Absolute cinema from start to finish would totally recommend
The story is unqiue in its way i liked how the romance was built up towards the end
The art style is really great i like it it suits this anime fs
The characters were well developed honestly especially the student council
I did find the characters react to a few situations and events in a non realistic way tho but that was fine bc its anime
Im really sure others would enjoy this anime. Ive watched countless romance anime and id put this top 2 thats for sure
Ill recommend this a 100/10

Is love just two people having feelings for each other and spending time together? Is love just a sexual urge? If you’re asking these questions, you’re wrong. Because in this anime, love is a WAR.
Man, this anime is the fucking GOAT. Want to watch a romantic comedy? Give it a shot—trust me, you won’t regret it.
The characters are really funny, the theme is original and beautiful—you won’t regret watching it; in fact, it’ll most likely become one of your favorites.
Setting my biased opinions aside, *Kaguya-sama: Love is War* is an anime that truly lives up to its genre tags. The mind games Shirogane and Kaguya play to make each other confess their love, Fujiwara’s cheating during board games, and the time spent together on the Student Council… The realities of social life and certain phen…

This season was definitely better than the first, but I don't think it was better than the second one. The animation style remained roughly the same while the pacing, at least to me, felt a bit slower. There were certainly some high highs, but also some low lows, and I ended up grading it as a 7.
I do have to say, the final episode was really fun. The buildup of the series felt worth it and I didn't have any issues with it. I think my complaints lie on the characterization of Kaguya. Shirogane says he fell for her for being pure and kind-hearted, but the series constantly shows her sincerely being the opposite - she even admits to it at the ending! I just hope they get to know each other deeply before the series concludes and those things aren't treated as gags or jokes.
Also, a shame th…

The ultimate romantic declaration.
The third season of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War not only continues the story but elevates everything to the maximum: emotion, comedy, and, above all, the romance that has been building since the beginning.
The premise remains the same: the psychological "war" between Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane to make the other confess first. But here, this dynamic ceases to be just a game of pride and begins to show its real emotional consequences. What was once almost a strategic game transforms into something much deeper.
And that's precisely what makes this season so special. You feel the weight of what is being built. It's not just "who will confess first," but why it's so difficult for them. Pride, fear of rejection, insecurities—everything comes to the s…

1. Repetitive Narrative Structure
The series relies heavily on a stereotypical episodic loop:
Initiation: a simple social interaction
Escalation: internal overanalysis
Resolution: a character "wins" psychologically This structure is reused in many episodes with little variation. From a storytelling perspective, this represents a glaring lack of narrative diversity compared to series with evolving story arcs.
2. Limited Narrative Progression (Early Seasons)
For much of the anime:
The main relationship doesn't develop significantly.
Major emotional developments are delayed.
This can objectively be described as narrative slowness, especially compared to other romantic comedies where important relationship milestones occur earlier.
3. Explanatory Overkill
The narrator plays a dominan…

BEST ROMCOM ANIME OF ALL TIME!!!!!!
10/10 Build up to that balloon scene! I didn't even notice the "persona" themed puzzle was shirogane's doing (or i was dumb af).
It might get a little boring in the middle of this arc but trust me 100% that peak is waiting for you.
10/10 storytelling from the narrator too (on par with hxh narrator). Everything that has been built for this arc is just perfect.....
Not to mention the ICONIC kaguya opening by the glasses guy Masayuki Suzuki that never disappoints. Animation for this season is also good for a "romance" anime.
spoiler alert
it went downhill after this season

I don’t give 10/10s lightly, this is an actual perfect season. It’s by far the funniest the series has ever been, and the festival arc is my favorite including manga-only arcs.
This is where I feel Love Is War truly becomes a romance anime, with the development of different relationships being the focus here. This season feels like a payoff to everything that had happened previously, and almost singlehandedly is what made me love this series so much.
Just on a side note, read the manga after S3 if you want to continue the story, the adaptation gets really bad after this.

Frankly, I expected more. The second season surpassed its prequel, so I expected an upward tendency in terms of writing. The focus of this season is what I think made it less appealing to me. In terms of animation and sound design the show remains very good.
I did not enjoy spending more time with Maki Shijo, who in the previous season was a recurring visual gag (a girl being left out of things). Learning about her beef with her best friend or that she is a cousin of Kaguya was deeply uninteresting. Her comedic shtick this time was that she is a mini-Kaguya, switching between despotic and sweet. However, it felt extremely tiring and out of character, as in the previous seasons she was set up to be timid and unable to put her foot down. The other joke is that she calls Kaguya “auntie” to m…

Peak Romance
I will review this series a little.
Kaguya and Love is war, for Kaguya to change for the better as well as Miyuki, Ishigami and others.
Their past selves are a different thing from what they are now.
The visuals, graphics, and animation are great and the comedic execution is hilarious. I'm always looking forward to a sequel to this series, hopefully soon.
It takes acting to be loved, without it you will not be loved for who you are.
A great, funny, touching and relaxing storyline for beginners or seniors to enjoy.
Probably my favorite is the school festival, character backstory, love confession and Rap dance.
Overall 9/10

"Kaguya-sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic-", although adding another unnecessary tag to the title, is probably the most necessary addition to the series. Previous seasons had the romance between Kaguya and Miyuki stall out, as the first person to confess their feelings loses. Without spoiling anything, in this season, character development actually occurs.
There is this certain hype feeling that you get when rooting for a friend to finally ask someone out after said friend has told you how much they like that person over a long period of time. The "Love is War" series had provoked this feeling in the previous 2 seasons, but this season distilled its essence and shoots it right into your veins. The scenarios are more bizarre, the character dynamics are heightened, and the hype turned up to…

What a season! I don’t usually watch romcoms, but Kaguya-sama is simply too fun to ignore. The situations the characters find themselves in are consistently a delight, and the more you see of them, the more you grow to love them.
As expected, the animation is superb, full of style and energy, with clever references to movies that make every episode feel fresh. The buildup toward the season finale is impeccable—everything fits together perfectly. And while I know the series isn’t finished, this season’s conclusion still manages to feel like a satisfying ending.
I’m eagerly waiting for another season.
Favorite character: Ishigami. His development is one of the highlights of the show: from a bitter, antisocial loner to someone who can finally express how he feels. His selfless nature truly…

Comedy anime rarely makes me laugh. The humor often feels over-the-top, reliant on repetitive boring tropes, or just doesn't land for me. Because of this, I approached Love is War with cautious optimism. What I discovered, however, was nothing short of a masterpiece; a romcom that not only understands comedy but also delivers one of the most compelling and well-written love stories in the genre.
The core premise is simple, yet so entertaining : two geniuses, Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane, are deeply in love. Their fatal flaw has to be surely their MASSIVE pride and intellect force them into a high-stakes mental war, each plotting elaborate schemes to make the other confess their feelings first. It’s a battle of wits where a simple text message becomes a strategic nightmare and a ca…

Absolute cinema. I've been saying this since the beginning of time and I'll say it again. Kaguya Sama Love is War is the greatest Romcom ever made in fiction.
Every season has been perfection, but this one? This just blew away my mind with imaginary heart balloons as they flew my way blushing hard as my cheeks hurt to the fact.
I have absolutely no words to describe this feeling, ethereal, majestic, ULTRA ROMANTIC.
By far easily the best season of Kaguya Sama even though the last two were 10/10 as well.
One just can't get enough of this. I know I'm saying a whole bunch of nothing but I just can't describe the joy I'm feeling with my words. As a manga reader finally seeing "that" scene animated? Goosebumps.

Review Title: “Perfection Wears a Red Ribbon”
There are shows you watch.
There are shows you enjoy.
And then there's Kaguya-sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic — a show you feel with every beat of your heart.
Season 3 isn't just a continuation — it's a masterpiece in emotional pacing, comedic timing, and character culmination. Every moment feels like the creators reached into my soul and asked: “What would make you feel everything?” And then they gave me that, but better.
The psychological warfare is as sharp as ever, but now there’s a tender undercurrent — a sense that all these games and schemes are building to something truly meaningful. Kaguya and Shirogane’s relationship goes from delightful tension to actual emotional ignition, and watching it unfold made me want to pause time just…

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PEAK Solid 9.75/10
"Kaguya-sama: Love is War" as one of the quintessential romantic comedy anime of its generation, delivering three consistently brilliant solid seasons. It playfully subverts them, turning the simple act of confession into an elaborate, high-stakes psychological battlefield.
The selling point for this series is the characters. They are well-crafted cast of characters, the development is not only for the main duo but the entire Student Council members receive remarkable depth in written. The dynamic between Miko and Ishigami, whose arguments are as entertaining as they are indicative of their burgeoning connection and of course the comedic Fujiwara, she gives the chaotic force of nature who serves as the unpredictable, the mood-maker, guaranteeing a bu…

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Ultra Romantic delivers yet another stellar season of romantic comedy, seamlessly blending outrageous humor with emotionally resonant storytelling. Picking up where the previous seasons left off, this third installment sees Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane’s “love war” reaching new heights as their schemes become more elaborate and their feelings harder to hide.
What sets Ultra Romantic apart is its ability to raise the stakes, not just in the comedic battles but also in the emotional depth of the characters. This season strikes a perfect balance between laugh-out-loud moments and genuine, heartfelt scenes. Kaguya and Miyuki’s relationship evolves significantly, moving beyond mere prideful mind games into moments of vulnerability that make their dynamic ev…

This is a pretty good third season for Kaguya-sama: Love is War.
The story continues where it previously left off, the entire school exploding when that huge balloon popped. After that there's around five more episodes of the previous great pacing before the anime changes a bit. For the rest of the anime time moves slower because of the large amount of events that happen during the culture festival and more characters are added without too much of a background. In this part there's a bit less humour and a bit more story but it's still pretty nice to watch.
The characters are okay, there's character development but the anime mostly makes use of character traits previously introduced. There's also some new characters that we barely know anything about yet.
The art, sound and voice acti…

Kaguya Sama is truly the perfect representation of a romantic comedy and what an anime adaptation should be. this anime can make you laugh like crazy but also make you cry. Iconic characters whether they are main or secondary;this anime does not need fan services to shine or attract attention unlike most anime of the same genre;scenes which have become classic moments and which have left their mark on us. this anime is undoubtedly one of the pillars of the genre and one of the best animes in history top 20 at least. The ratings and popularity of this anime are totally deserved.

Kaguya-sama: Love is War - Ultra Romantic marks a triumphant continuation of the beloved series, delivering an enchanting blend of romance, comedy, and character development. As a dedicated fan of the franchise, I found myself captivated by the latest installment, which exceeded all expectations and solidified its place as one of my all-time favorites.
The heart of the show lies in its exploration of the intricate dynamics between Kaguya Shinomiya, Miyuki Shirogane, and their eccentric circle of friends. The series skillfully navigates the complexities of love and friendship, weaving together a tapestry of heartfelt moments and laugh-out-loud comedy that keeps viewers thoroughly engaged from start to finish.
The romance in the anime is nothing short of sublime, as Kaguya and Miyuki's rel…

tl;dr: A solid continuation that evolves spectacularly in the second half.
Ultra Romantic is the third season of Kaguya-sama: Love is War which continues the tale of Shirogane and Shinomiya trying to get each other to confess. This season picks up exactly where the previous season left off, and for the first half or so it’s pretty much just a continuation of the previous season that doesn’t really evolve in anyway. That’s certainly not a bad thing, as the previous season was great and the set up still had quite a bit of room for more content without needing to evolve. The comedy is as great as ever and thus the first half of the anime is just as enjoyable as previous seasons have been.
However, the second half is where things really get interesting. This half is entirely focused around t…
