I really liked the confusing plotline and the whole chaos. The show is fast-paced and short, but you really see the characters shine in their cliche and one-sided personalities. The art style is extravagated, cutesy and very colourful.
The premise if you ask me is about how a very normal middle-schooler deals with her totally normal first love and overcomes ordinary problems. The story has an open end, but it fits the narrative.
The big revelation at the end surprised me in a good way and made me like the show lots more. On top of that, other Trigger-made characters make their appearances, and it does not at all seem weird. They all just co-exist in this big wide universe.
If you like flashy action and just sitting back from time to time to be easy feed a story, you will love this. A p…

Luluco Is Totally Normal, But Is Normal Good?
Space Patrol Luluco Is a show about a girl who tries to be normal, and the world keeps getting in the way.
The show is hyporeacted in that awesome Studio Trigger way. it's just a style that works completely for me and leaves me with a smile, and every time a characters yelled Justice I am also yelling Justice!.
Luluco Is a fun protagonist, Who want to be normal despite everything, and her constant embarrassment by the lack of it. is fun to see and her personal journey works well as a theme for the show. The comedy dialogues works well in this show with the fast-paced humour. and the studio trigger cameos are just my thing.
The short episode length work well for the comedic tone of the show, and just make sure that nothing feels dragged out.…

There’s one word that perfectly captures this mini-show: goofy—in the best possible way. Considering each episode being about 6 minutes.
Sure, the characters aren’t that deep, the plot is simple, and the budget seems low, but that’s exactly what makes this show so enjoyable. It embraces its silliness with confidence, delivering a lighthearted experience that’s perfect for unwinding after a long day.
The fast-paced storytelling works to its advantage. Without the burden of a complex story or heavy lore, it’s incredibly easy to dive in and enjoy every moment. You don’t need to think too hard—just sit back and have fun.
The episode featuring Inferno Cop is arguably the most unique in the entire series.
The characters, while simple, are undeniably charming. The main character is cute and s…

Studio Trigger in its purest form. Bombastic scene after bombastic scene that brings immense pleasure to the eyes. A cast of funny characters and references to other Trigger shows, allowing for a true celebration of Studio Trigger, being to it what Sonic Mania is to Sonic. The story is full of interesting and logical twists that keeps one engaged, tying it together with a lesson that may be overlooked by some. Listening to the full version of the title sequence brings pure joy to my heart. My biggest complaint is that it simply wasn't long enough. If you don't like Studio Trigger's style it may not be for you, but if you like their other stuff like I do you'll love this.
The reliance on references does make it so that it's improved by watching Trigger's other shows, so if you feel like it…

This show is a fever dream. A fever dream that i enjoyed actually.
Space Patrol Luluco is a show that has an absolutely breakneck pace without any sort of break or downtime. This makes sense, as its total runtime of the series is just under 2 hours, 90 if you skip the OP and ED. In classic trigger style, they make a show that has a very unique art style and is honestly half the reason behind my score. The story was good, with a pretty sweet ending. The message is the usual "follow your heart" but honestly the way its conveyed is enough to forgive that.
Essentially, its a show with a normal message, a rather entertaining story, and great art that just makes it stand out from most other anime. Even if you're still on the fence, the average episode is 8 minutes, so its worth at least trying…

Space Patrol Luluco is a weird little romp tailor-made for the Studio Trigger superfan. Even if you're not, it's funny, flashy, and frantic, and with such a short runtime the investment is more than worth it. To begin with the story, its structure is simple, often nonsensical, and generally only exists as a vehicle for Luluco to visit a bunch of worlds which are straight references of other Studio Trigger properties. Actually, they're not even references, they're just visits to the worlds themselves. So yeah, that's a lot of fun, especially if you're a fan of their other stuff. The story's pretty weak in the first half, which is perfectly fine for something like this, but really picks up by the end.
The art is, as per Studio Trigger's usual fare, excellent in the extreme, embodying a fre…

Space Patrol Luluco consists of 13 bite-sized episodes that are perfect for binging. It's a very quick watch, and a very fun one at that.
This anime isn't deep, nor groundbreaking, but its got a lot of great elements to it. The art style is simple, but its bouncy and fun to watch. The story is basic but goofy, with a surprising heart to it near the end. The characters aren't deep but they're quirky and fun enough to be likeable. The soundtrack isn't varied but some of the tracks are real bangers, including the amazing opening and ending themes. And, of course, the extremely blatant but extremely fun "references" to other works from Studio Trigger. (Honestly, I can't even call them references due to how in-your-face they are.)
Overall, I've used this word a lot in this review, but this an…

To sum up this show in one sentence, this is the most Trigger show Trigger has made. If you're a Trigger fan like me, you'll appreciate this. It's a goofy show that's just a collection of 'Trigger' tropes and references to Trigger's other works such as Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia, and Inferno Cop. And these are just subtle references either, they're very blatant. Inferno Cop is literally a recurring character throughout the show, and there are entire episodes dedicated to Little Witch Academia and Kill la Kill references, where Sucy and Guts make guest appearances. If you're a fan of Trigger's other works this is a fun, short watch for you. It's basically just fanservice (not in the sexual way) for Trigger fans, so if you aren't a Trigger fan, you won't appreciate this.

This anime is just a huge fanservice for trigger fanboys and girls.
To sum it all up in short
The plot is short and linear. Just fights right in the setting and time frame the show plays in. The pacing is incredibly fast and that is done JUSTICE to this anime.
The art is simple, it does remind me of Mako from Kill la Kill and a bit of Gurren Lagan. The way it is animated is very smooth and high quality, which doe JUSTICE.
The characters are simple to understand yet moving. You know what for characters they are and they fulfill their roll just perfect doing JUSTICE to their stereotypes. I like it how fast the character development is. You get just sucked into to story enough to totally like it.
Voice acting was so funny. Especially the english cracks me up.
The true justice of of this…

A series of 5 minute webisodes (not including intro and outro). All flash and no substance. This anime is hyper-kinetic and loud and seemed more like adverts than anything else. There are a lot of bright colours but not much else, everything seems put there just to get your attention. It has no substance, I wanted it to make me laugh, but there was nothing there that even made me grin. If you like fast talking characters that make no sense then this is for you, if you're looking for feels or laughs you won't fine them here. The art is good, the colours are bright, and the sound is loud and none of the jokes are really funny.

If there’s a common thread that connects all of Trigger’s vastly different shows, it’s the theme of triumphant individualism. The spirit driving this studio is a spirit that values what the individual can accomplish with their own unique talents, both in terms of the characters within the story and the people making the shows themselves. Trigger heroes will rise above adversity and stake their claim upon the world, refusing to be tied down by any system and charting their own blazing path through the universe. Meanwhile, the animators and directors bringing their story to life are allowed to go as hog-wild with creative ideas and unhinged animation cuts as they wish, willing to take big changes and goofy steps in whatever direction suits them. Yu could never accuse them of cowardice or che…

This anime has a very unique, over-the-top sense of humor and memorable characters.
The plot is delightfully ridiculous and the comedic writing is done perfectly to match this absurdity.
Most of my issues with it are just personal preference - I found the lovey dovey young teen love song at the end didn't really fit the general comedic theme of the show but that's probably my biggest issue with the series.
There's a lot of references to other studio trigger projects, which I find can be a bit tasteless if overdone, but ultimately it does not really affect the quality of this anime.
The art and music is great. The characters are all interesting and well written. The plot is a breath of fresh air, not to mention ridiculous and hilarious.
A great anime all around. If you like absurd com…

trigger got me again.
i love the story how it turned from school girl to space and all that but.
TRIGGER STOP MAKING SOMETHING HAPPEN TO YOUR BLONDE CHARACTERS LIKE WTH. i will not say what that something is
In all seriousness this is my new favorite anime. It's a trigger animation so I already had high hopes. The colors and animation are fluid as ever and the irony is strong as ever. The characters really grab me and the unexpected always comes. Short but it really made me cry a lot. And the outro and music is just.. Omg.. I tear up when ever I hear it's just so pretty!! Trigger did a good job with this even with that wtf ending as usual.

If Trigger ever put all of their biggest animations on a box, Space Patrol Luluco would be that box.
Compared to most of Trigger's animation, this anime series are just a few and bite-sized, or in other words, it's only 13 episode and 8 minutes in duration for each episode.
Three words that can describe Space Patrol Luluco: Chaotic, Unexpected, and Wonderful.
I don't really go on the anime for the story though, but the story is understandable and interesting. Since this anime is bite-sized, it gets weird and weirder every minutes over the show.
The characters are just funny and lovely - apart of the other Trigger animation that have crossover here.
You can find most of Trigger animation references throughout the series, like Kill La Kill, Little Witch Academia, Inferno Cop, and pretty…

Top tier garbage, the only reason I gave it a 2/10 instead of 1/10 is because it managed to make me laugh once or twice. It's just that those times it made me laugh, it was with jokes that were only funny once yet was re-used to the point where they were beating a dead horse with vigor and ferocity that would make one question whether that particular horse had previously murdered all their friends and family in front of them.
It's a show with half-arsed jokes made with no thoughts, everything they thought of went into the show. Rather than comedy, the only thing this should be doing well, it seems more focused on offering a wacky art style that isn't interesting or good in any way. Well, one can see what to expect from these people if you look at kill la kill, it's all about the art while…

A short anime made with little effort deserves a short review written with little effort.
There exists a principle in economics called diminishing returns. It also applies to comedy and art. Remember Inferno Cop? Remember how funny and different it was? You first saw it and your jaw dropped. You just HAD to share it with friends. Then we got Ninja Slayer and it was the same fucking thing, but it was still funny. Much like Hangover 2 was still funny. Luluco is Inferno Cop 3 and while not as bad as Hangover 3, it's still pretty bad. I honestly found myself laughing very sparsely by this point. They changed NOTHING and expect us to still keep laughing at the same joke. I'm sorry Mr. Imaishi, but this horse is dead. You killed it. It's time to stop beating it and move on to something else.

I will neither say it's underrated nor overrated. But i enjoyed it so much. I don't know how to describe my feeling from it. Haven't seen pure soul, pure mind, pure love like this for a little while.
Luluco must be protected at all cost! I liked her character so much. I want to be like her. She does everything carelessly, doesn't know what rudeness is. Such an innocent girl.
In addition, ending song and its video were extremely chilling & aesthetic.
If you liked Kill la Kill, you would probably like this one too. Some stuffs are lame, but overall is good.

This isn't going to make sense... I know. (And keep in mind, I don't LOVE studio Trigger, I didn't really care for Kill La Kill). I rated Story/Art/Characters all 6s. But overall I loved it. Why?
The Characters are your typical anime tropes. The ditsy girl that just wants to be normal. The handsome boy that shows up and changes everything. The cynical side character/friend.
The place and time, future japan.
Ok, just imagine every basic anime trope and shove it into a satirical short anime series. That's Luluco. It's dumb, it's silly, it's fast. It doesn't take itself or the genre seriously. The art is repetitive a lot, mocking the reuse of scenes. The magical transformation is awkward and looks painful, mocking the transformations of other shows. The shallow love is just that, shallow…

A IMP Review of: Space Patrol Luluco (Dubbed edition)
(IMP stands for “In My Prospective”, meaning if someone attempts to correct the way i see the show i have no intention of reading any “corrections”)
Story: Have you ever wanted something very similar to panty and stocking? When the animation, story type, and characters are highly similar to panty and stocking but just don't cut in to be as good as Panty and stocking, so where most understand Panty and Stockings wacky type storyline this show didn't get close enough to it, 6/10. Ultimately story was not this shows strong suit. Yes it has one, but you dart in so many directions with what makes sense, where you are and what’s happening that you kind just give up on trying to grasp it all, when it comes to panty and stocking, it’s clear wh…

WARNING: THIS REVIEW IS BIASED AND COULD CONTAIN SPOILERS. TAKE IT WITH THE GRAIN OF SALT.
Space Patrol Luluco is one of the shows that somehow never fail to make me smile. It is incredibly energetic and goofy, but at the same time charming.
While story is fairly simple considering how short it is, it is so off the rails that it becomes so enjoyable. There are some twists that might not be expected when watching it. However, it's nothing groundbreaking that will forever change the anime industry. It's just a simple show after all. It's shortness is both a weakness and a strong point. On one hand, it makes it easy to watch considering you are just gonna spend 7 minutes per episode. On other hand, shortness can hinder the pacing and character development, making everything feel rushed.…
