Instead of focusing on a singular pair and their dynamic, it instead splits each episode into 4 smaller parts that focus on individual pairs. Its definitely a unique spin, and for myself, that makes the show stand out amongst other shows in the same genre. Each couple doesn't appear in each episode which helps to keep it fresh and not get boring; however this does mean that some episodes may be less interesting if a viewer prefers certain pairings over others. The show itself, leans more towards a comedic feel but that does not take away from the romance. Its lighthearted and full of misunderstandings that, I find, help to make each character and their pairing feels more organic to what you might expect young romance to look like. This also means the show is full of awkward scenes as well…

It's a shame there won't be another season, it's incredible what Tsurezure Children achieves with episodes 12 min long. Really funny characters, they are steryotypes of anime romcoms, but at the same time they would benefit of a 24 min runtime. The art style was also fluid for what was proposed, adding a lot on comedic value on some scenes, and since it is a romcom I haven't felt the need to a higher level of details, in the end the animation was fairly faithful to the manga. Tsurezure Children reminded me of Kaguya-sama: Love is War (the setting, archetypes, comedy and shorter story style that leads to a bigger picture, their development), so, if you liked Kaguya, give this a shot! Since there won't be another season I'll be catching up to the manga, by any means I thought it was perfec…

If I had to describe this in one word, it's McDonalds. It's not healthy. It tastes only fine. However, you didn't invest much and you just got some chemicals that you need. Putting a romance setting as a highschool is pretty generic so that already is a bad start. Tsurezure Children tries to be different where instead of telling one generic story, it tells around 6 generic stories and skips the usual filler. The upside is skipping the filler, the downside is that 6 generic stories told at once are still as generic. The show seems very focused on trying to induce the "fuzzy cringe" feeling you're supposed to get from watching a romance show. It's hard to put this into words, but it feels like everything you see is a variant of *twiddling thumbs* "What if we kissed during Morbius premiere"…

Where do I even start? This anime is like a breath of fresh air, folks! It's like a gentle breeze on a summer day that reminds you of the beauty of first love and high school romance. What sets Tsurezure Children apart is its unconventional approach to storytelling. There's no single main character to root for; instead, we get a diverse cast of lovable misfits, each with their own unique struggles and triumphs. It's like a slice-of-life anthology, where every episode is a new chance to fall in love with a different couple. I loved how the anime explored different personality types - introverts, extroverts, ambiverts - and how they navigate love in their own ways. It's like the show is saying, "Hey, you don't have to be a certain way to find love." And that's beautiful, man! The first lo…

Fun romantic comedy that focuses on "The Moments" in a romantic comedy, especially in the comedy aspect. It avoids showing character development or their relationships through daily life. This anime assumes that you have already seen school romances in anime and can afford to skip all the repetitive fluff. And everything is perfectly understood. Rather than episodes, it follows a system of short sketches through which we follow the story of a handful of characters in a school. All the characters are clichés, so we recognize them immediately without needing to see them too much. The scenes are usually funny, with simple and direct humor. Brief, direct, and truly entertaining for what it is. Far from being a comedy masterpiece, but it doesn't waste your time pretending to develop something…

I watched Tsurezure Children, also known as Tsuredure Children. Here are my thoughts: These are ~12-minute episodes that consist of generic highschool romance skits between various student pairings. The characterization of these students is shallow and tropey. I found the dialogue in this to be very clunky and unnatural. The romance feels quite inorganic and hamfisted, and overall simply not emotionally engaging. The script is seriously awful and a crippling flaw from my perspective; it feels so unnatural it's uncomfortable at times just having to listen to it. The characters have simplistic same-face designs, and the animation quality is unremarkable. The voice acting is okay but that doesn't mean much when it's wasted on such a clumsy unnatural script. If you can tolerate its flaws,…

If you got 'Nichijou' and made it all about Romance, you'd get this show - which is mostly a good thing. But, this shows best aspect is also it's biggest downfall. It's set up as a bunch of little 5 minute scenes surrounding couples at the begining of their relationships. The Good: Its funny, fast paced, essentially the 'best-of' aspects of a normal rom-com. It's snappy and to the point, no "will they won't they" which usually kills a lot of shows for me. And if you're not liking a scene it'll be over in 3mins they're so snappy. Majority of the stories I enjoyed (probably about %80). The Bad: When the stories are so short, it doesn't leave much room for any growth or development. It's like showing you the first 5min of a really good movie. You're just like "Yeah...and then what happens??…

Tsurezure Children is a series of short 3-4 minute segments featuring about 10 or so couples. Funnily enough, I started watching the anime after watching a few of the clips on Tiktok. That's how I would describe this anime. It's like those Youtube videos that pop up in your recommended regarding anime or some tv series like Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen or sports highlights. A main reason why I will rate Tsurezure Children so high comes down to presentation and delivery. I am impressed with the ease in which I watched the 12 episodes. I am a big fan of the pacing. That is without a doubt the number one attraction to this series. Each episode reaches about 12-14 minutes in length, half of a typical episode. Consequently, the entire series is about the length of 6 or so traditional episod…

Tsurezure children is a wholesome anime that shows various pairs of high schoolers trying to navigate love. One unique part is there is no main character and every episode is divided into 3 or 4 parts to give every pair some screen time. This does decrease the amount of character development everyone has but the little screen time given still makes for a great experience. Some people might not like this aspect of the anime but I think this is what makes the anime great. Love can blossom in different ways in different people and this anime illustrates that. I definitely recommend this anime to people who just want to turn their brains off and watch a wholesome anime

Very cute and wholesome, you really get into the mind of overthinkers in relationships lol. Story is really unique considering couples actually get together and such. (a rare sight) You really should watch this if you're having a bad day and need a good laugh or with your partner just so you can say "looks that's you overthinking". There were only 2 pairs that kinda seemed similar but otherwise everyone is really unique and cute! I thoroughly enjoyed this through out all though there is no real solid plot and just a compilation somewhat it is really light and sweet and can easily be finished in a day.

Tsurezure Children is a delightful, refreshing little SoL, with a well-distributed sprinkling of comedy, mild tension, and romance. Beginning with the story, the viewer is presented with a complex web of simple little love stories, each mostly contained in their own little world with some overlap. They each have their own problems and peculiarities, many of which are relatable, even if the stakes really aren't that high most of the time. Things progress in their own way over each minuscule episode, resulting in a series of small investments over time, giving each story its own sense of weight. The art is simple and clean, but regardless pleasing to the eye and effective at ensuring the large cast remains distinct from each other and visually engaging overall. The sound is similar in this…

All in all, I really loved the anime. It's a 10/10 for me. One of the best romance animes I have ever watched in my entire life. This anime touched my soul. Really, saying "I love you" is one of the hardest things to say and express. Expressing your love for someone can be stressful at times but still, it can't helped. You just wanna let that person know how much you care for them. All the couples in this anime had their own troubles and they had to find possible ways of conquering it. Honestly, I wish my high school life was like this. The manga has 212 chapters and not all the chapters have been adapted yet. I do not want to read the manga. It's more fun, enticing heart felt watching it. So please, I am pleading with the producers of Tsurezure Children to please adapt the remaining chapt…

Tsurezure Children is a quirky short length romantic comedy with genuinely well executed dialogue. While most romcoms you find will have that sort of "buildup" element where things only really become official towards the end of the series, Tsurezure Children break tradition by giving us not just a dating couple, but many dating couples. The only thing I would've liked out of this show is to see these the different couples have some interactions between each other. What makes the show stand out is some of the dialogue is genuinely really funny and interesting. You get almost every color of the rainbow when it comes to personalities and dynamics. While I would give this show closer to a 7/10, comparing it to some of the other Romcoms I have watched, it stands out to me for being unique, s…

Tsurezure Children is a great series for improving your mood or watching something light. The whole series consists of short 12 minutes of episodes presenting the everyday life of high school students. We are introduced to different couples who get close to each other in different ways. There are often simple misunderstandings between couples that are presented in a funny way. At the same time, however, the development of couples is presented in a very realistic way. Characters have worries about their relationship and try to resolve them by talking to their partners. We are presented with very different characters and different dynamics of couples.

Tsuredure Children is such a strange show to evaluate because of the mass amount of characters. But does quantity trump quality here? Story & Characters: Tsuredure Children takes place mostly at a high school where characters mainly interact with the ones they have a crush on. After all, what's more magical in high school than chasing after the person you admire the most? The problem with the story is the structure though. This series has episodes that only run for twelve minutes a piece, with twelve episodes total. What's more, there are over a dozen characters with roughly the same screen time. Hear me out: Many of our characters actually have pretty magical moments during the course of this series. They all go about their own way of discovering what love is, between starting and stopp…

Confessions the anime. Tsurezure Children is a brilliant comedy-romance with an ensemble cast of unique and vibrant characters. Every episode comes in at about 12 minutes so if you are considering watching the series, you should go for it. The artwork is pretty standard and nothing super special though the character designs were very distinct from one another, and it helps to visually show the viewer the different stories and personalities of the characters. There were two characters in the show who looked very similar, but their personalities are so different that it's very easy to tell them apart. I like that this anime has multiple couples so you can cheer on the ones you like and suffer through the short amount of time you share with couples you dislike. Personally, I liked all the…

This was an anime that I saw recommended on instagram, and to my surprise it was a very good anime, it managed to convey almost perfectly the naturalness and passion of each couple, even though there are many. Well, unfortunately at the time I'm writing this review, we haven't had a second season, which is sad because he deserves it.

We follow several couples in this anime. Despite his short duration, it develop well each pair of characters, and we easily like them and want to see them more ! The fact that we follow several pair at the same time is really great ! This anime show the complexity of being in love, always thinking of something in your head, and the other person think something else, and sometimes, it makes situation hard when they can be so easy ! There is a good diversity of couple, some get together easily, some others have to face some challenge, but, they almost all find their own ways to get together and to express themselves and that's great ! It also show some great character develpment despite the short duration, showing that love can make us be better !

This review will have mild spoilers, including a mild spoiler for "Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai" (We Never Learn: BOKUBEN) and "Jitsu wa Watashi wa" (Actually, I am...) where I compare those shows and this one, "Tsurezure Children" (Tsuredure Children). TLDR; I really enjoyed this show. This show came on my radar months before I actually gave it a chance; however, due to the short nature of the show and episodes, as well as the fact that I knew the show didn't pick a single main couple to follow, I didn't start it until now. Boy, do I wish I had watched it earlier. Since I watched my first romance anime, I've been drawn to them. I realize that they are usually not realistic, but usually there are themes that I can trace back to my own romantic life. However, the rom-com genre is somet…

This was a sort of stressful anime to get through, but glad I saw it through to the end. I had already watched numerous episodes before and put it aside. I then watched half of it with a friend and then put it down again. But this time. I thought I will watch the lot and I’m glad I did. This anime reminds me a lot of the movie Love Actually. Love Actually is about love. All kinds of love. Love rejected, unrequited love, obsession, everlasting etc… So, this reminds me a lot of the same. Which isn’t a bad thing. I love these types of anime. Though I tend to read a lot more manga like this. Music wasn’t a major thing that stood out to me. I don’t even remember the opening from heart. The animation was lovely though. A-1 always give it their best. I think that the length of the episodes was…
