Well, I tried to keep my expectations in check, but this anime kept shattering them with every single episode.
Going in with just the trailer to base my expectations on, the first two episodes actually got me pretty hooked. The concept felt fairly unique with its flower-themed premise. However, it ended up being a huge letdown from there on out. The show barely made any effort to actually explore its floral world, and while the OP got me hyped at first, I was left thoroughly disappointed in the end.
The premise itself was quite unique in my opinion. I haven't read the source material, but judging purely by the anime, the narrative felt way too rushed and crammed. I’m not sure if the story is fully wrapped up or not, but I'll just treat it as a finished series for now.
Now that it's over…

This was a slop fest, the amount of unnecessary drama, arguments and set backs are insane, everyone is backstabbing, all got anger issues, and they are resort to either being rude, aggressive, inconsiderate or straight stupid whenever i slight inconvenience arises. 1 episode they all love eachother, then 5 minutes later they arent friends anymore and never want to talk to eachother again. Slop slop slop slop slop. Dont watch this unless you want to feel otherworldly anger and frustration.
Story was mediocre, especially considering the main aspect of the story being set back literally every episode which meant it leads absolutely nowhere in the end.
Art style was fine, nothing special, characters were okay until a minor issue presented itself then they all started leaking brain matter out…

Peak Fiction, this shit was generational. Himari is the greatest of all time, if you dont love her,you dont love waifus. She has the most personality outta everyone in the show, I can't help but smile when I see her, from her goofy faces, funny jokes or snarky attitude to her outgoing personality, its quite entertaining to watch her. You can't put her in the box like many anime heroines, she not simply a kuudere or tsundere, shes Himari. She's not perfect she's not a cookie cutter waifu who always know the right thing to do, She doesnt always have the right response, But that what make her human. She may overreact sometimes, but she's able to admit when she wrong and tries to deal with situations the best she can. Thats why I admire and why she such a great waifu.
I know this is more a hi…

This anime depicts romance in the most weird way possible. The interactions between characters don’t feel natural and rather twisted. One of the major flaws in the anime is the mc and the heroine. They have a brief moment where they could grow as a character but immediately revert right back and this is a cycle that lasts right until the last episode.
The subplots are completely random that don’t connect with the main story very well. All the buildup of an important plot point only to be dismissed in one episode quickly and then moving onto the next plot. The supporting characters just “exist” and conveniently appear to cause problem or randomly solve something. The animation and soundtrack are the only redeeming qualities.
I am heavily disappointed, because this anime set an interesti…

A very cute anime that will melt a lot of hearts, especially if you like slice of life/love animes.
Yuu and Himari met as a child, and their dream is to open an accessory store together. They also have a pledge to get married if they're still single by 30. But slowly, they can't help but fall in love with each other.
The premise is simple, but what really carries the show is HIMARI. What an adorable pundle of joy! Every time she's on screen, she steals the show. I think the main reason is her VA. It's like, this cute nasally voice that is unique and you can't help but love her. Himari's character is also the main catalyst of the show- as she is Yuu's motivation. That said, Himari's actions are not perfect, which is why I do like her. She's realistic- in a way. She gets jealous. She gets…

Honestly when this anime first came out I told myself I would not watch it week by week. I wanted to wait till it was done and then watch it all in one go. Best decision ever. Because once I started I just could not stop. It completely pulled me in and left me emotionally drained in the best way possible.
From the very first episode it felt like something different. The chemistry between the characters, the small realistic moments, the way emotions build up slowly. Himari with her soft blue hair and that adorable smile just lights up the screen every time. There is something about her energy that makes every scene warm and alive. Yuu on the other hand is that kind of guy who actually feels human. He works hard, he gets tired, he doubts himself but still tries again. Watching his journey f…

I don't get the hate centered around this Anime. Whether it be those who dislike it for its toxicity or for its plot holes, many people disliked this one. In my opinion, I thoroughly enjoyed the story centered around the duo. I found it cute and quite reflective of Asian relationships.
Main text:
Now, why did I rate this as a Mixed Feelings: the premise, the plot of this story is not made for everyone. This story shows how relationships between asians, east asians in particular, are built. Of course, everyone will develop their relationships by themselves, as it is rude to stereotypically identify a race. This anime shows competition between childhood friends and newer, gentler friends; it also shows the decisiveness and complex decisions between two teenagers. If you don't get t…

I don't have much to say about this anime, and that pretty much sums up my experience with it. It's a romantic comedy that does the basics of the genre - and that's about it. It's not a bad proposition, but it doesn't offer anything really remarkable or memorable either.
Technically, the anime is competent. The artwork is pleasant, the soundtrack does its job well and the setting is comfortable to follow. The female protagonist stands out for having personality, charisma and a more active presence in the narrative. In contrast, the male protagonist ends up being rather bland, with little development and almost no evolution throughout the story, which greatly weakens the couple dynamic.
One positive point is the approach to the hobby of flower shopping and making handmade accessories, whi…

The only reason I didn't rate this 4 stars is that it had a really good, strong start in the first three episodes. After that, it just went downhill from there. Everything was contrived. The drama appeared out of nowhere based on nothing that could have easily all been argued away. The male lead started as a strong, decent guy, but then, for some reason, became the biggest wimp By Episode 4. This entire show misses one key point in storytelling: the beats should read like, this happens, therefore this happens, because this happens, therefore this happens. Instead, we get this happens, then this happens, then this happens, then this happens. The basics of writing were clearly lacking in this writer's education, and it shows in the writing and story beats. I don't think this author had an id…

Man, out of a fair amount of romantic comedies that I have seen, this is honestly one of the most dull, boring, dry, and infuriating at times anime of all times. Wanna know a funny story? I actually came across this from my recommendation feed, and this was on a thumbnail of a YouTuber who says something about this. I'd looked up this anime, and this looked accurate for anyone who've watched it. Plus, it's weird how MyAnimeList has a lot more mixed than how you see the scores of at Crunchyroll shows. Now, the title itself is already bad enough as it would feel like a gender-neutral kind of show that talks more about romance and friendship relationships. It would've been more accurate if that were to be the case if it weren't for the characters, unfortunately.
The story centers around Yu Na…

Can a Boy-Girl Friendship survive? starts off as a run of the mill tsundere romcom with a loud female lead and a passionate boy who enjoys making jewellery, and that was great especially their relationship but it swiftly devolves into a nonsensical clusterfuck with manipulation, forced drama, abhorrent characters, abuse, neglect & romantic regression.
Basically the entire show & romance is set in stone with no progression by I believe episode 3 and then it's dragged along by a car (the MC's male friend & some random chick) on a poorly made road tearing away what was entertaining until completion.
There isn't a love triangle & it's obvious from the first episode. Rion is grossly irrelevant with little urgency to her appearance for both us the viewer and the characters themselves. She only…

I honestly don't get the hate, I got back into anime after like 2 years just to see that ppl don't like this and honestly Idk why, like I get that they drag on and on and on how they're best friends but I kinda liked it and I just wanted a good story of 2 friends becoming something more to be something that would get me back into anime, mmc has his own dumb shit that no one gets, and it's something new that I haven't seen so far so I liked it diff in that way, as for the fmc she's just by his side 24/7 and she's realizing that she wants more, and after all the rollercoaster of emotions they end up (kinda) together, obviously still having they're 2 friends jumping in they're business and all that, so I liked the story and all, it wasn't too cheesey (which, me personally, idk if I like...😭)…

It could be an interesting romcom, where finally blue girl childhood friends win, and there were those real good moments, but for some reason I felt it was so rushed, and as if some things were incompletely written, and sometimes they happened so randomly that I couldn't follow and I didn't understand how something happened that turned into dramas...
.... and the animation is no more than mid-quality!
I rate it between 6-7! but... a little disappointing at the same time! I didn't expect this... tbh.
So, all my hope remains for Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines, where they finally give justice to blue girl girls after many years of suffering! The quality there is great, the characters are lovable, and the story is much better!
However, with this story, I'll give the manga a chance, in c…

It's rare that I see a show fumble it's own premise so bad that it feels like false advertising.
Despite the show marketing itself as such, this is not a love triangle show. This is a show that features a love triangle for all of about 15 minutes and abandons it's loser so hard, it has to outsource the rest of it's drama to it's lame supporting cast who all circle the main character like he's the most important man in the world.
I love a messy romcom, don't get me wrong, but there's just nothing here that isn't executed poorly. It wants to act like it has genuine things to say about falling in love with your best friend and the childhood friend romance trope, but honestly it's got absolutely nothing.
Himari gets a lot of flak for being annoying, which is not undeserved, but I had hope t…

Alright… here we go.
I’ll keep it short — especially for the impatient ones: if you’re watching just for the romance, go ahead. It’s worth it. But just know that there’s a lot of wasted potential. Still, the ending is satisfying.
That said, let’s cover the basics:
Animation: 7 – Compared to other anime in this genre, it’s above average. Way better than many stiff, lifeless shows out there.
Soundtrack: 7 – Pleasant and does the job. Romance: 8 – I like it. Could’ve been much better, but I like it.
Comedy: 7 – Standard stuff for the genre, but it works.
Story: 7.5 – Had a lot of potential, but they played it too safe.
Characters: 7 – Hibari is a solid 10. I love that guy, made me laugh a lot.
Now, like Jack the Ripper said: let’s go by parts.
Positives:
The romance…

I'm here to balance out all the negative reviews. I honestly think this anime deserves more credit than it's getting. The plot is genuinely entertaining and easy to follow, as it never feels slow or boring. Himari’s expressions and laughter are absolutely irresistible, and the supporting characters, like Shinji and Hibari, add real value and give the story an extra layer of depth.
Sure, the romance could have been handled better. Enomoto’s character doesn’t develop at all, which I understand is a fair reason for some of the criticism. But for me, it’s not enough to justify all the negativity.
Give it a watch!

I was bored. Its made for those around 15 year old I think. I wonder how they will feel. Will they also be bored? For me story, characters, art and animation... everything felt mediocre. Why was I bored? Did the author try to portray a realistic relationship scenario? And that made it boring as it did not translate well into anime. Maybe he/she succeeded to some extent but I just couldn't be invested and I didn't root for any of the relationships. But if I were to root for the girl Natsume would end up with I would choose for him to end up with Rin, who is the third character, and not the blue short-haired character that is shown in this poster. Its just I found Himari, the blue haired girl and the best friend a bit unlikable. Maybe if this was a live action Tv series it would have been be…

Can a Boy and Girl Relationship Survive? On the whole is not a bad anime, which surprises me when you see a lot of reviews that do not recommend it. It is a pretty generic rom-com with its own quirks, like most other rom-coms.
Going in order, the negatives or dislikes that I do have for this anime would probably be the pacing being off. Sometimes you are given a lot of information and you get lost trying to piece it together to get the idea. The next thing would be the generic MC, although it is the same MC in every rom-com with a bit of quirks and differences, I couldn't really see that in Yu. His hobby of making flower accessories and his passion for flowers make him stand out, but nothing more than that. Finally, at times the relationship between Himari and Yu can be quite annoying, b…

This anime actually has pretty good visuals, music, and other aspects. The story's premise is also quite interesting, but after trying to watch it, I found myself constantly annoyed by the characters' personalities. Maybe if you're into tsundere girls in a big way, this anime would be great for you. However, if you're like me and don't really like tsundere girls, I absolutely do not recommend it.
Throughout the entire season, I was consistently annoyed by the characters' personalities and actions. If their personalities had been more likable, it would have been a really good anime, considering I liked the premise. So, in my opinion, if you like a straightforward romance anime, I wouldn't recommend this one. Of course, it ends well, but the process is so drawn out and frustrating. However,…
