Absolutely phenomenal.
This anime is a complete story - 2 seasons and a movie (and some specials).
This review pertains to the full show - 2 seasons + movie + specials.
You have to watch all of it for the payoff, but trust me the payoff is absolutely fantastic, and it comes in the movie after season two.
The movie is without a doubt the best romantic anime I have ever watched. (or on par with Kaguya-sama)
It is quite original in my opinion, compared to other romance anime.
How so? Well it actually has plot/focus.
The characters have GOALS - and I mean real goals, whereas in other anime the romance is the goal itself, here is different.
While there are some tropes, with the 2 main girls especially - they will perhaps appear like a thousand other anime girls you have seen before. HOWEVER…

This second season I quite like, although there are still a lot of harem and ecchi scenes, to the point where I started to get sick of it, but in the middle of the season it started to get better, I don't want to be naive because if it's not like that, this anime won't get an adaptation as fast as this within 2 years of season two coming out, even the movie is only 2 years apart from the release of season 2, because this is for the entertainment of many people, not you dang, so what is judged is the opinion of the majority of people, even though I really like eps 8, the best part of this season is eps 8, the quality is also improved, in important parts it is well illustrated, but that's how you can say the genre of this anime according to my personal ecchi 30% harem 30% comedy 30% romance…

Saekano ss2 END. The last few eps are heavy, but the whole movie is boring to watch. It's not much better than ss1. Sometimes it's even more cringe after both ss still don't have much sympathy for senpai. I don't understand why she's having a serious conversation but acting like a prostitute. *i. As for the tsundere, I feel a little more sympathetic than the dev at a temporary level. What I think this series lacks is the inner expression of the character, which makes it difficult for viewers to sympathize, so the characters feel only at a typical level according to 1 In short, Mid, especially Megumin, has something special but hasn't been shown much yet. After both seasons, there still isn't a single quality romcom, let alone a love drama, which makes me quite disappointed. Regarding the p…

I'm still smiling like a fool after finishing this anime. Megumi, oh Megumi... she's literally the purest and sweetest girl I've ever had the pleasure of watching. I mean, her smile can light up a room!
But what really made this show shine was Tomoya and Megumi's relationship. It was like watching a beautiful, slow-burning flame grow into a warm, cozy fire. They didn't rush into anything, and that's what made it so believable and sweet. They took the time to understand each other, to support each other... it was like watching a real relationship blossom.
And can I just say, I loved how the show didn't shy away from the little things? The way Tomoya and Megumi would have these adorable, mundane conversations... it felt so real. Like, I've had those same conversations with my own friends a…

This season starts the same way as Season one ends So it’s a continuation, which is good The only notable change The more character development as you get to see them More and like them It’s a pretty comfortable watch for someone who just wants anime that isn’t too hard easy to watch And get invested in
I watched season one two years ago, completely forgot about season two watched season two and understood everything. Oh, harem stuff is okay nothing crazy, which is nice
I was a little confused with the ending of season two as it was fairly open but I have now realised that there is a movie so I’ll be watching that next
Animation cast and everything like that was really good, so I can’t complain too much. I really did enjoy it Due to the fact it was so easy to get into and isn’t somethi…

THIS IS A SPOILER-FREE REVIEW
After the lighthearted fun of season one, i originally wasn´t that excited for season two. The show was good yes, but it didn´t really do something in particular to really stand out from the rest. So after watching the first few episodes of season two, i was extremely surprised. This was everything i wanted from a show like this.
Story - 8/10
Wow, i did not expect this to be as mature and well written as it was. If season one was a lighthearted story about getting a group of friends together for a project, this was about holding the group together and making your dreams come true. There are huge obstacles in the way of our team this time, obstacles that way exceed everything they thought about in the beginning. The show takes it´s time and talks about some…

Imma gonna give (8.29) for season 2 ratings.
To be clear, maybe I would say that the storyline in the second season is very monotonous and predictable. They just put the spice of drama into the plot at the end of the story which at least managed to lift the atmosphere a little. But, overall I will still say that the storyline and plot the second season is quite monotonous. Characterizations that really show the reality of the creator's world are quite interesting to watch in my opinion. At least there are aspects of the story that are truly in accordance with reality and don't impose the idealism 'we will always be together'. As for character appearance, what sells here is only the appearance of the main heroine herself, namely Katou Megumi, who in my opinion is truly unique and hopes to…

I just finished the anime and movie and it was fucking great. The movie and anime were both just extraordinary. The only downside was that it ended. This anime has a lot of self awareness which makes it really funny and it has a unique concept. The characters at first may seem generic but the story creates layers of the characters depth through each episode. Most of the characters there are really sweet and are just an enjoyment to watch. The drama starts to pick up in the second season which in a way is a roller coaster of emotions. The only problem is that this anime has somewhat of a slow start but was still very great. The movie concludes everything well to the point where I almost cried. It made me feel like I didn't want this anime to end. The unique concept also plays a big role whe…

tl;dr: A solid continuation that builds on the characters and bonds from the first season for some really strong emotional beats with some of them, though at the expense of mostly ignoring the rest.
This is the second season of Saekano, and picks up pretty much exactly where the first season left off. The game circle, now known as Blessing Software, is continuing their work on the galge Cherry Blessing. The first half of the season doesn’t do all that much, basically just continuing how things were in the first season and setting some thematic foundation for where things will go after. The first episode starts off just showcasing the cast again, though it does also show how pretty strong bonds have been developed between all of them, including between Utaha and Eriri. The rest of the firs…

Long story short,
The story is what makes me love this anime. Could have been a 10/10 if there is better animation or sound though. Yes, it has your generic romcom/harem anime tags. But they become generic is because they work. This season of Saekano definitely still retain those tags but gearing more towards the character drama. You should try watching it. Don’t like it? It’s okay, you do you.
First half of the season continue where season 1 left off and basically done with the story "arc" which is nice that they don't drag it for too long and end it in a tasteful way. Which then follow up with new plot in the second half of the season. However, a certain development happened in the new plot which definitely displeased some people, and I totally understand why they feel that way. To me,…

Its definitely 100% better than the first season. Well, the first season is quite good, but you don't find anything special or something worth remembering. But this season, I already miss the long haired kato(and everything about her). I get to know another side of utaha and eriri too.
The MC is still trash, that's why I'm really satisfied he didn't get what he wants. That's what I like from this anime, there are no unnecessary kindness from other characters just because he's the main protagonist. You really get what you deserve.
I think the first season is just an intro for this.
I came for the "plot", but I finally know what's good about this anime other than its high quality fan service.

I hate it when an anime this unexpectedly good doesn't have a season 3. Season 1 was what i expected from this anime and to be honest i actually liked it but unfortunately the only memorable part of that season was the incredible amount of fan service it had. Season 2 on the other hand caught me off guard. I thought season 2 would take the same route as season 1 but fortunately i was wrong. The first couple of episodes in season 2 was what i expected from this show, which is a series that is filled with fan service, average dialogue, likable characters and sometimes well executed comedic moments, but the last couple of episodes was something i did not forsee, I really liked the fact that this series wanted to be more than just an anime that you can use as a fap material. It is no secret th…

This can be a 10/10, i like the drama in the second part of the season, that give a twist of a story that was becoming repetitive very fast.
But it's not a 10/10 for some mistakes.
SPOILERS
First of all, Eriri make no sense quitting the club like that.
I understand Utaha that want to grow as an artist, and i will be fine if Eriri want to do the same thing, but that was not the case. She quit because the MC don't scream at her like crazy to make her lazy ass to work.
That is it.
That is how she explain it.
If you need that, you are no artist, you are a masochist.
That is one one thing, but the big mistake of the show is how they manage the drama.
In that, the reaction of MC was too soft.
Very mature for him, but also very boring.
In just few minutes he force himself to like the thing…

Quick Thoughts:
Attempts to add drama and depth to basic harem fell flat.
Story:
This season covers some backstory between Eriri and Utaha, the completion of Blessing Software's game, and plans for the group going forward. Central to all of this is the group (Namely Eriri, Utaha, and Megumi) putting pressure on Tomoya to make his priorities clear, both business-wise and romantically. There's little to no subtlety put into how this is presented, and the end result is something frustrating to watch. Whether it's through direct communication or subliminally through the scripts they write for the game, the girls feelings and expectations are in plain sight for Tomoya, yet they use the typical oblivious harem protag cliché to stretch this drama over a full season.
These flaws aren't made up fo…

I was enjoying the first season so far,but when I started the second one,Utaha just made everything better,I knew she was the best girl since the first season, but they made her even better, after that scene on the train station,my heart just exploded,it was fantastic.
I don't what to talk about the history itself,'cause I was only focused on the best girl,Utaha best waifu!
Eriri was a good character too,I feel so enjoyed watching some moments with her!
Kato is a great character, but after letting Utaha and Eriri on the spot, she didn't had a chance to get her own moment with Tomo that would let me think “Okay, she can have a chance to get better in the story",but this didn't happen,it was cute the hang out of her and Tomo, but as I said,Utaha and Eriri just got the spot!
Tomoya,was good,but eve…

What a brilliant show this is and I'm glad I'm writing my first review for this. When I watched Season 1, it was good. Nothing to be blown away. But Season 2 seemed like a different show in itself. The characters, the art, the interactions, andthe music was all top-notch. I loved every single moment in this season except for episode 9 and 10(Was a little disappointed there). Anyway, I loved episode 8 and 11. The whole series was very well written save for 1-2 episodes. And I can't say enough about the OST of Flat. It is such a beautiful opening.
The biggest change for me in this season was Megumi's character development. She was surpassing herself with easch episode. Her character development went linearly upwards and it was nice to see how she went from someone who was unnoticable in Se…

Spoilers from episode 9 onwards, I wrote in Portuguese and just translated into English with the Google translator
The anime has a very light and relaxed atmosphere most of the time, I thought about quitting at the end of the first season but it had a satisfying ending and made me watch the second season, during the initial episodes the protagonist receives some hints about his personality and in the episode we have the shock of reality and a direct criticism about his lack of "steady pulse", the world of the protagonist collapses and then you believe that there will be a character development, that the protagonist will make a choice and evolve as person, however, in the end the anime puts comedy moments to lighten the mood and all the drama previously made loses all meaning, if it had…

Overall, SaeKano is an entertaining take on the creative industry with a set of characters that aren't hard to love and a direction that leaves much to be desired, which unfortunately, is not unlikely done on purpose. Beautiful animation, but not masterful. Appropriate music as well as character image songs. A select few insert songs are actually very, very good. Personally, Eternal Flat and Blooming Lily made me feel really emotional. The series is worth it, but definitely far from perfect.
The series gives off an impression of being your typical, feel-good harem: an average MC with a harem composed of pre-loved character tropes. For the most part, the anime embraces its genres. For better or for worse, the anime is not entirely unique, nor are its progressions.
The second season is an…

Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata Flat
