It felt like a trash anime, but luckily I'm a raccoon, so I thoroughly enjoyed it. Having seen so many romance anime where you have to wait 12 full episodes just for them to hold hands at the last minute, this one was a much needed breath of fresh air.
The plot was mostly predictable, but it still felt like a rollercoaster even when you could deduce the upcoming twists. Just because I've ridden multiple rollercoasters and know exactly what to expect, it didn't deduct from the thrill of the ride itself.
My only real critique is the "Chekhov's gun" element. It was teased throughout the entire season but ultimately left unused.

ultra short review.
its a feel good anime. both main characters are mega cute etc. even tho its anime and a very idealistic and over the top portrayal, the emotional vibe was authentic, not too different from my first relationship. think they have done rather well showing all that sweetness and shyness and being a klutz yet sincere - which ultimately makes things work.
what i liked less: towards the end side characters and their stories were somewhat two dimensional, just going thru the motions as filler to the main story. little too automated. i did write a better description of places i refer to exactly, but then realized i stepped into spoiler territory and removed it.
overall i had enjoyed it quite enough to binge it. 7/10

Another awkward and boring MC, and that's exactly what ruins every romance they appear in. Why do they turn guys into wimps who would wet themselves when they're with a girl? It's unwatchable. When will I see an MC who isn't a wimp but a real man?
And what kind of romance is this when he's been dating her for a week and he's already thinking about how she's cheating on him and wants to break up with him, it doesn't make sense, why would she say yes in the beginning only to dump him right away?
And of course, there must be competition, who rejected him in the past and now suddenly thinks she loves him too (what a coincidence, when he finally finds a girl, she falls in love with him) and does everything to break up their relationship (I won't say anything if it was short-lived, but she tri…

Come on how can she be not trash i mean people judge us based on our personality, the people we hang out with, our behaviour
So the rumours spreading about her being a slut is fully her fault.
Ryou is a simp and I don't have to prove that is she was a prostitute still he would have fallen for her . Rune has the highest chances to cheat out of any girlfriend carecters in anime.
I am not over glazing her just compare her to other garu carecters .
Garu means- they are stylish
But carecters like her made the garu girls worse potential- sexualy and emotionaly experienced rune don't have sexual exchanges because she is a minor but if she was in college it wouldn't just be kissing that she shares and it can be cleared by her carecter.
Let me ask you she had to go through multiple guys to un…

Sometimes you watch an anime and think, Ah, so this is what garbage day feels like.
This show is exactly that anime-shaped trash pickup.
We’ve got our MC: a hopeless loser who literally only confesses because he lost a bet. Smooth. Truly the stuff of romance legends. Every time he opens his mouth, he stutters, blushes, and malfunctions like a broken vending machine. This isn’t relatable awkwardness it’s cringe cosplay.
And the heroine? Shirakawa Luna. Aka: “the gyaru who’s dated more guys than a gacha whale rolls for waifus.” Except, of course, the writing tries to paint her as “deep down she just wants true love.” Spare me. Her backstory isn’t tragic it’s just a lazy excuse to slap a redemption arc on a fanservice mascot.
Side characters? Don’t bother remembering their names. They’re…

I had initially thought this show was going to be along the lines of ecchi and/or fanservice, but boy, was I pleasantly surprised. This is a true romance, and truly enjoyable one at that!
This story follows Ryuuto and Runa and the love that grows between them. Their chemistry is so perfect and genuine. Ryuuto is the quiet intellectual, while Runa is the outgoing and happy-go-lucky type, but together they create perfect harmony.
I really love these types of pairings (the black cat and golden retriever). To me, they're the perfect balance. Metaphorically, the cat typically helps calm the dog, while the dog helps bring out the cat from its "shell." Personally, I find these relationships in anime the best!
And this show does a great job of achieving that!
Beyond the likable characters, th…

I didn't expect much to be honest, and while there's room for improvement, the show was surprisingly wholesome.
It reminded me of a relationship I had once, so I didn't find the interactions between the characters that far from reality except for some dumb choices of the MC, especially when going to Luna’s house in the first episode (you know which part).
The animation was nothing out of the ordinary, and the sound was okay I guess? However, what I really liked was the female characters’ designs. I find the whole gal aesthetic to be really cool, and Luna and her friends were very cute.
Again, it's nothing special, but I did have a good time with it. I hope there's a second season coming.

This anime is not just “mid” or “disappointing.” It’s a clear representation of how love has lost its meaning in modern media. It’s everything I despise about today’s relationship mindset, wrapped in pastel colors and fake emotional fluff.
You have a girl who's experienced — and that word is thrown around like a badge of wisdom, as if prior boyfriends, flings, or mistakes automatically make someone more “emotionally mature.” Meanwhile, the guy? An inexperienced, passive self-insert with no backbone, just grateful to be “chosen.”
What this show pushes is the “dating résumé” mindset: the more you’ve loved and lost, the more valuable your love becomes. That’s a lie. A dangerous one.
Let me make something clear:
This isn’t about virginity. It’s about sacredness. It’s about meaning.
When you’…

My first review on MAL, and probably because it’s the first time I’ve rated an anime this low, despite it supposedly belonging to a genre I usually enjoy.
I’m frustrated and genuinely bewildered by this show, and I’m going to explain why, without giving away spoilers for those who still want to give it a try.
To start, the premise of the story is completely absurd. While that’s not uncommon in school romance anime, the issue here is that the plot never manages to evolve past its ridiculous setup. In most cases, a shaky premise is forgivable if the story develops in a compelling way, but that’s not what happens here. Instead, the absurdity just escalates episode after episode.
Then there are the main characters. Runa is completely disconnected from reality. She’s naive, maybe even dumb,…

This anime is more than one might expect. Its characters feel very real (at least in my opinion), and its story, along with how it unfolds, is truly interesting. Even so, I find it unfair how people judged this anime solely based on its "premise" and the fact that the protagonist's girlfriend is not a virgin. It's sad that many of those critics didn't even finish the anime yet still chose to criticize and rate it poorly without knowing how good it actually is. This is a clear example of judging a book by its cover.
In my opinion, this is an anime that is absolutely worth watching for its comedy, romance, and excellent character development. With nothing more to say, I hope that whoever is reading this gives it a chance.

The show does a surprisingly good job of showing the emotions of first love, something anime often glosses over. It approaches the themes from a fairly mature perspective including insecurity, doubt, and sex along with the excitement of finding the one for the first time. The main couple, Runa and Ryuto are charming together. Some of these themes may not be appreciated by the younger crowd but for the more mature viewers who remember their first love it's a satisfying watch.
Most romance anime shows portray a watered down version of romance and first love as though written by someone yet to actually experience it and they are giving a fairy tail type version. This show is more realistic in showing the emotions experienced by the characters. Very Well done.

So I just finished this anime today and I’ve got to wonder where the hate comes from for this show?
I can understand it not being nearly as good as Horimiya or Kimi ni Todoke or Kaguya or even Nagatoro, but it still has a lot of fun moments and really makes you wonder what the characters are going through.
You’ve got the main character who asks out Runa in episode one, and by the end she’s offering him sex. There’s a lot out of the gate that feels wrong, but it made me wonder more about it. Honestly, I dropped this shower after the first episode with no thought until I just got done going on a Romance Arc, myself. So, I found myself revisiting this show just two days ago.
And I’m glad that I did.
You’ve got the typical popular girl and the dorky guy who end up dating. Generic, right? W…

3/10 If i can describe this anime is The Loser’s Perfect Wet Dream Fantasy, The loser that somehow gets the school’s top huzz?? And his first love is actually his GF twin?😱Alright, tbh this is quite realistic plot to begin with. excluding the FL twin part, that unrealistic AF. I’ll break it down what makes it bad.
-Please Watch Other Romance Anime If You’re Clueless About Woman. Don’t Learn From This One-
A few anime these past years has done a similar plot and made it out decently. But this isn’t one of them. Initially the first few episode i score this an 5/10 because its still somewhat relatable. I swear i’ve been there, done that personally. But, oh no the rate keeps dropping and felt less and less relatable.
Why? because this is simply not realistic, annoying and its starting to g…

Wow, just... wow. I'm still reeling from the emotional rollercoaster. I mean, I thought I was getting into a typical rom-com, but nope - this show went deep.
The characters? So beautifully flawed. Inexperienced protagonist Ryuto Kashima, check. Experienced heroine Runa Shirakawa with emotional baggage, check. But the way they navigate their relationship, with all its ups and downs... it's just so real.
I loved how the show tackled sensitive topics like trauma, vulnerability, and trust. It's not always easy to watch, but it's so worth it. And the supporting cast? Amazing. I mean, who wouldn't want a best friend like Minami?
The animation is gorgeous, the music is catchy, and the pacing is just right. But honestly, it's the characters and their story that make this show truly special.
I'…

This show actually had potential and I felt intrigued by some of the concepts shown in episode 1, but it ends up introducing drama just for the sake of drama and sadly falls into patterns and predictable plot points which causes all of the potential to turn to nothingness.
The characters are very stereotypical (Gyaru and lonely Otaku) and it tries to break free from said stereotypes but ultimately fails to do so. The main character Ryuuto is incredibly bland and basically more or less "forced" to date the Gyaru as the relationship pretty much came to be in a completely unnatural way, after he lost a bet with his friends and he "had to ask her out". Unlike you would expect, she actually ends up accepting like it was nothing, which as mentioned before has the potential to be intriguing sin…

Ah sh*t, here we go again.
So, this anime is about an introvert kinda gamer boy, who is also shy and never had a girlfriend (original, am I right), who one day on a dare asks out the most popular (pretty fake) gyaru girl from his class (and possibly the most popular in school). He is ready to be rejected as he has feelings for her (a crush), but to everyone's suprise she says yes, and to lest give it a chance.
So, I will try to continue to write without spoilers from now on.
Story: I liked that in the story, the writers sometimes present a more mature and realistic way of romance and relationships (loke talking about sex in a healthy, not pervert way, talking about the need to support each other and help with each others past traumas, 16 year olds having the body of adults but not mature…

I have read the first three chapters of the manga and I didn't like it at all. it's your typical teen romance manga and I did not like Gyarus
then I heard the news that it was getting an adaptation and I ignored it because I thing it was shit
well I think it is? it conveys emotions that impacts you but some of the scenes are cringe. and cute?
This show only made me hate myself for being alone cuz of da cuteness its shit but its alright.
I still have mixed feelings over this idk mybe an 8/10 the story is unique in its own way but I didn't like it as much because the twists where unrealistic

This show is one of the most overrated shows in recent times but as I saw, many people are picking different reasoning for it than me...
First, I don't care about that "good quality stuff" cringe, which is still cringe but you can feel like teen girl watching her favorite duo doing weird things. It's something you usually expect in romcoms.
But there are different reasons, why this anime is bad (and I am basically giving it points just for the animation and some idea at the start of the story).
First reason - character development. There are pieces, that don't have character development or have small one. It's often boring, because you are watching multiple episodes/seasons of characters behaving literally the same way, not learning from their mistakes and just doing stupid things. But…

“Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me”, nothing like a succinct title, also known as “Kimizero” is what happens when You take the term “I can fix her” and turn it up to 11.
The plot of “Our Dating Story” focuses on two brainlets who could avoid 90% of drama if they took 5 seconds to communicate properly. I get it. They are supposed to be teenagers. Teen years are characterised by being an idiot. I get it. Listen. Everyone has the right to be a moron. Both in life and in anime. These two just abuse that privilege. But I’m getting too far ahead, we’ll get to that point soon enough.
Let’s have a look at the main cast.
Ryuuto Kashima - a 16 year old moron, I mean, highschool student. He has a crush on Runa but is determined to keep it to himself. As this is a shitt…

This romantic comedy is a refreshing standout in the anime genre, effectively challenging and overturning prevailing stereotypes about popular girls. The story centers around an unlikely romantic venture where a shy, unpopular boy courageously confesses his love to Shirakawa, a girl known for her charisma and popularity. Far from fitting the mold of the superficial 'it girl', Shirakawa emerges as a nuanced character whose depth and emotional intelligence breathe new life into the familiar narrative.
One of the standout aspects of the series is how it handles the development of Shirakawa and Riuuto's relationship. Unlike typical rom-coms where characters remain static, Shirakawa displays a remarkable capacity for emotional growth and introspection. Despite her history of romantic setbacks,…
