I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability

Introduction

In his past life, Prince Lloyd de Saloum was a commoner who could not become adept at magic, no matter how knowledgeable or obsessed he was about it. Now reincarnated into his current royal lineage, he receives a body with seemingly endless mana, making his desire to master all things arcane attainable. Moreover, as the seventh prince of the kingdom, Lloyd has no claim to the throne, allowing him to nurture his abilities as freely as he wants. Unfortunately for Lloyd, ancient seals that imprison powerful demons begin to break down and release the horrors within, endangering the peace. With these monstrosities roaming around, Lloyd's overwhelming magical prowess is the ultimate weapon that can neutralize these threats before all things descend to chaos. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

I always enjoy the feeling of being swept away into a joy ride without prior planning, nor expectations. From the first minutes I opened 7th Prince, I knew this one was a gem, and I prayed it would not disappoint. And boy it was far far from disappointing. Setting the stunning animation and fascinating magic design aside, the characters in this show are really really interesting. Every character is well introduced and given its perfect weight, making a harmonized, funny, thrilling story without any depth needed like we find in Frieren or Jobless Reincarnation. This alone is mind-blowing and very hard to find. Even the villain characters were good, not OP particularly, just well introduced without any noise or provoking unnecessary curiosity. My only issue is the sexuality theme to the po…

THIS WAS THE BEST ANIME I HAVE EVER SEEN, I loved the character styles and the characters personalities and the fashion sense. Honestly incredibly done. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!! honestly was not predictable at all, and was incredibly enjoyable I was pleasantly surprised. The story was unique and well written. Not commonly done today anymore. The art style was perfect for the story I don’t think it could have been done better. IT WAS INCREDIBLY REALISTIC. I think everyone should give this a try they WILL LOVE IT. It is rare to find an anime that hits with that much impact, but Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu (I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability) definitely deserves the hype. While many "r…

This is the most uncomfortable anime I’ve watched in a while. The story itself isn’t terrible on paper. It follows a pretty standard reincarnation power fantasy setup, and while it’s predictable, that kind of formula can still be enjoyable if executed well, but the problem is that the presentation completely undercuts any potential the plot has. Instead of focusing on worldbuilding or meaningful progression, the show leans heavily into horrid character showigs that distract from everything else. While the animation quality of the art style appears polished, it is the design choices that RUIN it entirely. The character designs, especially for the main character, feel intentionally provocative in a way that doesn’t match the tone of the story. It creates a disconnect that makes it hard to…

Yeah - pretty degenerate. Very much not recommended. The design for the 10-year old MC was taken from the later Manga versions, where they went fully feminized & sexualized little boy, with pudgy thighs, wide hips and tiny waist. And the shots are clearly meant to titillate pervs. Perhaps this will offend some, but I have to be honest with this one. The artwork is based upon Yōsuke Kokuzawa's Manga work, and - it's pretty gross. I had trouble getting past it. Wanted to like the show, but - when it soon became obvious that this little kid's fascination with sorcery was nearly sociopathic, like he would allow his "comrades" to be badly hurt and even mortally wounded just so that he could study the spells being used on them, at a time when he could have easily stopped it. Even his sister wa…

7/10 eh... its a decent title if you rate it objectively, the animation/world building etc. its all superb, could be an 8 but my personal taste clash a lot with how this title works. The only major problem of this title is, the premise, the plot and the flow clash with each other, how? it generally feels and has the approach like your typical slow life yet it has dense plot to offer and the reason why this is a big problem is i personally couldn't enjoy it as both unlike a lot of title that could mix both, this one is hard to enjoy the mix. The only thing keeping my interest to not drop this at episode 3 and continue watching till the end outside of its good animation etc. is, this title know how to make good cliffhangers. When the the story starts to get boring, it ends the episode with…

Degenerate anime. Avoid it if you have any sense. The characters are black and white, and the backstories are incredibly cliché. They often come out of nowhere. That said, the anime is watchable if you ignore the bizarre things like 'the protagonist has childlike proportions, a woman's thigh, and a man's mindset,' 'all the degenerate fan service,' 'everyone's obsessed with a 10-year-old' (knock, knock, knock, FBI open up!), or 'most of the female characters have Stockholm syndrome.' It's probably thanks to the good animation that the anime is watchable, the only real redeeming quality of the show. Without it, I wouldn't have finished the season. The plot is worthy of an edgy 14-year-old, but it's not catastrophic. There are worse, but you have to switch your brain off. If you're looking…

I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability To start with I would say " Don't think that a child figure here means weak neither the girlish look of LLoyd means his nature is also the same " When i watched the anime for the first time I dropped it after 3 episodes because I got bored but from a very long time i had been watching edits about the anime since season 2 aired recently which made me curious to continue watching the anime and oh boy I was so wrong leaving the anime before it actually got entertaining . Yeah ik reincarnation with " OP POWERS " is a generic trope but the way the story is written and the charecters in it makes the story kinda standout of the other anime we got with similar storyline . We got : 1. A hot maid with shouta…

Im not good at reviews but, honestly it has a bit of fanservice. but dude, expect literally sun jin woo levels of aura farming and that kind of fights here. LIKE WHAT THE FUCK WHY ARE THE FIGHTS SO INCREDIBLE, IT GAVE ME GOOSEBUMPS EVERY SINGLE TIME. NOBODY SAID THIS WAS BASICALLY AN ACTION ANIME its fascinating how they manage magic in this anime too, its so intricate. The characters are pretty nice, they dont have insane levels of depth to them but they are lovable (or hateable. Also if you hate those kind of animes where you would just wish that the mc would just reveal their world ending powers already then you will not like this. its kind of frustrating cuz this guy is a genius. if you dont mind the fanservice, this anime is a masterclass.

A man that loves studying magic and is willing to do a lot for it, to the point you might call him a psychopath and a maniac when it comes to it, where in his past life he was a commoner so he didn't have as much mana/genes as he needed/wanted, gets reincarnated as a 7th prince where he gets everything he lacked in his previous life, and can finally focus on studying magic. This anime is a great goofy isekai, but it also has a pretty good arc where it does get a bit emotional. The story presents the MC going on about his life and getting himself in all kinds of situations, mostly in which you will learn alongside him new magic that he tries to use and combine. As the 7th prince, he is kinda let off the hook and to do whatever he wishes. The events that you see the MC in are very well don…

You saw that review at the top which said this wasn't your "run of the mill isekai"? That bastard is blatantly lying. This is the most generic isekai/reincarnation and MC, as generic as it gets. This thing is so bad it fits all the checkmarks that "The Eminence in Shadow" is trying to parody, and I hated that anime, but at this point I think I hate myself because somehow I enjoyed this undeniable trash. This show is extremely honest about how cliché it is, and it plays around it. It is predictable, the writing is bad, but if you somehow got yourself caught into watching isekais, you may like it. BUT, if you expect good writing, good worldbuilding, or anything of quality, please avoid this thing. Maybe this is one of those pieces that is so bad it loops around and becomes good? The comedy…

This anime have some type of potential but I don’t know why they are trying to put this " New generation " thing every where. If the main is a man make him look like a boy not a little girl with a masculin voice. Beside that the story is OK even tho there is nothing much really happening, the fight scene is good tho. I was really waiting for more from this anime but it is average. The story is predicteble, the graphiques fit with the story even if it's kind of a teanager anime. Only watch it if you're desperate and you have nothing else to watch.

This series has some things I love -- a competent protagonist, cute girls, and an excellent execution of power fantasy. It also has some stuff I hate -- mainly the unfunny overreaction comedy, childlike atmosphere, and action shonen fights. Normally this would earn it a 5/10 or 6/10 along with a "mixed feelings" verdict. However, the strengths of this show are strong enough that it overpowers the downsides sufficiently that I genuinely wanted to watch more of it, and was happy enough to just muddle through the bad parts to get to the good. Of course, I wish it just didn't bother with the unfunny comedy bits and took itself more seriously. If it did, this show might have been something special instead of a mere fun novelty. The power fantasy is done very, *very* well -- we're talking up to…

It’s another reincarnation anime, but the take here is a bit different tho somehow it is same as other reincarnation anime. I would like to appreciate the studio’s animation work here, this is not an in and out action anime and dunno know how popular the manga actually is to get this kinda adaptation tho but the animation in action sequences was actually good. It’s better than some famous titles. Never Judge a Book by its cover. I’m not saying this a masterpiece or something like that but—the thing is it’ll not bore you while watching. And yeah the MCs character design could have been better🌚

This anime tries extremely hard in a lot of things, characters, story, power, being cool(in an edgy"cold" way), emotions, etc. But it is beyond garbage in everything, the characters are not cool, and you don't care at all about them because their past is extremely cliche and forced. Story has nothing is just an overpowered isekai character learning magic not well explained he just learn. They try so hard in make the protagonist look cool, cold, edgy and get completely nothing for it that is funny, it's a sexualized kid that you don't care at all, it's beyond cringe every time this dude tries to do something. They try to get your emotions every second but you can't take anything serious with the prota being a sexualized kid. A sexualized kid 3rd time I said that because that's what you g…

With Season 2 around the corner, this anime feels like a rare gem in the isekai genre. It gives off a similar vibe to The Eminence in Shadow—a fun, fast-paced story that progresses with each episode and, surprisingly, makes a lot of sense. The plot isn’t deep or serious, but it doesn’t try to be. The main character is insanely obsessed with magic, and that obsession is what keeps the whole show moving forward. The bizarre situations the MC puts himself in just to gain more magical knowledge are absolutely hilarious, creative, and well-animated. Speaking of animation, the art style isn’t perfect, but it’s definitely above average. At first, I wasn’t a fan of the main character’s design—but as the show progressed and the animation delivered scene after scene, it became clear why they chose…

Pretty meh, yet another isekai. Basically no story: just a guy who’s apparently the strongest in the anime, effortlessly beating enemies that keep jumping at him. For some reason, it constantly felt like I was watching random Naruto episodes, but wrapped in a fantasy setting. The best way to describe this anime: it’s like it was written by a 15-year-old Naruto fan who doesn’t really know how to write yet, but somehow got serious funding. There’s essentially no real story, the jokes are questionable (none of them made me laugh personally). There’s a bit of drama and mostly good-natured characters, though I didn’t particularly like any of them. It kind of feels like a parody anime, like the author thought, “What if I make the protagonist a young boy who’s also the strongest,” and then just…

I had to come here and comment on this anime, because I thought the rating was very unfair. Honestly, it deserved a little more. Of course, if you want to compare it to other great works, this one will leave a little to be desired, but even so, it is far above other animes that people here gave better ratings. This is just another work with a generic story about a reincarnated person who is OP and does everything very easily and everyone likes it, but what makes it great, especially compared to current works (04/2025), is the very good comedy, the magic and action scenes are very fluid and well animated, totally different from the crap we have seen in the current season and the previous one. (God protect us from what may come in the next ones). The final fight is very exciting, with incr…

I stumbled on this anime while looking for something with an "OP MC" just because I like to watch those to kill time. This was way more enjoyable than I thought it would be; they added some really cool effects to magic, and the fight scenes are very well made. As for the story, it's as generic as it can be. The MC is OP and doesn't want anyone to find out while he just likes to keep learning new magic and doing magic sh*t without actually being the center of things. It has some decent comedy, some funny moments, and it gives somewhat decent side characters. What is kind of annoying is the fact that the MC is a 10-year-old femboy. They made him look like a little girl (and sometimes behave as one, even pose as one) while pretty much a harem of girls just wants to be with him. I'm surprise…

I put this show on the back burner as the title just sounded like the most generic and boring anime. "Reborn as the 7th prince..." this title alone doesn't scream originality at all and made me think they are really running out of ideas if you have to choose the 7th prince because they already made the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on. Like usual I ignored reviews and synopsis as I've watched over a few hundred animes that I just go by picture and title now. Yes I have no life. Surprisingly this anime was entertaining. Aside from the boring title I did not expect over the top action, bright colors, and comedy. If you like action, boobs, comedy and magic then watch it. Don't expect an original story, a masterpiece, nor something that touches your heart. This paragraph sums this anime up. Short an…
