yourself in a serious-like posture. The multiple songs used doesn't…

Kami nomi zo shiru sekai has been a anime I've liked ever from its first season.. it got some strong characters, and among them being Katsuragi Keima, the main male lead.. However unlike some other animes whereas the new seasons only look pale and imprefect as opposed to their earlier seasons.. Kaminomi is the exception.. I will be writing a spoilerless review about the anime Kami nomi zo shiru Sekai III... Keima is sick and tired of always doing conquests on real life girls, he wants to have nothing to do with them, he's made it clear ever since he began working with the demon Elsie.. He wants to end the conquests as soon as possible so he can get back to being the ''God of Games'' in which he hasn't gotten that much time to do after Elsie entered his life out of nowhere.. However, thing…

The third and final season for The World God Only Knows. This series has been... GREAT! Story: While season 1 was good with its story, season 2 was better. And yet, season 3 is even greater! Season 3 expanded even further into this show's world, introducing us to many more characters such as Ancient Demons and Goddesses. Keima's mission has gotten a lot more complicated! Art: No significant improvement, which isn't bad at all, considering this show's art is very good as it is. Sound: Same as above, improvements weren't needed. Characters: Yet again, the characters have improved drastically. Somewhat of a shame that there are good characters that aren't given as much limelight as before... But on the other hand, we do get a lot more focus on some of the characters that we love very much…

I love this anime still. But it's by far my least like season of the 3. To start from the start i'll say the biggest problem with this for me . How much this deviates a ton from the previous two seasons. Where those two were about the MC going around and getting girls to fall in love with him with funny scenarios. This season doesn't do that and decides to have one continues plot that last throughout the season. The plot itself could have been interesting but it's just eh at best for me. I like the idea of him having to go back and make the girls he's already had fallen in love with him fall in love with him again. But it's badly done in this. The story also decides not to have him conqueor any girl at all and that is something i just don't like. Especially sense it's part of the iden…

I really liked the storyline and the girls in the anime fell in love with the MC for a good reason, unlike other harem anime where the girls simply fall in love for no particular amazing reason. However, the one thing I felt could be better was that the ending was rather forced. I still like the anime but the ending could have been left a bit more to the imagination of the viewers, allowing anyone to ship whoever they like. (Of course, there would probably be people who like the ending given.) In the end, it is not that I hate the Chihiro x Keima ship but the other female characters were pretty much discarded after their conquest, though their conquest stories were nice too. Also, I would like to state that Chihiro wasn't given a major role at the beginning; she was just another conquest t…

I'm going to assume if you're reading this review, you've already watched the first two season or you're looking at the overall ratings for all three seasons. If you're here for the latter, you've probably read too far. My Overall Score for this anime is in the top right, geez! I came into the season expecting nothing but the whole "otaku girl conquerer" premise. Fortunately, there was more to the story this season than just Katsuragi. I enjoyed the introduction of the goddesses as well as actual antagonists rather than just "spooky" loose spirits. Also, it's important to note that a bunch of stuff happens between season 2 and season 3. This stuff is covered in the manga apparently, but not in the anime, so don't worry if the first episode is kind of confusing. The art is fair and the so…

Should you watch The World God Only Knows Megami-hen? Definitely, this season of the TWGOK series is hands down the best for me. Up until this point in the story, all of the conquests that have been completed by Keima had not converged on any point, they had all been their own separate stories that did not interact with each over, but with this adaptation of the manga, many of them are brought together. Out of all of the seasons too this point, this one sticks with me the most. Story: 9 The premise for Megami-hen is that goddesses had been shipped in the same packages of the loose souls, with only a few of the previous girls hosting them. Previously, after being con-quested by Keima, the girls would completely forget the conquest, with some abnormalities here and there. With the introduct…

First and foremost, this anime is a lot of fun. I actually decided to watch it because I am a big fan of Hayami Saori (seiyuu) and so after listening to one of her songs from this series, I decided to give it a shot. As a side note, her co main from Teen Romantic Comedy (Touyama Nao) is also in this series. Anyway from that basis I came to the series with no idea what to expect having not read the manga either. To summarise the story, The World God Only Knows (TWGOK) is a series about a gamer who excels at dating sims. He is conscripted to then capture 'loose spirits' who reside in the hollow hearts of various girls which he must then get to fall in love with him to free them. He is assigned an assistant 'demon' who shares the same mission. This leads to encounters with various girls who…

An average anime that looks like a work of art. Routes games and kisses? Perfect! The construction of characters, especially Keima, is really amazing. An anti-social character, he becomes a god to the characters around him. Each episode depicts how evolution character happens at different times. The fights may be through tedious, but forget the struggles with the beautiful music backgrounds. Musical backgrounds? We should call the work of musical arts. The Oratorio of The World God Only Knows leaves his very gentle soul. The character design is also good. The traits are not that thing "Ufotable" but leave the well fluid and light scenes. Anyway, the anime deserves note 9, in my opinion. If there was a next season, I would watch for sure! And would recommend to friends!
